## Slack Reviews
 ### 1. Versatile Team Collaboration with Channels, Chats, and Powerful Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

It allows for collaboration with my colleagues, within teams and across broader teams. The ability to have channels and user groups, as well as multi-user chats provides versatility. There are also useful features within channels for highlighting specific chats or files. The workflows are very useful for automating processes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like to see an easier way to flag messages for my own personal review. It can be difficult to go back and find information that you know exists. The ability to take notes would be helpful and would make Slack a more comprehensive tool.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The collaboration piece is essential. It allows for immediate communication, but also offers scheduled messaging to ensure nothing is missed. It makes working in an organization much simpler and more collaborative. The huddle feature allows us to video call when messaging is not sufficient and the fact that it's instantaneous is a game-changer.

 ### 2. Essential Communication Tool for Large Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett W. | Assistant Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I love being able to schedule messages to be sent at a certain time and date, which is nice because we have team members in different time zones. We use Slack for connecting the entire company, sending one-on-one messages, and starting group messages. We utilize channels to dispense company-wide or targeted information. It's great to quickly connect with someone rather than sending an email and waiting for a response. With Slack, we can send a quick message, start a huddle, and send files, which is really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like read receipts so I know if someone read my message yet, or having saved phrases that you can quickly select from to respond to messages.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for quick connection across the company, replacing emails with instant messages, huddles, and file sharing. It also allows scheduling messages for team members in different time zones.

 ### 3. Slack Makes Team Communication Fast, Organized, and Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omkar M. | Technical Solutions Delivery Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack has been very helpful for team communication and collaboration. It makes it easy to organize conversations into channels, which keeps discussions tied to specific projects or topics all in one place. As a result, there’s less need for long email threads, and communication feels much faster and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications can feel overwhelming when I have a lot of channels active, and it takes a bit of time to organize them and manage everything properly.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve the problem of scattered communication across email and different platforms. By keeping conversations, files, and updates in one place, it makes collaboration smoother and faster. As a result, productivity improves because team members can share information quickly and respond in real time without jumping between tools.

 ### 4. Centralized Communication, Needs Cost Adjustment

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Qadir A. | Remote Project Coordinator | Process Streamliner for Busy Founders & Teams, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I used Slack for team chat, especially during the pandemic when office attendance was almost zero. It became a central place for my organization to manage daily calls, quick team chats, and media and file sharing, acting as a good digital facilitator tool during the lockdown. I liked it most as a messenger. The calls and media sharing features were good facilities. The daily standup calls and virtual meetings saved a lot of time and cost. I also liked the built-in Canva collaboration feature since meeting agendas and notes were managed well during calls, eliminating the need for additional diaries.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The initial setup of Slack was tricky, and I had to read some blogs to manage it. AI features like agents creation could enhance Slack and make it more competitive with industry leaders. Additionally, it would be great if Slack was more cost-efficient and had improved offline functionality. Due to cost concerns, I switched to using Zoom and Microsoft Teams, where I also get benefits like Office 365 integration.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack served as a central place for communication during remote work, allowing for daily calls, team chats, and media sharing, saving time and cost.

 ### 5. Faster Communication, Cleaner UI – Slack Just Works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sathish K. | Technical Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack has a much cleaner and more intuitive UI compared to Microsoft Teams. Channels keep conversations well-organized, and the search functionality makes it easy to find past discussions quickly. Performance-wise, it feels faster and more responsive, which really helps in day-to-day communication and reduces delays during work.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack can get overwhelming with too many notifications and active channels, making it hard to stay focused. Also, searching older messages sometimes requires better filtering.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps us streamline communication across our support teams by connecting with our helpdesk tools. It makes it easy to share updates, collaborate in real time, and manage multiple channels for different issues or teams. This has significantly improved our response time and overall coordination.

 ### 6. Unites Teams, Speeds Up Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eveliina H. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is absolutely brilliant at bringing our entire organization together. It effortlessly unites our teams, breaking down silos and making cross-departmental collaboration feel natural. I appreciate the speed—real-time messaging keeps things moving incredibly fast. Instead of waiting hours for an email reply, we get instant answers and quick check-ins, which keeps our daily operations and projects moving forward without losing any momentum. Slack solves the problem of slow, fragmented internal communication. By replacing clunky internal email threads with organized channels, it speeds up our decision-making process dramatically. It keeps everyone connected, aligned, and engaged, ensuring that our business keeps up a fast, productive pace every single day. Plus, the initial setup of Slack was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Because it is so fast and accessible, it can sometimes become a bit too noisy. If you don't actively manage your notifications, channel memberships, and status updates, it's easy to get distracted by constant pings or let important information get buried in a busy chat stream. It requires some internal discipline to use effectively.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack unites our organization, breaking down silos for natural cross-departmental collaboration. It's incredibly fast with real-time messaging, speeding up decision-making and daily operations by replacing slow, fragmented internal communication with organized channels.

 ### 7. Boosts Team Collaboration with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapil P. | UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for team communication, project discussions, and quick file sharing to stay connected with my team. Slack keeps all team conversations in one place, reduces email clutter, and makes it easier to track discussions and collaborate quickly. I like the Canvas feature in Slack, as it lets me keep project notes, tasks, and resources in one structured place while staying connected to ongoing team discussions. The Canvas feature in Slack gives a dedicated space to create and organize important info alongside conversations, which helps keep work structured and easy to manage. We switched from Google Chat to Slack because it offers better organization with channels, more integrations, and an overall smoother experience for team collaboration. The initial setup of Slack was very easy, with a simple interface that made it quick for the whole team to get started. I would rate Slack an 8 out of 10 for its ease of use and strong collaboration features.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The screen-sharing feature in Slack works well overall, but it could be even better with more flexibility to manage the floating call window, making presentations cleaner and less distracting.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack keeps all team conversations in one place, reduces email clutter, and makes it easier to track discussions and collaborate quickly. It offers better organization with channels, more integrations, and a smoother experience for team collaboration.

