**What do you like best about Slack?**

I enjoy the social aspect of communicating with colleagues and like having all my client channels and teams together in one place within Slack, so we can collaborate effectively. I also like that you can integrate apps for workflows and automation, which is useful for quickly updating tasks and collecting data. Slack makes it easier to reach people and get information quickly, and I found the initial setup of Slack to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would love to face more integration options and improved built on AI that doesn’t come at extra costs.

I use Slack to communicate with my company and clients, share updates, and collaborate. It's easier to reach people, gather information, and integrate apps for workflows. It streamlines communication, automates tasks, and helps with data collection.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is very easy to use and has a lot of emojis. I use it every day to provide support to my team, as well as to some customers and partners. It’s also easy to implement and integrate for new agents, and it works really well for providing customer support whenever it’s needed.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the group chats don’t load properly, and some meetings can be a bit buggy—especially when it comes to sound.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us communicate within the organization by sharing document updates and other relevant information. We also use it as a knowledge base, where we store templates and frequently asked questions so our agents can easily access them. It keeps the group engaged and connected across different shifts. In addition, we use it to document 1:1 sessions as well as QA sessions.
It created a unified workplace as we are chatting with developers, our sales team and customer support team all together.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is an absolute must for most companies. It allows for quick communication, easy file sharing (even large video files!), and disbursement of information. You can set up channels based on specific groups, which makes it easy to share information with just those needed. Pin files or messages to the channel, making it easy to find them later. There is an awesome feature where you can "remind me later" and then set a time when you want Slack to remind you about it. Or "save for later" where you can take messages and use them to create a to-do list that can be marked complete when done. You can even use different Slack accounts and easily navigate between the accounts to keep items separated. i.e. an internal Slack account with your company and another account with other companies that you do business with (clients, vendors, etc.)  You can DM a specific person or smaller team. And of course, there is the integration of gifs, emoticons, photos etc which help keep communication fun! Our agency uses this everyday, all day.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Oftentimes communication can move very quickly if you have a large number of people in a channel. Messages could get easily lost in the conversation. However, with the new integrations of the save for later and remind me, this is helping to manage that issue.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication! Being that we have employees around the globe and working from home, this makes communication so easy. File sharing is quick and easy. Even large files are sent without compression, clogging inboxes or exceeding file size limits. Plus, with the integration features with Google Drive, Fellow, Asana it allows us to easily link to tasks, drives, files and more with a nice preview function. If there is an issue where not everyone in the group has access to the file, it will let you know and easily adjust permissions in Slack.

How it has cross platform integration and how easy it is to automate the status updates which are performed over other platforms, as we are using it with clickup right now.

sometimes it becomes tedious to find the channel which concern the same task/objective/client discussion group as the channels get aligned usually basis on the recency of the update given or reply received.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving major 2 things. 1. The centralisation of multiple tasks, so that I do not need to juggle continuously over platforms to get the grasp of movements over tasks. 2. I can directly reply and update the pendencies basis on the platform channel as it is mentioned separately over slack other than messages.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

As an Executive Assistant supporting consulting and client-based projects, I use Slack daily to coordinate work across multiple teams and time zones. We rely heavily on project channels and client-specific channels so discussions stay organized instead of scattered across email.

One of the biggest advantages for us is the Salesforce integration. Notifications for new opportunities, task updates, and follow-ups appear directly in Slack so I can immediately assign or clarify actions with the team without opening multiple systems. This significantly speeds up response time for client requests.

Threads help keep decisions tied to the original message, especially when leadership, delivery teams, and operations are all involved in the same project. I also frequently use search to retrieve past agreements, project instructions, and shared files instead of asking colleagues again.

