"Greater Visibility and Flexibility for Complex ShareGate Migrations"

5/5

What do you like best about ShareGate?

Compared to native Microsoft tools, ShareGate offers greater visibility, flexibility, and operational efficiency, making it an excellent solution for both large-scale and complex migration projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShareGate?

I have not encountered any major issues with ShareGate. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and provides the functionality needed for Microsoft 365 migration projects. While occasional migration warnings can occur due to Microsoft 365 backend processing delays, these are typically external to ShareGate and do not impact the overall effectiveness of the solution. Overall, my experience with the product has been very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ShareGate solving and how is that benefiting you?

ShareGate helps us streamline Microsoft 365 migration and content management projects by providing a reliable way to migrate SharePoint Online sites, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive accounts, and file shares while preserving metadata, permissions, and version history. It also simplifies pre-migration assessments, content restructuring, and post-migration validation through comprehensive reporting and monitoring.

The key benefit is reduced migration effort, improved accuracy, and greater confidence in project delivery. ShareGate enables us to complete migrations faster, minimize business disruption, and provide stakeholders with clear visibility into migration progress and outcomes, making large-scale Microsoft 365 migration projects more efficient and manageable.
