**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack is very intuitive and immediate: it allows me to respond promptly to every request from my clients and/or colleagues and, consequently, to be more efficient in my work. I also appreciate the ability to have multiple workspaces, each separate from the other; this way I can communicate individually with all my clients using a single app. I find it useful that Slack immediately sends a notification when a new message arrives, because it gives me the opportunity to respond quickly to both clients and colleagues who are part of the various workspaces. The setup was very simple: I received the email with the link from individual clients, some require two-factor authentication for added security, and everything worked immediately. Moreover, I use it both as an app on my phone and on the PC, and this makes it really convenient, because I can respond to messages even outside the office and always stay in touch with clients. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or a colleague: it is really a good product.

At the moment, everything is working great and I can't complain.

Slack is intuitive and immediate: it sends instant notifications that allow me to respond promptly and work more efficiently. I also appreciate the ability to have multiple separate and well-organized workspaces, almost like an agenda, because this makes it easier to manage daily tasks and work.

Slack bots can sometimes feel a bit clumsy. Also, when I’m in a huddle, not all attendees always drop off properly, and music can keep playing continuously.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI task management and overall task productivity are HUGE problems that Slack is helping solve in real time. The way Salesforce/Slack are integrating with new and additional platforms has been a game changer. At this point, the ROI on Slack outweighs almost any cost. And if any issues do come up, the support staff is quick and seamless.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Its the greatest system I have used to be able to contact my fellow co-workers in a very easy and friendly manner, this has been a very helpful tool in our new easy of work from home. We keep using the system and we have learn so much in this 3 years.

Sometimes some attachments are not welcome in the system and that can be a hassle in our meetings but we can always change them and upload the correct ones in order to get the job done. Sometimes its too much for the newbies, but everything is easier.

The communication between our supervisors and us working from home, this is a great way to keep in touch no matter the distance and that build a space of understanding and great work even in a distance

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack mainly for day-to-day team communication and quick updates. It helps me stay connected with my team, share lead updates, and discuss deal progress in real time. What I like most about Slack is how fast and organized the communication feels. I can quickly message anyone on my team and get instant replies, which saves me from waiting on emails and keeps the conversation moving. I really enjoy the integration with other tools, especially my CRM and Jira. This integration keeps me updated without switching tabs and provides real-time notifications in Slack channels, which is a huge time-saver. The initial setup of Slack was pretty easy, which was a bonus.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing that doesn’t work so well for me in Slack is message overload. Since everything happens in real time, there are days when too many messages come in across different channels. It can get a bit overwhelming, and sometimes important updates get buried in between casual conversations. Managing message overload in Slack is not very difficult, but it does need some effort from my side. On busy days, when multiple channels are active, it becomes easy to miss important updates if I am not checking regularly.

I use Slack for fast team communication, avoiding long emails and getting quick updates on leads and deals. It integrates with tools like CRM, providing real-time updates in one place, saving me time and keeping communication organized without switching platforms.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack pretty much the whole day while working, so for me the biggest plus is how quickly I can communicate without breaking my flow. I’m a developer, and instead of scheduling calls or writing long emails, I can just drop a message in the relevant channel and move on.

We have channels split by projects and also for things like deployments, so it’s easy to know where to look for updates. For example, I usually keep an eye on our dev/deploy channels to track what’s going live or if something breaks. That visibility helps a lot without needing separate check-ins.

Integrations are honestly what make it really useful for me. We’ve connected Jira and Git, so I get updates on tickets, PRs, and builds directly in Slack. Earlier I used to keep switching tabs between tools, now most of that info comes to me. It probably saves me a good 30–40 minutes daily.

UI is simple enough that you don’t really have to “learn” it. When new people join, they just start using it. I also use huddles quite a bit for quick discussions instead of setting up meetings, which is surprisingly convenient.

Overall it just makes communication faster and less formal, which works really well for day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest downside is definitely how noisy it can get. I’m part of quite a few channels, and during busy hours it’s a constant stream of messages. Even important things can get lost if you’re not checking regularly.

Notifications help, but they’re not perfect. Either you get too many, or you mute things and risk missing something useful. I still haven’t found a perfect balance there.

Search is another area where I struggle sometimes. If I’m trying to find an old message, link, or decision from a few weeks ago, it’s not always straightforward. I often end up trying multiple keywords or just scrolling manually.

Also, as the number of channels and DMs increases, the sidebar starts feeling cluttered. It would be nice to have better ways to organize or group things.

Integrations are great, but they also add to the noise. For example, Jira or Git updates can flood a channel if not configured properly. More control over how those notifications appear would help.

Performance is mostly fine, but I’ve noticed it lag a bit occasionally when there’s a lot going on (many channels + integrations open). Not a huge issue, but noticeable.

Pricing is something I’ve heard concerns about from a team perspective — some useful features being behind higher plans doesn’t always feel ideal.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Slack, most of our communication was through email and occasional meetings, which was honestly pretty inefficient. A lot of things got buried in threads, and even small discussions would turn into calls.