 ### 8. A Game-Changer for Remote Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Feriel T. | Admin and Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really find Slack to be great for communication with my remote colleagues. I think it's helpful that I can chat instantly without having to wait for hours like with emails. Slack lets me talk professionally if needed, but also provides a space to laugh and have more informal conversations. I appreciate that I can share big pictures, emojis, and GIFs easily, and the tagging system makes it simple to get people's attention or notify a whole channel if necessary. I also like how easy it is to create channels and group discussions. Overall, the setup was quite easy, actually really easy, and it's scaled with us from when we were less than 10 people to now more than 300. It’s great, and I can't think of anything that needs improving. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Nothing really

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to instantly chat and ask questions, sharing files easily. It replaces emails, providing quick responses without waiting hours.

 ### 9. Easy to Use, Fast, and Central to Cross-Functional Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like best about Slack is how easy it is to use and how naturally it fits into our daily workflows. We use it heavily across the organization for almost all internal communication, so it has become the central place where teams stay aligned.

From a product management perspective, it is especially useful because it makes cross-functional collaboration much faster. I can quickly coordinate with engineering, design, support, sales, and customer-facing teams without needing to set up a meeting for every small topic.

Channels also make it easier to keep conversations organized by team, project, customer topic, or initiative. This helps create visibility across the organization and gives people the ability to follow relevant discussions without being directly involved in every conversation.

I also like that Slack works well for both quick async updates and more detailed discussions. It helps reduce email overhead, speeds up decision-making, and makes it easier to share context, links, documents, and updates in one place.

We also integrate Slack with several other tools we use, from AI assistants to Notion and other operational systems, which makes it even more useful as a central communication and notification hub.

Performance has also been great for us. Even though we use Slack heavily across the organization, it remains fast and reliable. Support has also been very responsive whenever we needed help.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The pricing can be quite steep, especially for Startups

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps us centralize internal communication and makes it much easier for teams to stay aligned across the organization.

The main problem it solves for us is reducing fragmented communication. Instead of relying on email, scattered tools, or unnecessary meetings, Slack gives us one place for quick updates, project discussions, cross-functional collaboration, and company-wide communication.

From a product management perspective, this is especially valuable because I work with many different teams, including engineering, design, support, sales, and customer-facing teams. Slack makes it easy to quickly ask questions, share context, discuss customer feedback, coordinate priorities, and unblock decisions without needing to schedule a meeting every time.

It also benefits us through integrations. We connect Slack with several other tools, from AI assistants to Notion and other operational systems, so important updates and notifications can flow into the channels where people are already working.

Overall, Slack helps us move faster, reduce communication overhead, improve visibility across teams, and keep important work and discussions easier to follow.

 ### 10. Efficient Workflows with Slack's Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit B. | DevOps Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack on a daily basis to manage and run my team work, and the whole company discussions are running under Slack. Slack solves communication issues and helps me to set up workflow automation to manage my team more efficiently. I like that I can set up workflows, connect integrations into Slack, and act fast. I set up automations and processes to approve GitHub reviews, onboard new services, and manage Jira tickets. On top of that, Slack AI is a game changer that helps me summarize and manage my tasks better. The initial setup of Slack for our team was super easy; we were able to spin it up in 5 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I can't mark as read messages from specific app or person, which is an issue because we have an automation running daily that tags me in threads. To remove them from the 'activity' tab, I need to go over them one by one.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves communication issues and helps set up workflow automation, allowing me to manage and run my team more efficiently. I integrate with Jira and GitHub for approvals and on-boarding, while Slack's AI helps me summarize and manage tasks better.

 ### 11. Teams Keeps Meetings, Chat, and Calendar Seamlessly Integrated

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shruti S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Probably one of two reasons.

It cost less than Teams, and don’t ask me I have no idea with this is true.

It provides better tracking of employees. Spying on you to make sure people are actually working. Again just speculation no idea if it does or not

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack is the only option because other tech companies in the West use it. The SLT doesn’t want to appear outdated, even though there’s no justification for it. They’re just making a decision to justify their exorbitant salaries.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It'd be nice for the people using it as a collaborative work environment, but Teams is still the choice for meetings, and I like being able to have my meetings, chat, and calendar all integrated. Plus it's nice having the ability to message non GM suppliers who also use teams. Saves a ton of unnecessary phone calls

 ### 12. Streamlined Academic Communication Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivank M. | Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack primarily for academic purposes in college, mainly for communication and coursework. Slack helps streamline communication between students and instructors by keeping announcements, study materials, and discussions organized in a single place for easier access. This organization increases efficiency and makes collaboration on projects and group work easier. I find it very convenient to use, and the different channels for subjects, projects, and announcements make it easy to find important information quickly. It was fairly easy to set up since joining the workspace and channels was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing that could be improved is notification management. Important messages can sometimes get buried under frequent updates from multiple channels. The interface can also feel a bit overwhelming at times when there are too many active conversations going on.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack streamlines communication, organizes announcements, study materials, and discussions, and simplifies collaboration on projects.

