What I like best about Slack is how effectively it centralizes team communication and reduces reliance on long email threads. The channel-based structure keeps project discussions organized and transparent, allowing teams to stay aligned without losing context. Additionally, the seamless third-party app integrations mean we get critical notifications and updates directly in our workspace, significantly reducing context-switching throughout the day. The primary challenge with Slack is managing notification volume and avoiding message fatigue. In larger teams or busy channels, critical updates can quickly get buried under casual conversations or multi-thread replies. Thread tracking can also feel slightly disjointed when multiple discussions happen simultaneously within the same channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
