I use ServiceNow CPQ to automate all the configuration and pricing rules, which ensures everything is aligned before presenting a quote to the customer. I particularly like the way it connects product configuration with pricing and code generation, as it reduces my manual calculations and helps maintain pricing consistency. The product configuration rules, pricing and discount rules, and the guided configuration features are really useful, making it easier to work through complex product options. The configuration rules also help prevent incompatible or invalid combinations, while pricing rules ensure the code reflects the selected products and applicable discounts. These features make the system easier to use and reduce errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think ServiceNow CPQ can become difficult to manage when the product catalog and configuration rules get really complex. As the number of dependencies, pricing conditions, and product options increase, understanding why a particular combination or price has been generated might require some extra investigation. Managing and maintaining the rules could be made more intuitive, especially for users who aren't deeply familiar with the underlying CPQ setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
