"Smartsheet Project Mgmt Review"

5/5

What do you like best about Smartsheet?

The enhanced spreadsheet capabilities, the forms, the notifications and automation (somewhat limited without additional add-ons), gant chart ability. Easy to use. Many formulas are the same to excel, so not difficult to adapt to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

Not as automated as I would like without additional add-ons, too expensive for individuals or small businesses. Can't merge cells. Doesn't have capability for multiple tabs (sheets) within the same document. Can't delete more than 5 columns at once. Renaming columns should be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Smartsheet:

If you like spreadsheets, notifications, and automation, this is definitely the tool for you. It is a little expensive though, so if you don’t need all the gadgets that smartsheet offers (enhanced forms, Gantt charts, easy-to-link multi-sheet cells, easy to apply notifications, other add-ons) google sheets will do. What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Communications: Notifications keep most people reminded of tasks, this is particularly helpful when there are a large quantity of calls, task and project deadlines. It also alerts us when changes or updates are being made to the Sheets. Live changes: we can all see changes made to project sheets at real time. This can save substantial time and/or errors. Automation workflows increase productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