 ### 13. Slack Keeps Team Communication Organized and Productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu J. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how it keeps team communication organized without feeling overly rigid. Channels make conversations clearer and more transparent than email, huddles make it easy to jump into quick calls within the same workspace, and built-in tools like canvases, lists, Workflow Builder, and app integrations make it useful for more than just messaging.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack can get noisy when channels, notifications, and naming conventions aren’t managed carefully. On top of that, some of the more useful capabilities are locked behind higher-tier plans, and the free plan keeps a more limited message and file history than the paid tiers.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack addresses the issue of scattered communication across email, meetings, and disconnected tools by bringing conversations, files, workflows, and integrations together in one place.

 ### 14. Essential for Remote Team Communication, But Calls Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abi N. | HR and Finance, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for team chats, sharing information, calls, and it's particularly great for our remote-first company. I like that it's online and offers real-time communication which is essential since there's not much face-to-face interaction. I can message someone and get an instant response if they're online. I appreciate features like calling, texting, file sharing, and screen sharing which allow us to communicate quickly and easily without needing to send an email or make a phone call. Plus, the initial setup was easy—just add members and permissions, and you're ready to go. It's also nice that Slack connects to Google Drive, Jira, Confluence, and Polly, making it a centralized hub for our communication and work needs.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the call connection isn't so good, and we have to revert to Google Meets. It drops out or there are issues with the sound/quality. Just can't connect sometimes, even if you turn the video, screen function off.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps us communicate quickly and easily as a remote-first company, allowing instant messaging and calls without leaving my location. I can see who's online, share documents, and conduct real-time discussions seamlessly.

 ### 15. Intuitive, Integrative Messaging for Large Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi V. | Founder and Software Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the ability to message people while minding their time zone, and I find the ability to schedule messages really helpful for setting work boundaries when working with folks in different time zones. Integrations with tools like Jira, Zoom, Google Calendar, and even a custom Slack bot for onboarding workflow are very valuable to me. I also appreciate the quick calls and file sharing capabilities. The intuitive nature of Slack made it an easy transition for my team, with some members familiarizing themselves with the software in just a day.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I find it challenging when folks tag everyone in larger channels, which can be disruptive. Posting the same messages in multiple channels creates clutter, and I'm not able to see if someone has read my message or not.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for quick DMs, integration with Jira, Zoom, and calendar, and organizing team discussions. Scheduling messages aids in managing time zone differences, setting work boundaries.

 ### 16. Effortless Team Collaboration with Instant Connectivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian Raul C. | Customer Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack every day at work, and it’s a simple way to connect with people, both internal and external, within the organization. I appreciate the instant communication it offers, allowing me to reach out to colleagues who need my assistance quickly. Interactions come to me immediately, so I can begin addressing issues right away. The initial setup of Slack was straightforward for me since I was already familiar with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Nothing! I love being able to communicate with my team in just a few clicks. It makes staying connected quick and easy.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve account issues like updates and payments efficiently. It's a simple way to connect instantly with internal and external contacts, allowing me to address issues immediately.

 ### 17. Vital for Team Communication, Needs Better Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristi O. | Manager, Customer Care- Guest, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that I can make my own emojis and GIFs and add them. I like being able to schedule reminders for my team and specific people, especially if it's their day off. I also like that I can see their schedules and know if they're out or traveling. Slack allows our team culture to thrive even in a virtual environment. The initial setup was so easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Some of the organization pieces could be better. Like they are all in one big line but it would be helpful to have different tab areas. I would like to click an icon and see my business overall comms. Then a different item for me specific, then another for my team, then another for collab partners.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps me communicate with different teams, manage escalated situations, and maintain threads for processes. It thrives team culture and allows for scheduling reminders and viewing schedules, benefiting our virtual environment.

 ### 18. Slack: Smooth Communication, Modern and Intuitive UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice B. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like using Slack as the main means of direct and internal communication at work because it offers smooth and direct communication, whether for group discussions, projects, announcements, or 1:1 direct messages. The UX and UI of Slack are generally very pleasant, modern, and intuitive, which makes the atmosphere enjoyable and fun. I particularly appreciate the support for various media like images, videos, links to external services, and gifs, which enrich communication and create a more friendly work environment. The message scheduling function is very practical and gives me peace of mind, especially for managing daily communications and rituals. I like how I can manage and customize my statuses, which avoids making too many recurring announcements. The initial setup of Slack was very simple and quick.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Notifications are not always very consistent or do not always work very well. I feel like I sometimes don't receive certain important notifications and sometimes the same message can count twice. In terms of monitoring, it would be good to have more tools for managers. The definition of "active" seems a bit light to me because it seems that an active day on Slack counts from the moment the user has logged in at least once. I would also like to have a report on my activities by month or by quarter. I would also like to be able to better manage and organize my conversation channels because I have a lot of them and maybe create labels or sub-groups. I'm not a big fan of the latest updates and the way the notification/last message page is presented, but I think it's just a matter of getting used to it.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack facilitates smooth and direct communication, avoiding emails and making the experience more agile than with Teams. The integration of multiple media, message scheduling, and status customization improve communication management and lighten repetitive tasks.

