Describe the project or task Signiant helped with:

We have extensive file transfer requirements with varying file sizes being sent to us. Our customers were experiencing issues with larger files (i.e. several GB in size) taking a long time, timing out, retries, etc. We brought in Signiant Media Shuttle to help with these use cases and the results were extremely better than what our current solution was providing. What do you like best about Signiant?

We are huge fans of the significantly reduced time to transfer large files. On the occasion where extremely large files (i.e. >= 1TB ) are transferred, it would take several hours however our previous solution would take several days (if it succeeded at all). Also, the "Auto Delivery" feature (licensed by Enterprise version) helps automate file transfers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Signiant?

Signiant uses non-standard ports to communicate, so sometimes it is difficult if customers need to make firewall changes to send us files via Signiant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Signiant solving and how is that benefiting you?

Large file transfers, whether to or from our organization, now use Signiant as the standard method. The use cases for Signiant continue to grow and it fits nicely into our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
