I like that it can crawl most news outlets that other media monitoring platforms can’t. It also crawls broadcast segments, which are sometimes needed for client requests. On top of that, I like the platform’s user-friendly interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform has some limitations when it comes to building searches. While it offers some solid search-building capabilities, there are still a few gaps. For example, you can’t use a NEAR/ operator like in other media monitoring platforms, which means you can’t search for keywords within a certain proximity to a brand’s name. You also can’t restrict a keyword based on capitalization. For instance, I can’t limit "Apple" to be written exactly that way, so the search will also return results that mention "apple". I understand that, in this case, we could use an AI entity for the company name, but not every company has an AI entity available (e.g. some smaller companies with ambiguous names). It would be helpful to have this option as a feature in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