 ### 19. Fast, Organized Communication That Keeps Remote Sales Moving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler W. | Senior Sales Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like best about Slack is how fast communication moves. In a remote sales job like Tribe Wellness, speed matters because leads, objections, and updates happen all day, and I can get answers from managers or teammates immediately instead of waiting on email. It also keeps everything organized in channels, so I can quickly find scripts, product info, and past conversations to improve my calls.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I honestly don’t really dislike anything about Slack. There are a lot of messages and notifications throughout the day, but in a fast paced remote sales environment like Tribe Wellness that actually helps me stay updated and responsive. Overall it keeps communication smooth, organized, and makes it easier to get support when I need it.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of delayed communication in a remote sales team. Instead of waiting on emails or meetings, I can quickly ask questions about products, compliance, or how to handle an objection and get real time help, which directly improves my conversations with prospects. That benefits me by helping me close more sales, stay confident on calls, and keep learning from the team every day.

 ### 20. Seamless Remote Collaboration, Needs Better Video Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad A. | Customer Success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack's seamless connection and post availability, allowing me to stay connected even when I'm away from my PC using my cell phone. This is crucial for remote workers in different regions. Plus, it's free of cost, which is great because other platforms like Microsoft Teams often require purchasing domains or have additional charges. Slack is incredibly useful and a free resource, and I can upgrade if I want, but it's really handy without any cost. The initial setup was smooth, easy, and very quick.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think Slack needs to improve its video conference capabilities. There are no filters, enhancements, or adjustments for video meetings, which are features easily available in other platforms like Teams or Zoom.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for communication with my remote teammates, sharing project deadlines, and quick calls. Its seamless connection keeps me connected on the go, and it's a free resource, unlike others that charge.

 ### 21. Slack Keeps Communication Organized, Seamless, and Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like how Slack makes communication feel organized and easy to navigate. Being able to categorize and group channels helps keep everything easy to follow, especially when there are a lot of moving pieces. I also love how simple it is to use and customize emojis for quick reactions! Its a fun addition to routine daily tasks. Features like huddles are great for quick, low-effort conversations when you don’t need a full meeting, and workflows are really helpful for automating repetitive tasks. On top of that, the integrations make a big difference since everything can live in one place instead of bouncing between tools. It just makes day-to-day work feel a lot more seamless and less cluttered.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I don’t have many major complaints, but I’ve noticed Slack workflows can sometimes fail without a clear reason, which can be frustrating to troubleshoot. I also wish there were more customization options in workflows!

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve the problem of communication being all over the place. It keeps everything centralized and organized with channels, threads, and integrations, so things don’t get lost. That’s been really helpful for me because it cuts down on back-and-forth and unnecessary meetings, and makes it easier to stay on top of everything without feeling overwhelmed.

 ### 22. Seamless Communication and Integration Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for communicating with my team members and clients, and I like how it enables quick communication in a fast-paced environment, helping me and my team stay agile. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how fast it operates. Its integration with tools like Google Calendar is valuable, as I can view my meetings for the day within Slack, all in one place. I also often use the 'remind me later' tool, which is essential for remembering tasks that I can't handle in the moment without forgetting important things. Communication on Slack is quick and easy, and setting it up was very easy too, as it was already around when I joined my company.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I can't think of any improvements other than making it easier to work across Workplaces. I often have to figure out what workspace I am in and what one I need to get into when I'm logging back in and usually can't remember the URL.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack enables quick communication and helps me and my team stay agile. It's easy to use, integrates well, and with Google Calendar, keeps my schedule organized. The remind me later tool helps manage tasks that can't be tackled immediately.

 ### 23. Efficient Communication with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam A. | Franchise Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like using Slack for our company's internal communications because it's so easy to use, and it never seems to malfunction or be slow. I enjoy the ability to huddle and share screens, which works better than other video conferencing apps I've used, and it makes communicating from our large office or even when out of the office a breeze. I appreciate that Slack delivers the right notifications we need in critical times, and the initial setup was very easy for me, especially since I've used it at other companies. Plus, having it connected for automations with tools like monday CRM, social media accounts, and Notion is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I feel like it should be much easier to organize channels. The UI for admin tools is a bit all over the place. Don't like hopping out of the app to a website, want it all in the app for admin.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for internal communication, video calls, and screen sharing, saving time and making it easy to connect from anywhere. It delivers timely notifications and integrates with our CRMs. It's easy to use and reliable, enhancing our collaboration.

 ### 24. Empowering Remote Workforces Across the U.S.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleia G. | Scheduling Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the convenience of being able to access my coworkers, especially because I work in a remote setting. Slack has allowed me to speak to coworkers all over the United States, and my company currently has 50 plus locations. I find it really helpful to access files, like Google files, directly from Slack, which can be pasted directly into a message and linked. I recommend Slack all the time. I think it's a great tool for communicating across a broad spectrum within the company. I can speak with doctors, care coordinators, supervisors, and upper management.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I wish adding new workspaces was a little more seamless and streamlined. It was fairly easy except when I had to add several workspaces—we're talking over 50 different clinics—and changing the settings for each one. It wasn't a difficult process, just more tedious.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack daily for work, managing communication with my coworkers across 50+ locations, enhancing remote teamwork. It's convenient for accessing Google files directly within messages.

 ### 25. Streamlined Communication with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinit P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack because it helps our team at 2do Pros stay organized and communicate faster. Instead of emails and messages, we use channels to keep everything sorted, like updates, team discussions, or issues found and when they're resolved. It's easy to share files and get quick responses, especially when managing multiple things at once. Slack is easy to organize, manage, and use for communication. With team members in different time zones, it's great to drop a message or task, and they'll handle it once they're available. I also found the installation process straightforward and simple, allowing us to quickly create channels and start communication.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Notification can be too much to handle sometimes, searching is not that accurate, and as the team grows, pricing is on the higher side.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps our team stay organized and communicate faster by using channels for updates, discussions, and issue resolutions. It's easy to share files and get quick responses, which is great for managing multiple tasks.

