## Slido Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to use - even for a luddite like me!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The instantaneous use of visuals, to illustrate the knowledge or view points of participants.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I started simply, but that also meant there were no down-sides to my first experience using slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accurate data. Visual representation of thinking.

  ### 2. Very satisfied

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The PowerPoint integration is helpful. In addition, there is no limit on participants in the free version.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Custom image is not supported in free account.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Self-assessment of participants in regards to the adaptability skill.

  ### 3. Engage people anywhere, in lots of ways, that fits every schedule.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua (Josh) B. | Lean-Agile Enterprise Transformation Coach & Trainer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The flexibility.
- Multiple simple and secure ways to engage: QR, Link, Meeting platform integration, etc.
- Multiple question styles to reach out to different types of communicators.
- Event duration allows for one experience before, during, and after the live portion of the session while keeping all the data in a single "event" regardless of how many engagements were used (including Q&A).

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I am nitpicking here. While the word cloud is great, I would like a couple more settings to give me control over how the Cloud is formed.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building the Culture of everyone getting to be heard: Slido enables everyone all over the world to have the same experience and have their voice heard. Whether the person is in the same room as the facilitator, in the next state over, or across the globe... Q&A and Polling are equal access. This is a huge boost to Meeting Equity putting it on the short list of tools I recommend consistently to other facilitators.

  ### 4. A great tool to increase interactivity and engagement in meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshuman B. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

- Increases engagement in meetings
- Helps me get user feedback quickly and efficiently
- Easy to use if set up properly
- Simple and clean interface

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

- The first screen has 2 buttons so may cause a little confusion to the participants. Once you get past that, it is easy to use.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido is helping me nuild interactive and engaging training programs for my clients. I am also able to quickly gather feedback about a workshop / meeting / training in an easy manner.

  ### 5. Seamless and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I love the cloud word. The way the participants responses pops up on the screen and they can see their responses in real time.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Seriously, I love everything about slido

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helped my audience see their real life responses and the facilitators are able to discuss the responses as they come in. To me, I think that's amazing as they get to see their responses and not worry if they were edited before reporting.

  ### 6. Slido engages our meeting participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake W. | Research Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is easy to program activities, but the real value is in its ability to engage our meeting participants. Meetings can be long and boring causing some to check out, but mixing in a Slido here and there catches participants' attention and keeps the meetings flowing productively.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

All in all, Slido has been great. At first I was unsure how to share a presentation for a non-Slido licensee, but once I found the right button, it was a breeze.

Meeting participant engagement and collecting meaningful data in real time.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I have been using mentimeter from past 4 years and I was introduced to Slido through watching the facilitator present some data and statistics using Slido. I was curious and setup Slido account to notice that is free and so flexible.I am loving Slido and have already created around 30 polls in the last 2 months!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I think its about the license version. It prompts you for a paid version to setup advance polls and quizzes

It was also quite easy to setup my first poll/quiz because they provide tempaltes and guidance on how to get started.

I thought it could be easier to understand where to upload company branding and logo, but I was on the free tier and didn't spend a lot of time exploring so may have missed it.

Switching between presenter and viewer and editor mode is a bit confusing on the first time.

  ### 14. The best way to engage your audience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

More engagement from a wider berth of participants at live events. When the 'roaming mic' is used it is generally the same handful of people dominating (and often not asking questions other than "do you agree with me when I say the following...")

Ranking questions to bump them up the queue.

Ease of use on both mobile and desktop.

Excellent options to integrate into Google Slides/Powerpoint.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Somewhat limited in session evaluation (the stars/emjois could also have a comment section).

Some people are less tech savvy and/or less interested in using "fancy technology" - we had about 30% of our audience actually engage. That's a little low in my view.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing variety of engagement experiences as we return to in-person events and (finally) ditch virtual conferences.

Slido was very easy to use in terms of creating content, giving ideas for interaction and collaborating with other hosts. For an one-time event it really made a difference and left a positive note, as all event participants felt that a rather boring presentation became more lively once the Q&A opened and the questions were already there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Csaba S. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The Q&A section helped the interaction of the evening

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

All of the services was great and useful, so it wasn't any dislike.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personal questions are often difficult for employees, so the ability to ask anonymous questions using slido has helped a lot.

  ### 38. Easy to use for 200+ attendee conference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** dct s. | Research Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Overall, Slido was perfect for our conference with in-person and virtual attendees. It was easy to use on an administrator end to highlight, mark as complete and un-archive questions, in addition to chairing polls, as well as from an audience perspective.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

A mini tutorial in terms of what the buttons did would have been helpful, as opposed to conducting test runs with colleagues, which meant creating several polls prior to being content with our end result.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience Q&A and polls during conference event

  ### 39. Slido word cloud slides used for 1st day of college class

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

In the past, it seemed difficult to use Slido on a computer to which the Slido software had not been downloaded. Perhaps I just didn't understand how to use Slido on a computer without the app.
However, when I went to use Slido this year, I was able to pull up and display the slides I wanted to use from a web-based interface with Slido, so I didn't have to download the app to the classroom computer.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Well, of course, it would be nice to not have a 3-slide limit, but I can certainly live with that, and I know I could purchase an account that would allow me more freedom in my use of Slido.
That said, the only real problem I encountered while using the web-based interface was that student I had to reset the button that says "display responses" each time I progressed to a new slide.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido makes it easy for me to incorporate this interactive component into classroom lectures.

  ### 40. Easy to use, useful features

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

So far I didn’t come across anything that I disliked

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interaction! Otherwise I would only talk in Monologues as my audience is obviously too shy to raise their hand/voice in an online setting

  ### 41. Great for Team Interaction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramona M. | HR Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

The platform was easy to navigate and set up and interactive series of polls for Team Appreciation Month and team members found it easy to access. We utilized the analytics option to create a summary of responses.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I wish there were more training videos outlining how to utilize it in other ways.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Easy to create events and integrate with Google Slides. Good for engaging with a large audience. Q&A management also helps. We always use it for All-Hands meetings, or meetings with a large audience.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Waiting for people to connect — I'm not sure how it could be improved. Also waiting for people to reply — perhaps a timer would be useful at times, or at least having a way to entertain people while waiting.

One thing that commonly happens is asking for quantitative feedback (rating) of a session, followed by qualitative (written comment) as follow-up. Perhaps the 2 could be linked and help us better manage time.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help manage interaction with large audiences, namely session feedback, and Q&A.