Overall it acts as our operational command center rather than just a chat tool.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

During busy projects, notifications can get overwhelming and messages pile up quickly if I step away for a while. Even when something isn’t directed to me, I still get notified and end up checking it, which breaks focus and eats up time. I usually mute channels or set reminders to manage it. Important updates can also get buried when multiple conversations happen at once, especially if people don’t consistently use threads.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Slack, we relied on Microsoft Teams, and conversations were harder to keep in context and scattered across different threads, which made follow-ups slower. Now most discussions live in one place, and it’s easier to share documents, updates, and decisions within the right channel. I can track approvals and action items without chasing people individually. It speeds up coordination, reduces repeated questions, and helps projects keep moving even when teammates are in different time zones.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack because it is just so easy to use. Each and every feature seems like it has been enhanced in a way that no other software can easily replace it. The tagging system is great because we can tag people and easily navigate through each group. I have over 150 projects, and the navigation is really easy. One of the best features is the ability to swipe through all the tags if someone has tagged me or if there is a post related to me. Slack has a feature that allows me to swipe back and check for messages I might have missed, which is really helpful. This has been really beneficial for me, especially when I discover that I've missed an important message after a few days. I can just swipe and find it. Another great thing is that Slack is easily integrated into nearly all software and CRMs, which I find very useful because I use it everywhere for my office purposes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes there's not enough customization related to when it should show us automatically active. There are some options available, but I think there should be more customizations. The setup was a little complicated, and it's not that easy to use. It takes some time to get used to it, especially for new team members, because of the learning curve.

Slack makes it easy to navigate groups for my work, handle over 150 projects, and use tags effectively. The feature to swipe and catch missed messages is really helpful for completing tasks accurately.

I really like Slack's ease of usability. It's great how everything gets synchronized easily when dropping messages or sharing files. Communicating across different channels and subchannels is very straightforward and organized, so it's hard to get confused. The responsiveness and speed of Slack make it an excellent tool for our team.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications are missed when a new update is pushed. This kind of destroys and delays and costs a lot in ROI. Notifications can be lost not because of any misconfigured settings or some actual bug at the end, but it generally happens when Slack tries to update. Over time, Slack becomes buggy, or when a new feature is pushed, sometimes old features break. The dependency on Slack is a lot, and that becomes a real challenge.

I use Slack for real-time communication across multiple time zones, both internally and with clients. It integrates with various tools, keeps everything organized, and replaces sluggish email and less responsive platforms.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

The user interface of Slack is easy to navigate and use. Likewise, the integrations for receiving notifications from other 3rd-party tools work nicely. In terms of performance, it’s quite wonderful to use on both mobile and desktop; the two views feel optimized and give you what you need. I haven't experienced any downtime in a very long time.

For the pricing tier, it’s kind of on the high end for some regions. It’s good enough overall, but I still think it should be cheaper in certain regions compared to others. For support and onboarding, it’s quite easy. They provide easy and quick help. As for the AI intelligence, I haven’t really used it yet, so I can’t say much about it.

The abstraction of channels is not tiered well enough, with a little bit of expertise, one can navigate into channels that were not intended for them to be in. The notification freezes sometimes on mobile.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the user interface; it's very straightforward to use. I appreciate how you can organize chats with different team members and create channels. I also like the integrations Slack has with Google Drive and Google Workspace, which are very handy when we need to share documents with the team. What I like most about Slack is that it is universal in terms of accessibility. I can easily access it on my phone, home computer, work computer, through a web-based browser, or through the app; it's all very conveniently accessible.

I think if you're coming from a different app experience, like Teams or Zoom, there could be a bit of a learning curve. I feel like for new users of Slack, there could be better tutorials on how to best make use of it. A lot of it, I had to sort of figure out on my own.