Now everything is mostly in Slack channels, which makes a big difference. Conversations are tied to projects, so it’s easier to follow what’s happening and go back to previous discussions when needed.

For me personally, it reduces a lot of interruptions. I can ask a question, continue my work, and check back later instead of waiting around for a reply or jumping on a call. That alone has made my workflow smoother.

The integrations have also helped a lot. Since Jira and Git updates come directly into Slack, I don’t have to keep checking those tools constantly. I get notified when something actually needs my attention, which makes me more responsive.

Onboarding is also easier now. When someone new joins, they can just go through channels and pinned messages to understand ongoing work instead of relying completely on others.

In terms of impact, I’d say it saves me around 30–45 minutes daily by reducing meetings and tool switching. It also makes team communication more transparent since most discussions happen in open channels.

Slack has also introduced AI summaries, which are useful when you’ve been away and want a quick overview of conversations, although I think this feature can still improve.

Overall, it’s solved the problem of scattered communication and made day-to-day collaboration much more manageable.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

One thing I really like about Slack is the ability to reach anyone with a single click. We can create project-specific and team-specific channels, which helps organize all the conversations into one place. Slack has good support for uploading screenshots and integrates well with different tools like GitHub, Jira, and others. I appreciate how all the communication happens on Slack, including project management meetings and reminders. It's also great that Slack is connected to Workday so people can apply directly on it. The organization of channels into categories or groups, especially customer-related channels, is very useful. I also like the support for multiple workspaces, having one for my company and another for the community. Slack's interface and performance are good, and the initial setup was very easy. Furthermore, Slack shines with its numerous integrations, where we've even built internal Slackbots for alerting and monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

There are a few things where I think Slack can improve. One is definitely on the community management. We really want to leverage Slack for managing our developer community, and it has been not a very pleasant experience with Slack. We had to rely on Discord, we didn't like it, then we moved back to Slack. And we moved to Discord again. So community is one thing. Second is better AI support. I would like an actual interface in Slack to ask questions. I don't, now, I can connect it by plot, which I do, and then ask questions. But still, I would like directly in the Slack.

I find Slack solves all our communication problems by centralizing it in one place. It organizes project and team-specific channels effectively, supports tool integrations, and allows quick connectivity to anyone with a single click.

I like how Slack is easy to use, fast, and secure, making communication more efficient than email. The clean UI provides exactly the features we need, and the good search capability helps in finding old messages and files easily, which makes troubleshooting easier. I have used another ERP also but what I like about Slack is they have mentioned it very smooth, like we can run a poll and we can even announce anything 
From chatting with our colleague to solving their problem in that chat box makes very easier to communicate with our fellows 
So yes I really like this ERP software and I will recommend everyone to use this for their internal communication.

I don't like just 1 thing and that is they should do something with their notification bar means if someone is texting it should popup in our system even if we are using any other thing like chrome

I like Slack for making monitoring much easier because alerts appear instantly in the relevant channels. I don't have to shuffle between dashboards or tools; Slack centralizes all the alerts and monitoring notifications in one place, turning it into the single place where issues surface. When an alert fires, my team can immediately discuss the issue in the same channel, which removes delays caused by switching tools and improves incident response time, helping minimize downtime on the e-commerce sites. The initial setup of Slack was very easy and straightforward. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10 because Slack does an excellent job of centralizing the alerts, improving team collaboration, and integrating well with other tools.

I use Slack for team collaboration and communication, and the app is very fast, elegant, and convenient to use. I have even recommended other platforms to describe my best experience with messaging applications. I really appreciate the UI and UX; the UI is already top-notch. In terms of UX, I like the speed and the feeling that it is very fast compared to others. It gives the impression of being faster, even if the speeds are technically similar.

I haven't used Slack for about a year because my client isn't using it. I find the authorization process really time-consuming with the need for codes every time I switch workspaces. I also wish Slack had the ability to use AI agents for chat, client summaries, or plans, which would assist with speed and language barriers since freelancers and clients come from different cultures. Lastly, the notification handling or snooze function is confusing, and I'm often guessing when setting my availability.

I have been using Slack for approximately four years, and we have 100+ channels to deal with, and for me personally, grouping the channels under one agency is the best option.
Secondly, the "Thread" option is the BEST, as we can answer for a specific query under its Thread, and the channels are not overcrowded.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes, the message pop-ups do not appear, even if the notifications are turned on. This specific problem caused trouble once or twice as we missed message notifications from the clients.

We have been using many communication tools, such as WhatsApp, Skype, Teams, etc., but as I mentioned earlier, channel grouping and Thread options are the best to keep everything clean.

I don't really see the need to integrate AI into a messaging platform. I haven't had to use it as of yet. Sometimes the notifications do have a slight delay as they'll pop up way after I've responded to the messages.

Best way to keep in touch with all my colleagues since we recently moved to a bigger building, and we're all more spread out now. It's easier to communicate especially if someone is waiting on a phonecall.

