I like that in Simcenter Femap, I can manually import, edit, and manipulate meshes directly. It's great for cleaning up geometry from SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX. The cleanup is very fast and can handle mid-surface extractions seamlessly. The initial setup was easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find it frustrating that I'm unable to make any major modifications in CAD without having to switch to a separate CAD software. The lack of direct CAD editing in Simcenter Femap makes the workflow less seamless than it could be. I really think it would be beneficial to integrate CAD directly and add a feature that allows geometry editing within the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