 ### 26. Essential Communication Hub with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritsu B. | Data analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I mainly like how Slack manages to feel human while being a productive powerhouse. The search functionality is incredible; I love that I can search for a keyword from a conversation three months ago and find the exact file or context I need in seconds. It feels like I have a perfect memory of every conversation I've ever had at work. I'm also a huge fan of the workflow builder. I've set up simple automation so that when a new person joins the channel, they get automated welcome DMs with links to all the input and documents they need. It handles repetitive tasks so I can focus on actual work. Additionally, Slack acts as a connected hub between all other different apps, especially Google Workspace and Notion. This makes it extremely convenient to perform tasks like replying to Google Doc comments from within Slack or pulling information from Notion into Slack conversations.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest issue is notification fatigue. Even with do not disturb and custom settings, it feels like a slot machine for your attention. When I'm away for an hour and return, there's a red dot with 20 different messages from five channels. It's hard to tell what's important and what isn't. I'd like to see intelligent batching, where instead of 20 pings, Slack should give me a single 'while you were out' summary that highlights conversations needing my attention.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to solve the information silo issue common with email. It organizes communication, makes file and message searches quick, ensures integration with tools like GitHub and Jira, and keeps me informed without switching between apps, improving workflow.

 ### 27. Essential Communication Hub, Minor Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack for its file-sharing capabilities, which let me seamlessly transfer files between my mobile device and my laptop. The audio call feature is also great, it’s straightforward to use and not overly complicated. I also find the Slack Apps very useful, and I like that the platform encourages developers to create new apps. Overall, the initial setup was quick and easy.
At this price point this is the best software to use.
The Ai Extension are best for use we can develop our own and its Inbuild Ai Recap feature is great.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the mic is not working for me. It failed to detect my mic in the Slack application. You can add the troubleshooting function to fix things inside the app.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for internal communication, video calls, and audio calls. It helps with easy file sharing between devices and has a handy audio call feature.

 ### 28. Intuitive, Robust Communication Tool for Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph P. | Content Editor, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack to communicate with colleagues in my team and share documents, files, and images, which is especially helpful as we often work remotely. It's also a great way for submitting and tracking tasks, as I can easily mark jobs as ongoing and complete, all in one place. Slack makes communication much easier, and I really like the Huddle feature for face-to-face chats without needing to use other platforms like Teams or Meet. I appreciate how intuitive Slack is; everything makes sense and it's designed to be as easy as possible to use. I think it works well to have lots of different chats between team members, making it very easy to share information and difficult to miss key messages. The initial setup was incredibly simple and felt more robust than other messaging tools.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Nothing at all to note here.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for remote team communication, task submissions, and file sharing. Slack is easier for marking tasks as ongoing and complete compared to Jira. The Huddle feature simplifies detailed explanations with face-to-face chats without leaving the platform.

 ### 29. Perfect for Remote Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elise B. | Senior Visual Designer/Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack to connect with our entire company, which is great for keeping our community and communication going while working remotely. I really like how easy it is to jump into a quick huddle to talk to team members and the ability to share screens to get answers and collaborate efficiently. Slack helps us collaborate in real time, and it's awesome that it connects with tools like Assembly and Google Calendar so everyone can see clients' accomplishments and know when employees are in meetings. It only took about 15 minutes to set up, which was super convenient. I’d definitely recommend it for remote companies.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications can get noisy or distracting. It would be better if the notifications that you aren't tagged in weren't as loud as the ones you are tagged in.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to connect with our remote team, facilitating breakout meetings and maintaining communication. It allows quick huddles and screen sharing for real-time collaboration, making it invaluable for remote work.

 ### 30. Streamlined Team Communication, Reduces Email Clutter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne C. | Marketing & Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that when I'm working from home, I still feel connected to everyone else in the company. I enjoy using Slack for status updates where I can indicate the days I'm working or if I'm on holiday. I appreciate the ability to direct message people for private chats, which helps me maintain both formal and informal connections. I quite like the reminders feature, and we have a channel where everyone is wished happy birthday, enhancing the sense of community.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think I quite often press the return button and send a message when I actually just wanted a line break. And then I end up having to go back in and edit it. So it's just remembering to always press shift and return rather than just return. Additionally, we were in a slack channel with an external agency but when that terminated we couldn't retain or download the data from the channel - as they were the channel owners - this was frustrating!

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps my team eliminate internal emails by providing separate channels for communication. It reduces inbox noise and makes it easy to find information. We also connect with external agencies and update each other efficiently.

 ### 31. Effortless Team Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James W. | Communications Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack's ease of use and how easy it is to create groups, which is essential for organizing communication among our 50 staff members. The interface is good, making it accessible for different levels of computer understanding and usage across departments. The safety and security features are also important, especially since we deal with various levels of sensitive information. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus. The seamless usage on both phone and laptop adds to the convenience, making it a reliable tool for our messaging and communication needs.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

It tries to do too many things, like apps, tools that don't seem to integrate very well. I think Slack should stick to its most essential part which is messaging and communication.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for work messaging, making it easy to chat across departments. It supports our 50 staff with different levels of computer skills and sensitive information, and I like its ease of use, group creation, interface, and safety features.

