What do you like best about Slack?

I like the Threads feature the most. Work chats can get pretty messy when everyone is replying to different things, and threads make it much easier to keep track of a particular discussion without filling up the main channel with replies. I also like being able to go back to a thread and catch up on what I missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One thing I find a little frustrating about Slack is that when there are too many channels and ongoing conversations, it can be easy to miss important messages. Notifications can also get overwhelming, especially when multiple discussions are active at the same time. It would be helpful to have better ways to prioritise important messages and manage notifications without missing updates that actually need my attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack makes it much easier to stay connected with my team without having to rely on emails for every small update. We use it to discuss tasks, share updates, ask quick questions and keep conversations around specific topics in one place. It saves time because I can get a response quickly instead of waiting for an email, and threads help me follow discussions without losing track of the main conversation.
