What do you like best about Serrala?

What I like most about Serrala Autobank is the precise, automatic balancing logic with flexible search patterns and the integration of digital payment advices. Instead of manually searching for invoice numbers in the purpose field, the software reliably recognizes incomplete or deviating information and automatically matches it with the FBL5n. This has reduced our daily post-processing time in the transaction /HOAG/AKPP by several hours. Another unexpected advantage for us is how seamlessly the advice allocation works: The document is directly attached to the generated SAP-FI posting document, ensuring maximum transparency in daily business. What do you dislike about Serrala?

The least helpful aspect is the high system complexity, which poses a significant challenge, especially during the onboarding phase. Setting up and understanding the different rule sets, search patterns, and dependencies within the transactions has a steep learning curve and can quickly become frustrating at the beginning. If an automatic allocation fails, troubleshooting in the logs can sometimes be confusing, so without an experienced key user, one quickly reaches their limits. What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?

Serrala primarily addresses the challenge of quickly and accurately allocating customer payments to open items. Our system already achieves an excellent automation rate of 99%, which almost completely eliminates the error-prone and time-consuming manual search for invoice numbers. We benefit from massive time savings in daily business and a significantly accelerated book day processing, as the manual post-processing effort has been reduced to an absolute minimum.
