## Shindig Reviews
 ### 1. Keeping Online Events and Participant Activities More Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

Shindig helps me manage online educational events and live sessions in a more organized way. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media, so I sometimes conduct nutrition awareness sessions, healthy lifestyle discussions, and educational events online. The platform feels easy to use, and setting up an event does not take much time, which made implementation smooth for my workflow. I use Shindig whenever I need to organize an online session or educational event. Features like event creation, event pages, participant management, browser-based joining, audience participation, event scheduling, and live discussions are useful for my work because they help keep sessions organized and easier to manage. It is helpful during health awareness sessions because participants can join easily and interact without a complicated setup.

Another thing I like is that event management, participant communication, scheduling, and session organization stay connected in one place, so handling online events feels more smooth during busy work days. The number of features is good without making the platform feel too complicated. Integration felt straightforward, and I have not needed customer support often. Overall, Shindig helps me manage educational events, participant communication, and online session related work in a more organized way.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

when managing larger events with many participants, keeping track of different interactions happening at the same time can sometimes require a little extra attention. Also event page editor feels a little dated compared to some newer platforms, It gets the job done, though creating and adjusting event pages can sometimes take extra time.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me solve the problem of organizing online educational events and participant interaction in one place. When conducting health awareness sessions or educational discussions, managing event access, participant communication, and live participation separately can sometimes feel unorganized.

With Shindig, I can create events, manage participants, schedule sessions, and handle audience interaction from one platform. This makes it easier to conduct nutrition awareness sessions, healthy lifestyle discussions, and other educational events without spending extra time coordinating different tools.

It also helps participants join sessions more easily and stay involved during discussions. Event scheduling and participant management are more organized, which helps reduce manual coordination before and during live sessions. Overall, Shindig helps me manage online events in a more organized way, save time, and keep educational sessions running more smoothly.

 ### 2. Enhances Training Efficiency, Needs Better Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nashat K. | Senior Quality Assurance & Compliance Engineer, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

My favorite parts are the interactive presentation features and consistently steady video when multiple team members join sessions. The native document sharing works really well for pulling up our compliance rules right during live training. I also find the permission settings straightforward to manage — this is really important for us, as we need to keep sensitive internal quality data secure while running cross-department ISO and VDE training events.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

I’ve run into issues when uploading larger compliance-related files, and regular documents sometimes mess up their formatting after being uploaded. On top of that, the audit logs are very limited. We rely on detailed records for ISO 9001 and VDE official audits, and the current system makes tracking training histories much harder than it should be. There’s also almost no customizable reporting functionality, which holds us back a lot with our daily quality and compliance tasks.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Shindig, our remote and on-site teams struggled to align during compliance briefings, and frequent on-site visits drove up travel expenses significantly. This platform fixes those communication gaps and cuts down travel costs noticeably. The interactive features keep employees engaged throughout training, and dependable video connectivity means remote staff can fully follow all regulatory requirements. Having all quality documents shared in one place also unifies our resources and makes routine QA and compliance workflows far smoother.

 ### 3. Revolutionizes Virtual Event Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subhajit B. | Devops Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

I appreciate Shindig's ability to replicate the social dynamics of in-person gatherings, moving beyond the typical passive 'webinar-style' experience of standard video conferencing platforms. I find Shindig's Virtual Green Room Management feature particularly effective, as it allows hosts to pre-screen attendees and prepare speakers, ensuring a smooth transition without the frequent 'can you hear me?' disruptions. The Patented Virtual Lobby is another standout feature that serves as a hub for attendees to network and access directories, keeping everyone engaged during breaks. Overall, Shindig's setup is easy and straightforward, which I really like.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

Steep Learning Curve: Many users report a significant learning curve, describing the interface as challenging for less tech-savvy participants or first-time users. Performance Issues at Scale: While effective for smaller meetings, some users report occasional lag, slow speed, or potential connectivity issues during large-scale events with hundreds or thousands of participants.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shindig addresses low engagement and 'webinar fatigue' by recreating the spontaneity of in-person events, enabling high-engagement events and eliminating passive experiences.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

The best thing about this Shindig platform is that it provides an effective virtual event experience, unlike other traditional webinar tools. This platform replicates the feel of attending an actual event, and also in understanding all the interactive features, which can take some time, and seating formats, speaker, and audience level kind of interactions. This platform is specifically effective for large-scale sessions to retain higher-level engagements among the attendees.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

This platform hassle is, it has a bit of a complex learning curve, specifically for the first time users and hosts. Setting up the events and understanding all their interactive features can take a bit of time. Also, hen compares eith the other tools, this platform feels a bit heavy even to run a basic level of webinars.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shindig helps me by solving the problem of dealing with low engagement in virtual events. Traditional webinars tend to be one way interaction . ### 5. High-Engagement Platform for Professional Collaborations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esraa Z. | Personal Banker

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

I use Shindig as a freelance finance professional to host interactive virtual sessions, which enhance how I deliver advisory, training, and collaborate on financial work. I appreciate how Shindig makes remote interactions feel more effective and closer to an in-person experience. It helps make interactions more natural and engaging, particularly when explaining complex concepts like financial models and valuations. Transitioning to Shindig from more traditional platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams provided me with a more interactive and engaging environment that fits my needs for active participation. The ease of getting started with the platform, at least from a technical standpoint, made accessing the main features straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

Its limited integration with finance tools; as someone who relies on tools like Excel and financial modeling platforms, deeper integration or smoother screen-sharing optimization for spreadsheets would significantly improve usability.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shindig solves the challenge of making virtual events interactive and engaging instead of one-way webinars. **What do you dislike about Shindig?**

 ### 10. Engagement-Driven Virtual Events, Minor Navigation Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bandy B. | Operations & GDPR Compliance Manager, Arts and Crafts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Shindig?**

I really appreciate how Shindig brings human interaction back to virtual events. Unlike typical webinar tools, it allows attendees to network, join small group conversations, and chat face-to-face, just like at an in-person event. The engagement tools are intuitive, not clunky, which means our attendees actually participate instead of just tuning out. I also like how smooth and reliable the platform is, even with larger audiences, as we've run multiple virtual events without major technical glitches or complicated setup headaches. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and the platform is intuitive enough that our event team could figure out most features just by exploring.

**What do you dislike about Shindig?**

A few of our less tech-savvy attendees mentioned the networking "room" navigation was slightly confusing at first — it takes a minute to figure out how to move between groups. The biggest challenge with the room navigation is that it’s not immediately obvious to first-time users how to move between networking rooms, main sessions, and small groups. A lot of our attendees weren’t sure whether they were in the main event, a breakout room, or a networking area — the labels and visual cues felt subtle. Some people hesitated to jump between rooms because they were worried they’d get lost or wouldn’t be able to find their way back to the main session. The flow just isn’t as straightforward as it could be for someone who’s only using it for the first time. As for improvements: Clearer, more visible buttons or tabs for switching between rooms. A simple onboarding tooltip or quick tour when attendees first join. A persistent “lobby” or “main stage” button that’s always visible. Better visual distinction between main sessions, breakouts, and networking zones.

**What problems is Shindig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Shindig to solve low-engagement issues in virtual events. It enhances interaction with networking and real conversations, moving away from passive viewing. It addresses low attendee engagement, lack of networking, and supports small group discussions.
