The best part of Slack is its seamless integration with other workplace tools like Google Drive and Jira. Additionally, its powerful search history makes it incredibly fast to find past files, shared links, and older conversations. Slack also provides an intuitive user interface that makes real-time collaboration effortless for remote teams. Features like huddles, quick emoji reactions, and direct messaging keep our daily workflow smooth, highly interactive, and easy to stay on top of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Frequent alerts and unmanaged channel activity break my concentration and disrupt deep work. Alerts can behave inconsistently across devices, with huddle notifications sometimes missing, and once an alert is opened it can be hard to track down again. On top of that, the strictly chronological chat feed makes it difficult to retrace steps, follow project decisions, or recover important context after dozens of newer messages have piled up.
