What I like most about Semrush is how it brings so many useful SEO tools together in one place. I've mainly used it for keyword research, competitor analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve website rankings. The Keyword Magic Tool is particularly helpful for discovering relevant keywords and understanding their search volume and competition. I also find the competitor analysis features really useful because they give me a clearer picture of what's working for other websites. The interface is fairly easy to navigate once you get familiar with it, and the data helps me make better SEO decisions instead of relying on guesswork. Overall, it's a very practical tool for anyone working in SEO or digital marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I don't particularly like about Semrush is its pricing. While it offers a lot of useful features, the subscription can be quite expensive, especially for freelancers, students, or small businesses with limited budgets. Another issue I've noticed is that some of the keyword data and traffic estimates don't always match the actual results, so I sometimes need to cross-check them with other tools like Google Search Console. Also, although the platform is packed with features, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, particularly when you're still learning SEO. Some of the advanced tools take time to understand properly. I think Semrush is a great platform overall, but more affordable plans and a simpler experience for beginners would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
