"Snagit - The Swiss army knife of screen and video capture."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Snagit?

While there are many ways to take screenshots or record how to videos, Snagit is my favourite solution. From delayed screenshots to recording videos demonstrating technical information, Snagit makes the job easy and professional. Snagit performs well even on machines will lower specifications and the price is reasonable given it is packed full of features. Overall, Snagit with its' clean UI is easy to use, and gets the job done. I use it at work on my PC and at home on my MacBook Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snagit?

I can't think of anything specific that I dislike about Snagit. It just works for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Snagit solving and how is that benefiting you?

I often need to create how do documents and videos. Snagit makes it easy to take tricky screenshot, where the interface is only visible with user interaction, such a popup menus, where you need to use your mouse. Snagit also captures my mouse movements and allows me to define specific areas of the screen to capture. While I am sure there are other ways to achieve this, none of these are as easy and consistent as using Snagit. I also like that I can record videos, while also capturing my web camera as an in-picture window. I can even define where the windows sits on the screen during my recording.