 ### 32. If you know what to use it for (ex Claude Code Shopity Integration alerts) it's great for features like this!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that I can have Slack on my computer and my phone. I appreciate that once I've learned how to set up alerts, they are not complicated to set up. I find it saves me time by sending alerts automatically, like for inventory levels, so I don't have to constantly check and it makes my approach more proactive. This saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I wish there was an easier way to organize conversations, and I often miss it when people reply because it goes in threads. I don't like the threads feature of Slack. Also, Slack is not very easy to get used to and feels like a confusing messaging app at first if that's the only thing it will be used for.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack allows me to manage multiple conversations with different people and apps without needing to email. The automated alerts save time on inventory management and provide a proactive approach with Shopify integration.

I used the free plan and I don't like that I lose my messages.

 ### 34. Essential for Project Management with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olufemi L. | Technical Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I appreciate Slack as the main tool for communication with internal stakeholders, and I find it to be an incredibly good project management tool. I like how it integrates really well with Outlook and Jira, making it one of the tools I use the most. With Slack and Outlook, I can easily share emails and discuss them further, which is amazing. I also find it really good that I can track comments left on Jira through Slack notifications and set reminders for myself to go back to certain tickets. I find the initial setup and learning process for Slack to be easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The inability to stop new messages from coming in. To truly pause incoming messages instead of just pausing notifications.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack mainly for communication with internal stakeholders and a bit of task tracking by setting reminders. Its integration with Outlook and Jira helps share emails and track Jira comments, making it an invaluable tool for project management.

 ### 35. Seamless Communication, Intuitive to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory R. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the ease of use, and that I can schedule messages. I also like that we can use memes. I like how intuitive it is. It's not difficult to use, and it just makes sense to my brain. It also lives seamlessly in the background and notifies me once I receive a message. It's easy to go to and use, and we can collaborate with external team members because almost everyone else uses it. I also like that it's a tool that everyone else uses.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes, messages can get lost in threads or chats, even though Slack offers search and pin features. It would be nice to have more tools to prevent losing things in discussions. Also, while Slack integrates with project management tools, it would be better if you could connect a project directly to a Slack channel so they could communicate seamlessly.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack provides a single source for communication, reducing decision fatigue. It's easy to use and facilitates collaboration with external teams since almost everyone uses it.

 ### 36. Intuitive and Efficient, Perfect for communicating with clients and colleagues immediately

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra C. | Freelance Translator, Proofreader, Content Writer, AI Evaluator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack is very intuitive and immediate: it allows me to respond promptly to every request from my clients and/or colleagues and, consequently, to be more efficient in my work. I also appreciate the ability to have multiple workspaces, each separate from the other; this way I can communicate individually with all my clients using a single app. I find it useful that Slack immediately sends a notification when a new message arrives, because it gives me the opportunity to respond quickly to both clients and colleagues who are part of the various workspaces. The setup was very simple: I received the email with the link from individual clients, some require two-factor authentication for added security, and everything worked immediately. Moreover, I use it both as an app on my phone and on the PC, and this makes it really convenient, because I can respond to messages even outside the office and always stay in touch with clients. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or a colleague: it is really a good product.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

At the moment, everything is working great and I can't complain.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is intuitive and immediate: it sends instant notifications that allow me to respond promptly and work more efficiently. I also appreciate the ability to have multiple separate and well-organized workspaces, almost like an agenda, because this makes it easier to manage daily tasks and work.

 ### 37. Easy Team Communication Made Seamless—Huddles Are a Huge Bonus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerald P. | Portfolio Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

It’s easy to use, breaks down walls between teams, and enables semi-instant communication. The Huddle feature is a huge bonus.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack bots can sometimes feel a bit clumsy. Also, when I’m in a huddle, not all attendees always drop off properly, and music can keep playing continuously.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI task management and overall task productivity are HUGE problems that Slack is helping solve in real time. The way Salesforce/Slack are integrating with new and additional platforms has been a game changer. At this point, the ROI on Slack outweighs almost any cost. And if any issues do come up, the support staff is quick and seamless.

 ### 38. The best way to be in touch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Its the greatest system I have used to be able to contact my fellow co-workers in a very easy and friendly manner, this has been a very helpful tool in our new easy of work from home. We keep using the system and we have learn so much in this 3 years.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes some attachments are not welcome in the system and that can be a hassle in our meetings but we can always change them and upload the correct ones in order to get the job done. Sometimes its too much for the newbies, but everything is easier.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The communication between our supervisors and us working from home, this is a great way to keep in touch no matter the distance and that build a space of understanding and great work even in a distance

 ### 39. Seamless Team Communication with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hemkesh R. | Senior Digital marketing Team Lead, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack mainly for day-to-day team communication and quick updates. It helps me stay connected with my team, share lead updates, and discuss deal progress in real time. What I like most about Slack is how fast and organized the communication feels. I can quickly message anyone on my team and get instant replies, which saves me from waiting on emails and keeps the conversation moving. I really enjoy the integration with other tools, especially my CRM and Jira. This integration keeps me updated without switching tabs and provides real-time notifications in Slack channels, which is a huge time-saver. The initial setup of Slack was pretty easy, which was a bonus.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing that doesn’t work so well for me in Slack is message overload. Since everything happens in real time, there are days when too many messages come in across different channels. It can get a bit overwhelming, and sometimes important updates get buried in between casual conversations. Managing message overload in Slack is not very difficult, but it does need some effort from my side. On busy days, when multiple channels are active, it becomes easy to miss important updates if I am not checking regularly.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for fast team communication, avoiding long emails and getting quick updates on leads and deals. It integrates with tools like CRM, providing real-time updates in one place, saving me time and keeping communication organized without switching platforms.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

there isnt much. I do sometimes feel overwhelemed with how many features there are but the ones i actively use are great.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the right notifications at the right time. Easy to stay on top of. Even if im stumped on a problem i can easily find the answer using slack support. The ai summerizing channels that are very active is great as well.

