What do you like best about Simulink Real-Time?

The best thing about Simulink Real-Time is its ability to let me tune parameters and monitor system behavior while the model is running on real hardware. It also automatically generates code from the pre-defined Simulink models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simulink Real-Time?

Sometimes the software buffers and takes a long time to load. A running process may stop in between, and we have to restart it. Although, it happens less frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Simulink Real-Time solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simulink Real-Time is mainly solving the problem of testing control systems and algorithms in a real-time environment. Normally, simulations in Simulink give us theoretical results, but they don’t always show how a system will behave with actual hardware timing, delays, and real-world signals. For me as an electronics engineering student, this is very beneficial because I have certain projects where I need to test control algorithms and verify their performance on real hardware.
