I have gotten insights into general strategy for my subject of work that I have not been able to achieve in my own research / attempts at emulating competitor strategy or areas of interest through my own searches.
The Similarweb UI & UX is simple enough for me to open a report I am not familiar with and quickly get up to speed. This is immensely helpful when my teammates share out reports.
The integrations are straight forward. I am not really missing any. I am satisfied with performance; I've never had it crash or not load as expected.
For the cost, I think we certainly see a return. I do not manage the pricing/purchasing directly but when using the product, I have no questions of its worth or why my company would be using it. I do like it more than other products we use.
I've not needed much support in getting set up with the product. Its been straightforward. I haven't used the AI as much, but that is more because I need to explore those features more + have been getting sufficient insights just in my own use. But to get a higher level perspective of the market my work falls into, it is helpful. The ai more so gives me inspo on what I should look into. I like to use it as a prompt for my own analysis rather than referring to it to do analysis for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Specific to the UI, I do wish I could 1) close or hide the secondary menu on the right hand side. When navigating the first menu or dock on the left hand of the screen, any menu option I select than opens a secondary menu with more detailed options or reports. I tend to work off my laptop + pull up a separate tab side by side as I navigate various reports. That secondary menu takes up valuable screen space + makes it harder to see report information as I switch between tabs.
For Integrations, I don't find it intuitive to find a list of all available integrations. I find it easier to check the product I want to integrate with and seeing if it has an established integration.
For performance, sometimes when a report is retrieving little data I would like to better understand why.
For pricing, I'd like to better understand the associated costs of the advanced features. I thought the little crown symbol next to locked features meant they were an available AI feature, not a locked item.
I love the supportive reading guides linked in every report. As someone who is often jumping in to reports others have shared, I would love a higher level "best practices" guides on using similarweb overall. Not just like in a promotional way but most common high value use cases. Or maybe by role, how does a media buyer tend to use the product vs someone in ux optimization or competitive strategy? With so many report options, I am left with a strong feeling that I am "missing" something in my usage or maybe not getting the most out of it.
For the AI, I'd want it to less personalize to me - but instead prompt me to expand upon my usage more aligned with my peers or others in my industry. Again, best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