 ### 41. Helps me stay connected without too many meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack pretty much the whole day while working, so for me the biggest plus is how quickly I can communicate without breaking my flow. I’m a developer, and instead of scheduling calls or writing long emails, I can just drop a message in the relevant channel and move on.

We have channels split by projects and also for things like deployments, so it’s easy to know where to look for updates. For example, I usually keep an eye on our dev/deploy channels to track what’s going live or if something breaks. That visibility helps a lot without needing separate check-ins.

Integrations are honestly what make it really useful for me. We’ve connected Jira and Git, so I get updates on tickets, PRs, and builds directly in Slack. Earlier I used to keep switching tabs between tools, now most of that info comes to me. It probably saves me a good 30–40 minutes daily.

UI is simple enough that you don’t really have to “learn” it. When new people join, they just start using it. I also use huddles quite a bit for quick discussions instead of setting up meetings, which is surprisingly convenient.

Overall it just makes communication faster and less formal, which works really well for day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest downside is definitely how noisy it can get. I’m part of quite a few channels, and during busy hours it’s a constant stream of messages. Even important things can get lost if you’re not checking regularly.

Notifications help, but they’re not perfect. Either you get too many, or you mute things and risk missing something useful. I still haven’t found a perfect balance there.

Search is another area where I struggle sometimes. If I’m trying to find an old message, link, or decision from a few weeks ago, it’s not always straightforward. I often end up trying multiple keywords or just scrolling manually.

Also, as the number of channels and DMs increases, the sidebar starts feeling cluttered. It would be nice to have better ways to organize or group things.

Integrations are great, but they also add to the noise. For example, Jira or Git updates can flood a channel if not configured properly. More control over how those notifications appear would help.

Performance is mostly fine, but I’ve noticed it lag a bit occasionally when there’s a lot going on (many channels + integrations open). Not a huge issue, but noticeable.

Pricing is something I’ve heard concerns about from a team perspective — some useful features being behind higher plans doesn’t always feel ideal.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Slack, most of our communication was through email and occasional meetings, which was honestly pretty inefficient. A lot of things got buried in threads, and even small discussions would turn into calls.

Now everything is mostly in Slack channels, which makes a big difference. Conversations are tied to projects, so it’s easier to follow what’s happening and go back to previous discussions when needed.

For me personally, it reduces a lot of interruptions. I can ask a question, continue my work, and check back later instead of waiting around for a reply or jumping on a call. That alone has made my workflow smoother.

The integrations have also helped a lot. Since Jira and Git updates come directly into Slack, I don’t have to keep checking those tools constantly. I get notified when something actually needs my attention, which makes me more responsive.

Onboarding is also easier now. When someone new joins, they can just go through channels and pinned messages to understand ongoing work instead of relying completely on others.

In terms of impact, I’d say it saves me around 30–45 minutes daily by reducing meetings and tool switching. It also makes team communication more transparent since most discussions happen in open channels.

Slack has also introduced AI summaries, which are useful when you’ve been away and want a quick overview of conversations, although I think this feature can still improve.

Overall, it’s solved the problem of scattered communication and made day-to-day collaboration much more manageable.

 ### 42. Centralized Communication Hub with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin J. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

One thing I really like about Slack is the ability to reach anyone with a single click. We can create project-specific and team-specific channels, which helps organize all the conversations into one place. Slack has good support for uploading screenshots and integrates well with different tools like GitHub, Jira, and others. I appreciate how all the communication happens on Slack, including project management meetings and reminders. It's also great that Slack is connected to Workday so people can apply directly on it. The organization of channels into categories or groups, especially customer-related channels, is very useful. I also like the support for multiple workspaces, having one for my company and another for the community. Slack's interface and performance are good, and the initial setup was very easy. Furthermore, Slack shines with its numerous integrations, where we've even built internal Slackbots for alerting and monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

There are a few things where I think Slack can improve. One is definitely on the community management. We really want to leverage Slack for managing our developer community, and it has been not a very pleasant experience with Slack. We had to rely on Discord, we didn't like it, then we moved back to Slack. And we moved to Discord again. So community is one thing. Second is better AI support. I would like an actual interface in Slack to ask questions. I don't, now, I can connect it by plot, which I do, and then ask questions. But still, I would like directly in the Slack.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Slack solves all our communication problems by centralizing it in one place. It organizes project and team-specific channels effectively, supports tool integrations, and allows quick connectivity to anyone with a single click.