Working as a Virtual Assistant, Slack is one of the main tools we are using for daily conversation. My fave thing is how it keeps everything organized; it's easy to track tasks, updates, and client instructions in one place.

It also helps me stay responsive because of its real-time messaging. I can easily connect with clients and team members even in different time zones. One more thing I really like is its automation and integration, it can be connected with different tools and workflows.  So overall, Slack is best for me!

So far, I don't have any major issues with Slack. It works well for communication and collaboration. If there's one thing I could say, maybe it would be the pricing, as lower plans would be more helpful for small teams or freelancers.

I had a very good experience with Slack. It's fluid and very good for communication. I truly love it because it's a very convenient way to communicate with teammates. What I love the most is the ease of use; it's not heavy and feels light, similar to Messenger from Hotmail, which I love. Slack is user-friendly and reminds me of the good old days. The setup felt natural, and everyone was excited about its amazing look. I love that we can send messages quickly without the need for emails, and everyone can see them, which we really love. Also, Slack doesn't use too much computer memory, which makes it fast and doesn't lag. I also love being able to send pictures, change things up, and use emojis.

Slackbot should automatically choose the channel specified for collaboration and schedule the call.

I have the possibility to have multiple workspaces in the same place. I like the fact I can have multiple channels, each one with a different purpose, in addition the ability of having private and public channels helps me to have the appropriate audience depending on the conversations I need to have, as a Tech Lead that allows me to focus on what I need to focus.
The threads is another feature I like, compared with other tools, the experience is really smooth.
The search feature is another good one, it allows me to find conversations back in history that allow me to track decisions that were taken days ago in order to argument new decisions.

Given the fact that I work in an environment where pair-programming is a must, I really miss the remote control feature, without that, the screen sharing is a tool that I use mainly for short meetings, but for pairing, is something that, if I can avoid, I avoid it.

I find Slack easy to use and it offers so many features that it has the potential to become the go-to office OS. I think the new lists and canvas features are really great, and we now use it as a project management tool. The ability to manage projects within the lists, creating tickets using a Kanban view, is very helpful, so now we don't need a separate project management tool. I also appreciate the great automations in place that make things easier. On top of that, Slack integrates with almost everything, which is fantastic since we have so many integrations in place.

I like that you can use text, video and voice notes and that voice notes have CC captions on them. Integrating to Jira, Figma and HubSpot means that I can stay in one app the whole time. I don't pay for the platform as this is done by my company so I cannot comment on this, but I know that Slack AI was an exceptional add-on as the huddles, which are a great functionality for quick chats on phone or laptop had notes and transcripts. Very easy to go back and review.

That you can only utilise Slack AI (high price for the add-on) and not use other AI integration tools. I know that you can now chat with Claude, but if I wanted to use another tool to generate transcripts or notes, this is not possible. The speed is a big win for me. Quick questions get quick answers, reactions replace unnecessary replies, and decisions don’t drag on for days. At the same time, it doesn’t force real-time pressure, you can respond when you’re ready.

Slack mainly solves the problem of scattered communication, and that’s what benefits me most. Before Slack, conversations were spread across emails, meetings, texts, and different tools, so information got lost, responses were slow, and context was often missing. Slack brings all of that into one shared space, where conversations are searchable, transparent, and connected to specific topics or teams.

Slack is basically the heartbeat of our agency now. The UI is super intuitive, and setting up custom channels for different clients takes seconds. The "Huddles" feature is an absolute godsend - whenever a text thread gets too confusing, we just jump on a quick audio huddle, sort it out in 2 minutes, and get back to work. Also, the integrations are flawless. Hooking it up with Google Drive, Jira, and Figma means we rarely have to leave the app.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

It gets insanely noisy if you don't manage your notifications properly. It’s easy to get distracted by random chatter in the general channels. Also, their pricing scales up pretty aggressively for growing teams. Lastly, the search function can be a bit "meh" - trying to find a specific PDF someone dropped in a thread three months ago is sometimes impossible.

I feel there's a few things that Microsoft Teams does better. Teams integrates much better with their Outlook platform, especially calendar handling. I can favorite some of the channels, and that's really helpful. The AI search feature is pretty amazing as it works well when searching for past discussions, making it easy to find what I was looking for. It's also nice that I can start channels at the top and manage notifications by turning them on or off. The threading feature is very beautiful, as it simplifies understanding discussions by keeping everything in one thread. Slack's integration with tools like Playwright automation, Google Calendar, and Google Drive is pretty good too. Plus, the initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes when I have a bit slow internet connection, Slack is not loading up and it just asks me to restart it, which doesn't always work. Another thing is the notification issue on mobile. Even when the notifications for channels are turned on, I don't receive them on my mobile device. This has made me miss some important notifications that were specifically for me. It's pretty hard to figure out what notifications Slack will send to the mobile and which ones it will not send. Also, when updating something, Slack redirects me to the browser instead of having an in-app interface. It's not a good process to have to log in through the browser and then come back to the Slack app. It should be within the app itself.
