A standout example is the Auto Shutdown for Warehouses feature: it’s a great addition that’s been easy to adopt and has already saved us a meaningful amount of money by reducing unnecessary warehouse runtime. **What do you dislike about Seemore Data?** The main downside is that navigation can be a bit confusing - there are many menus and feature areas, and it’s not always intuitive where a specific setting or capability lives. As the platform continues to expand, it can take extra time to remember where to go, which slows down day-to-day workflows. One improvement that would be really valuable is an AI assistant that can take a natural language request (for example, “show me warehouse spend last month by team” or “set up auto shutdown rules”) and either direct you to the right page with a link, or even pre-fill the relevant filters and configuration so you don’t have to hunt through menus and set everything up manually. **What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before using Seemore Data, we struggled to consistently identify cost optimization opportunities in our Snowflake environment and had limited visibility into how data flowed across tables, models, and teams. Optimization was mostly manual and reactive, and Snowflake’s native lineage capabilities weren’t sufficient for understanding real usage and dependencies at scale. With Seemore Data, we now get clear, actionable recommendations on how to optimize our data workloads, and in some cases those optimizations can be automated for us. This has directly helped reduce warehouse and compute costs and removed a lot of guesswork from cost management. In addition, Seemore’s lineage capabilities give us a much deeper and more reliable view of data dependencies than Snowflake alone, which has improved our confidence when making changes and significantly reduced the risk of breaking downstream consumers. ### 2. We appreciate the ability to manage license utilization and database optimization in a single location. Some of the auto-optimization features are very promising. The Seemore Data team is also incredibly helpful and responsive. Cost is also very reasonable. **What do you dislike about Seemore Data?** The platform is promising, but I can imagine some other teams overlooking the product due to its nascency. This isn't really a problem for us, but the product's "youth" shines through from time to time. **What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** E2E observability is really the main thing. This means we are still required to switch between the various platforms in order to effectively manage our data therefore not fully integrating the workflow. **What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Seemore Data has been instrumental in un-jangling the complex web of the data pipes that connect our various systems. The column level lineage maps offer a single source of truth for where the data came from and where it went, but again, the inability to feed into existing data governance tools is less than ideal. ### 6. As a data product manager, we spend a lot of time for manually creating, sharing and storing S2T (source-to-target) docs with the dev team, and also the analytics team for future reference. Aggua save us a lot of precious time with automating this process, so we can easliy create and maintain the S2T and data catalog. Also, since all this data availabe on Aggua, analytics team can then use the catalog to learn and understand what business logic stand behind each column. **What do you dislike about Seemore Data?** I really like the Lineage feature, it really helps us understand how each table it built and review the process each column goes. However, I feel like sometimes the UI isn't so intuitive and it makes the usage of the Lineage quite difficult. **What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aggua helps us automate data mapping and data catalog processes. It helps us provide different teams and easy-to-use tool to explore our data map and also share knowledge with minumun effort. ### 7. Onboarding our data platform was simple, with a help from amazing support team at Aggua. **What do you dislike about Seemore Data?** The team would say "yes, we can do it" to any edge case request. And they delivered on everything! But if you're sceptical about hearing "yes" all the time (most of us are), then this might be a challenging team to work with. **What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have two data platforms on two different tech stacks. Each with it's own documentation, or data catalogue. Working on anything across the organisation (a report, data governance, metric, audit, etc) is very time consuming and requires involving SMEs from both parts of the organisation.