 ### 43. Effortless Team Communication with Slack

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourav C. | Information Systems Security - Masters Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like how Slack is easy to use, fast, and secure, making communication more efficient than email. The clean UI provides exactly the features we need, and the good search capability helps in finding old messages and files easily, which makes troubleshooting easier. File sharing is safe and simple, and the mobile app is also good. I appreciate the integrations with tools like Jira, Zoom, and GitHub, which enhance our collaboration. Features like huddles and immediate Zoom chats are very helpful, and the ability to track comments and progress on Jira tickets is great. Bots are helpful for notifications, and I like the status feature too.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes there are too many notifications and disturbances, which can shift my concentration away from work. The mobile app is laggy at times, and messages take a while to sync. Also, I feel there's a need for more AI features, like spell check, AI helpers, and rephrase options.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack makes office communication fast, easy, and secure. It allows us to search and chat with anyone, share files easily, start huddles or Zoom chats, and find old messages, facilitating troubleshooting. Integrations with tools like Jira and Zoom enhance our collaboration.

 ### 44. Smooth Internal Communication with Polls, Announcements, and Easy Chat Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naincy S. | Assistant Manager- HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I have used another ERP also but what I like about Slack is they have mentioned it very smooth, like we can run a poll and we can even announce anything
From chatting with our colleague to solving their problem in that chat box makes very easier to communicate with our fellows
So yes I really like this ERP software and I will recommend everyone to use this for their internal communication.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I don't like just 1 thing and that is they should do something with their notification bar means if someone is texting it should popup in our system even if we are using any other thing like chrome

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very beneficial for all of us like-
Communicating with our colleague
Announcing anything internally
Making a separate group and so on

 ### 45. Centralizes Alerts for Efficient Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raghavareddy k. | Associate software engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack for making monitoring much easier because alerts appear instantly in the relevant channels. I don't have to shuffle between dashboards or tools; Slack centralizes all the alerts and monitoring notifications in one place, turning it into the single place where issues surface. When an alert fires, my team can immediately discuss the issue in the same channel, which removes delays caused by switching tools and improves incident response time, helping minimize downtime on the e-commerce sites. The initial setup of Slack was very easy and straightforward. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10 because Slack does an excellent job of centralizing the alerts, improving team collaboration, and integrating well with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Too many notifications at times when multiple monitoring tools send alerts at once, channels can become noisy.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to centralize alerts and monitor notifications, making it easier to identify issues on my e-commerce platform. It reduces tool-switching delays, improves incident response time, and keeps all communication in the same thread.

 ### 46. Intuitive, Fast, but Needs Better Notification Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atif S. | Top-Rated Plus Freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for team collaboration and communication, and the app is very fast, elegant, and convenient to use. I have even recommended other platforms to describe my best experience with messaging applications. I really appreciate the UI and UX; the UI is already top-notch. In terms of UX, I like the speed and the feeling that it is very fast compared to others. It gives the impression of being faster, even if the speeds are technically similar.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I haven't used Slack for about a year because my client isn't using it. I find the authorization process really time-consuming with the need for codes every time I switch workspaces. I also wish Slack had the ability to use AI agents for chat, client summaries, or plans, which would assist with speed and language barriers since freelancers and clients come from different cultures. Lastly, the notification handling or snooze function is confusing, and I'm often guessing when setting my availability.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is fast, elegant, and convenient for team collaboration and communication. I appreciate its top-notch UI and UX, which gives a feeling of speed compared to other platforms.

 ### 47. Slack Threads and Channel Grouping Keep Communication Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Umar A. | Department Head, Social Media Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I have been using Slack for approximately four years, and we have 100+ channels to deal with, and for me personally, grouping the channels under one agency is the best option.
Secondly, the "Thread" option is the BEST, as we can answer for a specific query under its Thread, and the channels are not overcrowded.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes, the message pop-ups do not appear, even if the notifications are turned on. This specific problem caused trouble once or twice as we missed message notifications from the clients.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using many communication tools, such as WhatsApp, Skype, Teams, etc., but as I mentioned earlier, channel grouping and Thread options are the best to keep everything clean.

 ### 48. Streamlined Team Communication, Easy to Set Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle R. | Media Platform Associate Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for day-to-day team communication. It helps reduce email clutter and makes communication faster and more organized. What I most like about using Slack is that it's organized and easy to use. Channels help me separate conversations by project or client, so nothing gets lost. Integrations let me track tasks and updates without switching tools, and the search function makes it easy to find past messages or files quickly. Overall, it saves time and keeps everything in one place. The initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack works well overall, but the interface can feel a bit overwhelming when there are too many channels and notifications. It can also get noisy, making it hard to focus at times. Better notifications controls and a simpler way to manage or prioritize channels would really improve the experience.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack reduces email clutter and organizes communication. Channels help me separate conversations by project or client, and integrations let me track tasks without switching tools. The search function makes finding past messages or files quick, saving time and keeping everything in one place.

 ### 49. Versatile, Easy File Sharing That Keeps Our Team Connected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** abril z. | Lien Negotiator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that it's a versatile way to keep in contact with all my colleagues. I can easily send documents and files that are easy to access without having to use email.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I don't really see the need to integrate AI into a messaging platform. I haven't had to use it as of yet. Sometimes the notifications do have a slight delay as they'll pop up way after I've responded to the messages.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best way to keep in touch with all my colleagues since we recently moved to a bigger building, and we're all more spread out now. It's easier to communicate especially if someone is waiting on a phonecall.

 ### 50. Effortless Team Collaboration, Secure Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey W. | Senior Windows System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack provides a single platform for communication and collaboration that is cross-platform compatible with most of our external vendors and support staff. I love the simple and fast setup for an end user; it's very easy to use. The initial setup was very simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The only problem we have is since it's not a hosted solution, we have to depend on it for the security of our communications and collaborative documents.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack provides a single platform for communication and collaboration, compatible across platforms, making it easy for our team and external vendors to use.
