The ability to filter out certain ops, and prioritise using all the different filters saves huge amounts of time. The workflow is efficient and much more intuitive than creating reports with SF alone. It's user friendly and takes a matter of minutes to set up. It really allows you to knock out all of the arduous, mundane tasks, without any hassle. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** Not much to be honest. One suggestion though, would be to re-order ops live. For example, If I have sorted the view by the next step date for open ops, if I change the date of the next step, I need to refresh the page for it to reorder. Really small thing though, as clicking the next steps header again will re-sort. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was not updating Salesforce as often as I should because the Salesforce interface can be a bit clunky. This has been game-changing since I don't feel stuck doing things a certain way to get the most out of the software **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** While it does update Salesforce immediately, I have to pull up a new instance of Scratchpad every time I switch tabs. This is somewhat of a hassle when updating the same account from multiple websites. **Recommendations to others considering Scratchpad:** If you find yourself referencing a lot of different websites to pull data into Salesforce, then Scratchpad will save you a lot of time. Also, if you're using spreadsheets for a hitlist, then this could also be an alternative route. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The issue of missing certain data points in Salesforce is pretty much gone with the use of the tiles. The pro version is even better; you can create customizable highlights so you never miss a follow up or action itme. Simply put, Scratchpad is the best thing that has ever happened to pipeline management. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** Nothing at all. Even the free version is extremely powerful. There is absolutely no reason every AE shouldn't be using Scratchpad. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping Salesforce up to date is extremely important, but Salesforce is notoriously difficult to use. Scratchpad makes it easy to update your pipeline in seconds without losing your progress. The ability to immediately update salesforce from almost any screen saves me hours weekly. The Cmnd-J function allows me to access my pipeline, notes, and task on the fly as I am using other tools and web pages. The best part is you can move on to the next task immediately! Scratchpad takes care of waiting for salesforce so you don't have to. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** There is honestly very little to dislike. Much like Tesla and other great companies, this company actually listens to your feedback and then implements your requests. I've already addressed my wants with them and many of them have been implemented. If I had to pick a dislike, it was getting used to it controlling my new tab, but now I feel like I can't work without it. It's so convenient to have instant access to my most used items on the new tab. **Recommendations to others considering Scratchpad:** You should be able to figure most of it out yourself, but if not, they will set up a quick meeting to help you. Communicate with them using the wish function, and use Command-J! **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wait times - Addressed above, but when I put in a change to scratchpad, as soon as I move off that tab, it's updating my CRM in the background. No more waiting for SFDC to load. Visibility - I know you can make custom lists and filters in SFDC, but you have to learn how or ask or do a search. SFDC literally has weeks-long training on it. Scratchpad is intuitive enough for me to pull lists of companies and organize them without me having to even do a google search on how. Customization - each tile is customizable to the layout and information you want or need most on it, saving time and real estate on my screen. It's not cluttered with useless boxes of info I won't be updating. This benefits me for several reasons: getting a quick view of all my opps without having to click around; updating opportunities easily; and as a teammate, it matters that my pipeline is accurate. ### 10. With Scratchpad, I can make all the changes to the opps I need to and it takes a fraction of the time. I also like using the note-taking feature that connects directly to my calendar and SFDC. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** The notes taking functionality, that was so awesome has disappeared for some reason. I was working with BJ from your Customer Success Team (who has been extremely helpful) as to how to fix it but I just haven't had the time to go in and do it yet. **Recommendations to others considering Scratchpad:** I would highly suggest checking Scratchpad out if SFDC frustrates you and you're looking for a simple and easy way to view your opps and forecast properly. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** Just the amount of time it has saved me from updating the opps has been a huge value add. I've joked that their motto is "why do something in one click when you can do it in 10?" Scratchpad solves this problem, and creates an easy-to-use interface that doesn't require me to have ten tabs open at once. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** Every company has a different way of using salesforce, and Scratchpad is still trying to catch up. There's functions on my wish list like logging calls, or seeing phone numbers and emails associated with opportunities. Scratchpad is good about taking my suggestions seriously and trying to implement them. **Recommendations to others considering Scratchpad:** Consider how much you can save if your sales consultants can update your CRM more quickly. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** My manager was telling our team to utilize Salesforce for all of our sales activity, but our instance of Salesforce is so clunky that it takes more time to update it than it does to make sales calls. Seriously, hours. It's an incredibly easy tool to learn which also makes training on it quick. My team was able to adopt it into their workflow within 2 days of starting their role, which is great. Part of our workflow includes making changes to prospect titles, emails, and phones --Scratchpad made all of this SO SIMPLE. It took the manual work away and automated our processes. I also love the tasks feature (so easy to pull it up anywhere with command j) so that we could stay on top of newly engaged prospects (using other sales tools) and within LinkedIn. Overall, I absolutely think Scratchpad should be used by every sales person to support them with their daily workflows and save them time. Time=money, right? **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** I really love the tool overall, the only suggestion I would give SP is for AE/SDR collabs. We still have some AEs using google sheets (with lists of contacts in there notes etc) so it would be awesome if we could add some prospecting features in Scratchpad. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem Scratchpad saves is EFFICIENCY + TIME. Seriously, I timed working on ONE account within SFDC (clean up and add contacts) and it takes about 45-1 hour depending on how many contacts are in there. With scratchpad it cuts the time in half. Insane. She showed me features of the tool that I would've missed and it was clear that she genuinely wanted to help. Pipeline updates used to take me 60 minutes each week, and I've been able to pare that down to <5 minutes. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** It's less of a dislike but more of a request. I'd like to see some prebuilt "views" included. When you connect SFDC and Scratchpad, having some automated machine logic run to create some useful views (and propose new views based on fields companies frequently use) would be killer! **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've saved a lot of time and frustration by using Scratchpad. Way too many mouse clicks to update a simple phone number or add a note about a conversation. Scratchpad is like magic for these mundane tasks. No time wasted hitting an edit button to open an edit window then clicking the save button after making your changes. Scratchpad is very fast, open the record and make the change, that's all there is to it. If you use the task function in Salesforce, Scratchpad will make knocking out those tasks much more efficient too. You have to wonder why this clean layout and functionality isn't built into Salesforce. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** With great power... the one downside is that if you make a mistake while altering a file it's not possible to correct it. One time I was copying an email address and accidentally cut it instead. That took it right out of the record which had I noticed it right away would have been easy to fix but I didn't. The next time I pulled up that record, I realized what I had done and had to search through my emails to recover the address. An "undo" function would be useful. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** To work efficiently in Salesforce is a challenge. The second most helpful feature is being able to update fields on the fly without needing for each field to update before proceeding. The instant nature of Scratchpad entry streamlines my day to day work. **What do you dislike about Scratchpad?** The part of Scratchpad I dislike is the need to shift out of a view and back into it to see the update. For example, I may need to jump from pipeline view to notes and back to pipeline to see a closed opp disappear from the pipeline view. It isn't a big deal, and, there is a chance I would complain if the closed opp disappeared too quickly, so, this is a minor dislike. **What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I have solved with Scratchpad is not updating Salesforce as often as I should because the Salesforce interface can be a bit clunky. Scratchpad also solves the problem of having to input notes taken on another platform into the CRM.
