I like how Slack organizes everything into channels and threads, so project conversations stay easy to follow. It’s simple to use, search is quick, and integrations with Jira, Google Drive, and other tools bring updates into one place. Huddles and AI summaries save me time every week. Calls connectivity and overall its best for team connections. Performance is great while doing tasks. Its also not expensive as compared to its competitor also support and resolution by their IT team is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notifications: In busy workspaces with lots of channels, notifications get overwhelming. Even after customizing settings, important messages get buried under less relevant ones. This means I sometimes miss key updates or spend extra time scrolling through long threads to catch up. A smarter priority filter, one that automatically surfaces direct mentions and urgent messages, would help a lot.
Search: On larger workspaces, finding older messages and files can be slow and doesn’t always return the most relevant results. This costs time when I need to track down a past decision or document. Better filters (by date, channel, or file type) and more accurate ranking would improve it.
Pricing: Paid plans become expensive as the team grows, and the free plan’s limited message history is restrictive. This makes it harder to justify for smaller teams. More flexible pricing tiers or a longer history on lower plans would be a welcome change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