I love how integrations bring updates from other tools into one place, reducing context switching. The async-friendly communication is a major plus, as it cuts down on meetings and supports remote work. Quick messaging really speeds up problem-solving and helps maintain a low-friction communication culture. The transparency feature improves team alignment. Using Slack alongside tools like Asana, JIRA, Google Drive, Zoom, Google Calendar, Zendesk, or Salesforce makes it even more powerful, seamlessly integrating with our workflow. I get notification overload, which can be really overwhelming. There's message overload, too, which makes it hard to keep track of important info. Sometimes, threads can get confusing, especially when conversations get lengthy or diverge. The search feature has its limitations, which makes finding certain messages or files a bit tricky. There’s still quite a bit of context switching, and it's not ideal as a long-term knowledge base because information can easily get buried.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack is my go-to app for seamless work collaboration in my office. I love the organized channels and seamless app integration. The Huddle feature stands out because it allows for quick informal audio calls without setting up a meeting invitation or sharing links. I also appreciate app alerts from Google Calendar, Git, and other custom apps as they prevent frequent context-switching between apps. The initial setup was seamless and easy, with options to create multiple workspaces for different departments in the company. The Slack Connect feature is useful for inviting others. Onboarding others on Slack was seamless and smooth even as we grew from 30,000 to 70,000 people. Slack is definitely a great communication and collaboration tool for mid-large enterprises and good for keeping track of things in a single place.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The one feature that I think can be improved is the thread feature, although it is great for keeping the channels clean, it often leads to hidden conversations if I am not explicitly mentioned and hence I miss the entire decision-making process happening inside the thread. It should be improved by summarizing the thread, which shall only be visible to me or the user who needs to respond to the thread.

What I like most about Slack is how easy it makes staying connected with my team. I don't have to send long emails or wait for replies. Everything happens in messages, and it feels fast and natural. I also like how channels keep things organized. If I want to check something related to a project, I just open that channel, and everything is there. The search works well too, so even old messages are easy to find. It saves me time because I don't get lost in different apps. I can send files, text someone, or hop on a quick call all from the same place.

One thing I don't like is that messages can pile up really fast. If I'm away for a few hours, catching up sometimes feels a bit trying. Notifications can also get overwhelming unless I adjust them. Another small issue is that the app feels heavy when I have many channels open. Sometimes it takes a moment to load older messages or search results. Not a major problem, but a thing I notice during daily use.

Slack solves the problem of scattered communication. Before using it, my work messages were spread across email, WhatsApp, and random calls. It was hard to track what was said where. With Slack, everything stays in one spot. I don't lose information anymore. It helps me stay organized without putting in extra effort. It also makes teamwork smoother. If someone needs help, they just message the channel, and whoever is free replies. There's less waiting, less confusion, and fewer repeated questions. Sending files or code snippets is quick, so work moves faster. It keeps me connected with my team even when I'm working from home or moving around. It saves me time because I don't have to switch between different apps to talk to people. Everything I need is already inside Slack, so my workflow feels smoother. It also helps reduce misunderstandings. Since messages stay in the channel, everyone sees the same information, and nothing gets lost between private chats. Another thing iis that keeps me focused is If I'm working on one project, I check only that project's channel and avoid unnecessary distraction. It also helps me remember decisions. Instead of trying to recall what someone said on a call, I just scroll up and reread the conversation. Sharing small updates becomes easier too. I don't need to write a long explanation; a short message is enough, and the team gets it right away. It helps my team members catch up faster. They can read the past message and understand what's going on without asking a lot of questions. It makes teamwork feel more connected. Even if everyone is working from different places, Slack makes it feel like we're in the same room.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like the interface of Slack and the functionalities it offers. By using public and private channels in Slack, we can organize our teams, groups, and projects. I also like that group chats can be muted when outside of work hours. I find threads appealing, and the best part is that it supports emojis, which makes messages more impactful.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Yes, so the thing is that we can improve the fee functionality for granting access to public channels a bit more. Plus, the part about collaboration with external organizations or the path of shared channels can be made better by making it more security encrypted. That's the only thing that can be improved.

Sometimes so many options feel confusing, maybe some more intuitive navigations and tagging system would help our non-technical teams to also leverage all the benefits of Slack!

