I like that Shopify POS means I don’t need a separate POS system and that it reconciles with my website, making it easy to keep inventory correct. I can take card transactions directly from my phone without editing anything or using an extra POS device when customers tap. I also like being able to add discounts and custom items. Setup was as simple as logging into my Google account, and the more competitive POS options made it easy for me to switch over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’d like to be able to create and send actual invoices with a standard style, so clients who need them to write things off don’t have to follow up with me. I have to use a third-party app to get very robust invoices. Initially, Shopify POS only had a large unit that cost around $500–$600, though its POS options later became more competitive.
