**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

I love the different color options in Sketchbook as they make me more expressive with my art and help bring my artwork to life. It's also great that I can use it across my mobile devices because a lot of other software doesn't allow me to be as creative. Plus, setting it up was very easy for me since I just had to download the app, and being familiar with it made navigating around it simple.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

What could be improved is, like, the different brush sizes and, like, the usability, you know, because, like, I have to select from the brush sizes, and, like, that could have been more intuitive.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sketchbook because it integrates well with my tablet and mobile devices, allowing for more creativity compared to other software.

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

Really, Sketch Book can be used for everything from simple art to graphic design and more. It’s pretty much a must-have.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

The only thing I would say is that the pen feature doesn’t have many options.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really depends on your day-to-day needs, but for me it’s beneficial. I use the overlay to align coins—like double dies—and try to match them as closely as possible.

  ### 3. Professional-Grade Drawing Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalia C. | Internship Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

The best feature is combining professional‑grade digital drawing tools with a clean, distraction‑free interface that feels natural.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

The biggest drawback is the lack of advanced features found in full creative suites, like strong photo editing, animation, or asset management.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It translate tradicional drawing skills into the digital space in an intituitivem fast and natural drawing environment

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

I like that it has lots of good brushes that you can organize easily for quick use and that you can download the images to PSD for free.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

It’s mostly for drawing so the photo manipulation part of the app is not so good. Also, the paid version could have more features.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a nice lightweight app to draw on the iPad or on my cellphone. I especially like the watercolor brushes.

  ### 5. Best for quick edits

  ### 7. The power of Sketchbook to visualize my ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tourian A. | Psychology Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

The main advantage of Sketchbook is its ease of use. What I like most are the various brush designs that allow me to recreate everything from diagrams and visual representations of psychological concepts to diagrams of mental processes and engaging teaching material for presentations. In addition, the support for touch input and stylus use offer an almost identical experience to traditional drawing!

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

The editing tools, while useful, may fall short for projects that require more image manipulation. It shines in creation, but not so much in post editing.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to think that creating detailed and adaptive graphics for my studies involved a laborious process, but with Sketchbook I can produce complex schematics and renderings in minutes. Sketchbook has a user-friendly interface that strikes a good balance between simplicity and efficiency.

  ### 8. I use Sketchbook for Teacher Lessons

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marianne G. | Feralartist, Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

I like being able to design lesson covers on the iPad. I can also write my lessons in text and add visuals. It is usually very easy.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

The hardest thing for me in Sketcbook is writing text. You have to write line by line and then add. There is only a small little box where you compose your text. The problem is in adding text, and getting each line to look like it is in a paragraph. It tends to wobble when adding it to the main page, and can be off by a few degrees. It is also hard to keep the text in the same size font, as it tends to increase or decrease depending on how you move it from the composition box to the main body.

**Recommendations to others considering Sketchbook:**

It has basic features and a layering and import tool which I find quite exciting.
The animation looks interesting and I have yet to try it out.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sketchbook makes it easy for me to compose art lessons, page by page.

  ### 9. Best drawing app with potential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hazel P. | Freelance Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

Ive been using this for 3 years and its the most convenient and easiest to use app for sketching and designing. Plus the free tools to use are enough to make an amazing artwork. You dont need to spend so much money to be able to use it.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

As an artist, the filling part is a bit an inconvenience for me cause it doesnt fully fill the solid shape. You will still see the outline and go thru another fill to fully fill up the solid shape.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost and ease of use. The fact that you can use pretty much everything for free, i also like the ease of usage. Its very simple to use yet it has so much potential that can possibly reach the level of procreate.

  ### 10. Nice sketch application that has room for improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ira Mae R. | Senior Research Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Sketchbook?**

It allows me to make sketches, digital drawings and paintings. I particularly love it because it works well with samsung's SPEN and you can really create mind blowing images using this app. It has a lot of brush selections and the color pallette is very flexible. It is also very user friendly and does not really require special trainings.

**What do you dislike about Sketchbook?**

In terms of brush flexibility, normally, if you use a brush physically, you are able to twist it or move it around. Just like using a "broad marker", the output usually depends on how you position the tip of the pen, sketchbook does not address that making it hard do recreate certain strokes in paintings and drawings.

**What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It let's me make digital drawings with ease. The adjustable brush sizes and strength makes the experience and execution a lot easier. The undo function also makes you more confident to draw since you know that you can always go back if you make some mistakes and it won't leave any marks.
