What I like most about Slack is its clean, intuitive interface and the way it’s organized. It makes client communication much easier. Tracking which requests are still pending with a client is simple, because one dedicated channel keeps everything in one place: conversations, files, and updates. There’s no digging through long email threads.
It’s the best platform I’ve used for collaborating with clients, their teams, and others working on a similar project. Everyone stays on the same page, and work moves faster.
If you’d like, I can also make a shorter version for a review site’s character limit, or a more formal one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notifications can get overwhelming, especially when you’re in several client channels at once. Important messages are easy to miss among the constant pings, and it takes some effort to set up notification preferences so you aren’t distracted all day.
Older messages and files can also be hard to find. Search works, but in busy channels, past requests and decisions get buried over time. The free plan limits message history, so you may need a paid plan to keep a full record of client conversations.
Threads help keep conversations organized, but they’re easy to overlook if people reply in the main channel instead, and that can make it harder to follow a discussion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
