What do you like best about Simulations Labs?

I recently hosted a CTF using SimulationLabs and honestly, it was way easier than I expected. Setting everything up was straightforward, I didn't have to spend forever configuring servers or worrying about infrastructure breaking mid-competition, which was a huge relief. What really impressed me during the event was their cheating detection. I could actually see it flagging suspicious activity and potential flag sharing, so I didn't have to constantly watch the scoreboard paranoid that someone was gaming the system. But the game-changer for me was the individual instances for each player. In past CTFs I've run, there's always that one person who crashes a shared service or someone complains about not being able to access a challenge because it's overloaded Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Simulations Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?

Honestly, SimulationLabs saved me from the three things I was most worried about when hosting my CTF. The infrastructure setup was always going to be a mess—spending days configuring servers, constantly checking if things would crash, basically becoming a full-time sysadmin. They handled all of that for me, so I could actually focus on making decent challenges instead of babysitting servers. The cheating detection was another huge weight off my shoulders. I wasn't sitting there refreshing the scoreboard every five minutes wondering if someone was passing around flags or if the scores were even legit. And the individual instances? That was probably my favorite part. No more dealing with someone's script accidentally nuking a challenge for everyone else, or half the players complaining they can't connect because a service is overloaded. Everyone had their own setup, so it was just... fair. SimulationLabs basically let me run the event I wanted without spending all my time stressed about the technical stuff breaking or people cheating.
