For editing talking head videos, the text editor is very simple to use. Removing pauses, repeated phrases, restarts, etc. is very easy. The AI is very good at taking several large files and creating shorts, focusing on the best shots. I usually don't have to edit the result at all. I LOVE the fact that it works off my external hard drive where my clips live. It's SO much faster than working in the cloud like I had to do with Descript. The MCP works well with Codex. I'm still experimenting with Selects to create rough drafts of our longer travel vlog videos. This is a much more complex task than creating talking head or scripted videos. My suggestion to the team at Selects would be to post more on YouTube. It seems like they keep using the same podcast example in all their YouTube videos. If you want more people to buy Selects, show them what it's capable of in multiple video styles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