Slack’s automations and overall flexibility have actually helped me automate my work. I have been using Slack for 2.5 years now, and I’ve found it very convenient. It includes features to add Google Drive, Gmail, and Calendar, which helps me stay updated. The channel templates help you build a good, informative space, and it’s also useful because you can edit and delete messages, or reply to a single message without starting a new chain. **What do you like best about Slack?**

I have been using Slack for my team communication for years now. It has a very friendly and fresh UI, and the UX is pretty easy, which can be easily learnt by anyone. Channels are a great strength of Slack, which keeps everybody well connected, both for remote and office set-up work. 

I have literally integrated most of my tools with Slack for easy tracking and notifications, like Google Drive, Google Calendar, Jira, Notion, Zoom, and the list goes on. The Performance is pretty good, no lag, and quite fast for huddles and conversations. I have never come across any troubleshooting problems with Slack, which has led me to reach out to the support team, but I strongly believe Slack would be amazing there.

The AI is not used much, but I will try for sure. Unlike email chains that get buried, Slack makes conversations searchable and contextual.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The biggest challenge with Slack is information overload. In very active workspaces with multiple channels, notifications can become overwhelming if they are not managed properly. People kind of start creating channels for everything and everyone.

Recently, I have noticed minor issues in Huddle screen sharing where the entire screen gets blacked out, then I have to restart again the huddle to get it fixed.

However, the AI features may not be the best in terms of supporting me to understand what's going on. For support, I'm not sure if that actually really helps, because if there is a question, I actually have to ask my IT admins in the company instead of asking Slack.

I really don't think the AI stuff is working at all. It does not summarize sufficiently about what I need to know per channel. There should be an AI for me to help me organize information into different categories or folders related to different projects or topics. For save for future or later functions, I think numbering everything into one single part doesn't make sense at all. Again, I need categories in order to find information as soon as possible instead of scrolling back and forth.

I find Slack incredibly helpful for solving the friction of internal communication with its ease of sharing files and the ability to use multiple channels for including various stakeholders in one single chat. I really appreciate the natural language query feature, which allows us to get reports or add artifacts directly in the chat interface. Workflows in Slack are quite good, and the trigger system and notification alerts work smoothly. I love the minimal and smooth interface; it's so sticky and addictive that I actually get annoyed whenever I see anyone using Teams. Visually and comfort-wise, Slack makes me really happy and delighted. Slack is my most used product every day because of my work, which requires a lot of communication.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack has been a really great communication tool in my experience, especially compared to other apps in the market. It’s very flexible and handles large group channels smoothly. I particularly like the channel threads they help keep different topics organized so conversations don’t get confusing.

Starting a group chat is also quick and easy; you can simply find people and begin chatting right away. The status feature is another thing I appreciate, setting away or other statuses is fast and very user-friendly. Overall, Slack feels simple to use while still being powerful for team collaboration.Huddles are also very useful because we can quickly start a call or small meeting without scheduling.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing I don’t like is the notification behavior. If a notification is received on my mobile app while I’m working on the desktop, I sometimes don’t get the same notification on the desktop. Because of this, I occasionally miss some messages.

Apart from this issue, my overall experience with Slack is still very good.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of scattered workplace communication by keeping chats, files, and discussions in one place. Channels and threads organize conversations by topic, making it easy to follow and find information later.

For me, it helps me communicate quickly with teammates, get faster responses, and avoid unnecessary meetings. Huddles are especially useful because we can start quick calls or small meetings instantly. Overall, it saves time and improves team coordination.

