What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?

Taegis MDR stands out for its powerful combination of advanced threat detection, seamless integration, and expert-driven response. It leverages Secureworks' deep threat intelligence (CTU) to rapidly identify and contextualize threats across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. I especially appreciate its user-friendly interface, which enables effective triage and investigation, and the collaborative response model, allowing my team to co-manage incidents with Secureworks analysts. What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?

While Taegis MDR offers robust detection and response capabilities, there are a few areas for improvement. Alert noise can occasionally be high, requiring manual tuning to reduce false positives. The initial setup and data source integration can be somewhat complex, especially in hybrid environments. Additionally, while the UI is generally intuitive, some advanced search and investigation features could benefit from better documentation or in-app guidance. Finally, reporting customization options are limited compared to other platforms, which may be a concern for teams needing detailed executive or compliance reports. Secureworks Taegis MDR is helping us address key challenges in threat detection, investigation, and response across complex environments. It consolidates telemetry from endpoints, networks, and cloud sources, enabling centralized visibility and faster incident triage. By leveraging Secureworks' threat intelligence and expert analyst support, we’re able to identify and respond to advanced threats much faster than with in-house resources alone. This has significantly reduced our mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR). The co-managed model also allows our team to stay hands-on while benefiting from 24/7 monitoring and expertise, freeing up internal resources for strategic initiatives without compromising security posture.
