"Moved off Stripe Billing and stopped rebuilding invoices from scratch"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sequence?

I run finance at AiPrise, and we price identity and compliance checks on usage, with a minimum commitment and volume tiers that vary by customer. On Stripe Billing I was working that out by hand every month. Sequence models that in billing schedules, so usage events come in through the API and the invoice builds itself. A signed quote turns into the billing schedule, and sent invoices sync across to Rillet so I'm not re-keying anything into our accounting system. Stripe stays as our payment processor for collection and HubSpot holds the customer side, so it fits into the stack we already run. The team also listens to feature requests and acts quickly: we asked for PO numbers on sent invoices and bulk actions on drafts, and both have since shipped. They've been a real partner on how we price too. A lot of our customers commit to spend upfront and draw it down over the year, and the team has worked through that model with us directly and is building deeper native support for.
