"Sidekiq Pro for Background Job Processing"

What do you like best about Sidekiq Pro?

- It is reliable and we are using it for almost 8 years and we are very happy with its reliability.

- It provides APIs to interact with via Rails console

- It is super easy to setup and provides the necessary dashboard and monitoring tools

What do you dislike about Sidekiq Pro?

- In the past, we have faced an issue whereby our license was expired but we were not informed on time via any communication means by the Sidekiq pro team. We came to know about it only when trying to release a new feature in production. Hopefully, this has been addressed by now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Sidekiq Pro:

Sidekiq Pro has made our life so much easier and I highly recommend others to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sidekiq Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Most of our background processing jobs are being processed by Sidekiq pro. It includes receiving input, processing output and sending results back to the client. If a background processing job boundary is within the same sub-system we use Sidekiq. For cross subsystems async communication (event-driven architecture) we use message bus.
