What do you like best about Slido?

We run monthly all-hands and the same three people always asked questions while everyone else just sat there, not because they didn't have anything to ask, just didn't want to be the one raising a hand in front of two hundred coworkers. Turned on anonymous Q&A and suddenly questions started pouring in from people who never spoke up before, upvoting let the most relevant ones bubble to the top instead of our exec just picking whichever hand went up first. Also started using the PowerPoint add-on directly, polls just appear as regular slides now instead of alt-tabbing to a separate browser tab mid-presentation. What do you dislike about Slido?

Word cloud responses can get spammed with joke answers if the crowd's in a silly mood, had a "describe our year in one word" poll get overtaken by someone typing the same nonsense word repeatedly to make it dominate the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting genuine participation from people who normally stay quiet has made our all-hands feel a lot less like the same three voices every single month. Having polls built right into the presentation instead of switching tools mid-flow has also made things run smoother for whoever's presenting. The word cloud spam thing is a minor annoyance more than a real problem, easy enough to just rerun a poll if someone's clearly gaming it for laughs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