I appreciate Slack's ability to set specific channels and create group DMs, which is crucial for our team to stay organized and on-task. The search function on a granular level is like a second brain, remembering everything ever discussed on Slack, even from deactivated users. This feature has saved us many times by providing reminders and details about properties, homeowners, or guests when needed. Moreover, the fact that Slack constantly makes innovative updates and keeps the tool user-friendly is impressive. The initial setup was fairly easy, and adding channels after setup is also very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

There's really nothing I don't like about it. It even has fun seasonal badges you can put next to your username to add levity to our jobs.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our short-term rental property management company, Slack helps us communicate effectively in a communal setting, keeping everyone in the loop. Specific channels help us stay organized and on-task. Group DMs allow private conversations, and granular search acts like a second brain, recalling important discussions. The Remind Me and Later features are also very helpful in making sure we complete all tasks.

I find Slack very easy to use. I also appreciate that I can link other apps and tools for smoother workflows, which requires less time to navigate between multiple tools to do a specific task. For instance, getting notified in Slack if someone tags me in a comment on Shopify saves a lot of time and works similarly with other tools. We started with the basic free plan and as our team grew, we switched to the paid version and added the Shopify integration. The integration options make Slack valuable for streamlining my work processes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

If you have multiple notifications, it's easy for requests to get buried under new messages since there are no native open/close status as a message. To improve notification management in an ecommerce environment, Slack could benefit from moving away or have an option to change from a chronological list and toward an operational dashboard. In a fast-paced setting where you're juggling Shopify alerts, Gorgias tickets and internal team coordination, the current all or nothing notification style often leads to alert fatigue.

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really like Slack for its simplicity and how it quickly improves team communication. The channel-based structure makes it easy to organize discussions by project or team, so everything stays clear and easy to follow. Using Slack in my previous organization made day-to-day collaboration much easier compared to emails, especially for quick discussions and updates. It helped reduce dependency on emails for internal communication and made it much easier to get quick updates from team members without waiting for long email threads. Additionally, using Slack along with Box in our organization was helpful for sharing and accessing files directly within conversations, which made collaboration easier. The initial setup of Slack was quite easy for our team as well.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One area where Slack could improve is message search—sometimes it’s difficult to quickly find older conversations, especially when there are many channels and messages. Better filtering options would help—like easily narrowing results by date range, specific channels, or file types. Additionally, notification management has room for improvement.

I love many things about Slack. The third-party apps and extensions available for integration are fantastic, like integrating Linear and Google Calendar into Slack. It notifies me instantly about meetings in my Google Calendar which I might miss. Adding tasks or marking any task in Linear through Slack adds great convenience, allowing updates and task creation directly within Slack. The Huddl feature is also very useful, letting me share screens and present ideas easily. It's really feature-rich and helps me manage my workflow efficiently. Also, setting up Slack was very easy for our team, and it's really convenient to manage multiple groups. It's a great platform, especially for a startup company.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I find the experience of the Slack application pretty basic, lacking animations or richer experiences for devices with good specs. There's room for improvement in adding more animations and fluidity. Also, during Huddles, I sometimes face audio issues like latency and voice break, which could be improved.

I would like to see an easier way to flag messages for my own personal review. It can be difficult to go back and find information that you know exists. The ability to take notes would be helpful and would make Slack a more comprehensive tool.

The collaboration piece is essential. It allows for immediate communication, but also offers scheduled messaging to ensure nothing is missed. It makes working in an organization much simpler and more collaborative. I used Slack for team chat, especially during the pandemic when office attendance was almost zero. It became a central place for my organization to manage daily calls, quick team chats, and media and file sharing, acting as a good digital facilitator tool during the lockdown. I liked it most as a messenger. The calls and media sharing features were good facilities. The daily standup calls and virtual meetings saved a lot of time and cost. I also liked the built-in Canva collaboration feature since meeting agendas and notes were managed well during calls, eliminating the need for additional diaries.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The initial setup of Slack was tricky, and I had to read some blogs to manage it. AI features like agents creation could enhance Slack and make it more competitive with industry leaders. Additionally, it would be great if Slack was more cost-efficient and had improved offline functionality. Due to cost concerns, I switched to using Zoom and Microsoft Teams, where I also get benefits like Office 365 integration.
