What do you like best about Smartlead?

All the tools for rotating mailboxes are intelligent and easy to use, with human-behaviour configuration options that help simulate real people using them. I also like the precise controls over what mailboxes write and when, including sending intervals, plus the logs that let me see internal errors and processes to control what is really happening.

Also the 24/7 support with real humans is a key feature, and they actually listen when you make requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

Pricing is a little high when you are a small business using the platform only for yourself, and you have to pay for every single tool inside. Sometimes it feels like a standard mailing campaign system would do just fine, but when you have a burned out domain and need a fast swap that you can buy directly inside the same app and without affecting your real domains, you really appreciate all the tools you have.

And other functionalities have some weaknesses, like UI performance being a little laggy sometimes on low-end computers (almost not happening again since last update), AI systems failing with some multilanguage inputs and ongoing support tickets being automatically closed by the system during weekends when you don't work. But all these problems don't affect that much at least at our low scale, and I've already talked with support about all of them and are being improved every day with each update, actively monitored by the developer team, so I'm sure they won't be a problem any more soon enough! What problems is Smartlead solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anything I find out I reach support and the team gets hands into it very quickly. For example, email AI autocategorization fails sometimes on foreign languages, and had a flaw with not being able to combine fallback fixed delay for re-engagement with the AI calculated delay. But before I could report again, that second part was already implemented as a new feature and the AI categorization problem is being actively studied by their developers with user feedback and trials to get rid of the problem.

And lots of other minor issues that have been solved over the time.

If we are talking about solving problems in the sense of what the product solves for my company, the main key feature is being able to easily manage and buy new domains and mailboxes with one click, monitor them to avoid them to burn, and if they finally burn you have a one-button swap to replace the burnt ones with fresh ones. So summing up, it helps us keep the outbound system running very easily and under the control of a click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
