With App Engine, there are two ways to migrate code from lower environment to higher environments, sometimes few things don't get capture in the published app report version, and it becomes hard to migrate those un-captured configurations since we can use either app report or update set option for migrating code. It starts to feel limiting when you go beyond simple use cases. While the low-code approach is great initially, more complex requirements often need scripting, which kind of defeats the purpose. There’s also a bit of a learning curve, especially around data structure and governance.
