I cannot use birthdays from API due to HR/legal policies. The workaround works, but the file (of course) does not update as users are added, and I have to keep reuploading new files as we have new employees. Some really cool features are having the employee's name pronunciation, time zone and local time at the top of their page too. **What do you dislike about Sift?** When searching a colleague, if you select their Org Chart, there is no way to return to their Sift entry without clicking the browser back button, so this is not intuitive. It would also be a nice feature if we could change the banner image at the top of our Directory Card **What problems is Sift solving and how is that benefiting you?** As our organisation is growing rapidly and more remote staff are being employed on the team, Sift helps me find out what teams my new colleagues are on, what products they are supporting, and what they look like! **Official Response from Alyssa Burgol:** > Hi Bex! The banner image at the top of your profile can be changed, but your company admins might have turned this feature off. You can reach out to them through the Support form in the three-dot menu on the nav bar to learn more and see if this can be used again. As for the UX of a Search result to the Org Chart, we had opted to have the profile pop-up in another tab. While it's a little frustrating to go back to the Search results page by using the native browser buttons, you can click the search bar in the nav bar to see your most recent searched item, but it won't have saved any filters you might have applied. Sift has helped me incredibly in learning about various divisions, team members, and overall networking. I can use it to find a team member and reach out to schedule a shadow session to learn more about their role. It's easy to find others with similar interests to me with the search function. Previously, I used it maybe 3x a week to confirm roles within the organization as I saw a name in our programs, and now I'm using it at least once, sometimes twice a day! **What do you dislike about Sift?** It's difficult for me to pinpoint anything that I truly dislike about Sift. One thing that has recently been a challenge for me is that when a search is "highlighting" the same terms I used, it's almost invisible on the page. I'm sure that once I reach out to Support about it, they'll review the issue and will work to make it better. Sometimes when viewing the Org Chart, it's so expansive that I have trouble keeping up. It just takes a few click and drags to get me back to where I was looking. This tool helps me match personal interests with business interests so that gives me an additional point of discussion when reaching out. No problem, its in sift. **What do you dislike about Sift?** It would be nice to make it a requirement to upload a picture of yourself when creating the profile. We have had to chase some people up to get that done.
