Simpro has made everyone accountable from the very beginning, from the lead and quote stage all the way through to collecting the final payment for the job. It took some adjustment for everyone here, but it was truly needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve moving from QuickBooks Desktop to Simpro has been steep. In QuickBooks, you can adjust almost anything at any time. With Simpro, the initial importing is confusing, and when you go back later to try to fix issues, it feels like it gets even worse.
For example, why weren’t we told during training to use the initial import feature in the accounting link? It’s also the small things that add up, like why sites default to customer rates. Most of the time, the sites are in different towns, so the tax rates aren’t correct unless they’re manually updated. Then, after manually updating, you might get a prompt like, “Do you wish to save the current tax rate to this site for future transactions?” It’s just little things like that. why cant the accounting link be automatic or on a timer of some sort, instead of manually running it?
