## Scoro Reviews
  ### 1. Subtasks and dependencies made cross-functional delivery planning much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yaroslav B. | Full Stack Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

The Quoted vs Actual table is where Scoro becomes genuinely useful beyond basic project tracking. When we estimate an API, a migration, or a new frontend section, I can compare the original budget with the hours and costs already being consumed, while there’s still time to do something about it. It won’t rescue a bad estimate, but it makes the impact visible before the project reaches invoicing and everyone acts surprised. On a recent delivery, backend work was still close to plan, while browser and compatibility testing had burned through almost twice the expected hours. That early signal gave us enough time to remove lower-priority work from the sprint and talk with the client before the overrun turned into an awkward billing conversation. We use the budgeting, role-based costs, templates, and deeper financial reporting available in the Growth plan, and the newer Subtasks have also improved how we structure delivery work. A task like “Implement payments” can now be broken down into the endpoint, validations, webhook handling, interface work, testing, and documentation, without losing the connection to the main deliverable.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

Scoro doesn’t feel lightweight in the first few days. There are many modules, fields, and configuration options because the platform is trying to handle projects, resources, CRM, quoting, budgeting, and invoicing all in one system. That breadth becomes genuinely useful once the workflow is set up properly, but early on it can make even simple actions feel busier than they should. For example, a developer who only needs to check assigned work or log time doesn’t need to see half of the commercial and financial information that’s available across the platform.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A recent client update required replacing an authentication service, making changes across two frontend applications, and coordinating a deployment window with the client’s internal team. Midway through the sprint, we discovered that a library used by one of the portals wasn’t compatible with the new SDK version. The technical issue itself was manageable; the bigger challenge was understanding what it meant for the schedule, budget, and the rest of the release without pausing every workstream while we investigated. To keep things moving, we split the delivery into subtasks, put the affected portal behind a dependency in the Gantt chart, and kept the detailed engineering tickets in Jira while synchronized hours continued feeding the Scoro budget. The Quoted vs Actual view made it clear that research and testing were already running above estimate, which allowed the project manager to explain the impact to the client using real numbers rather than a vague warning from engineering. We moved part of the scope into a second phase, and the team continued with the work that wasn’t blocked. By the end of the project, we didn’t have to reconstruct which hours belonged to development, QA, investigation, or support by digging through timesheets and Slack messages.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you for such a detailed review, Yaroslav! It's great to hear Computools can compare quoted budget against actual hours and costs while a project is still in flight, catching overruns well before they turn into a surprise invoicing conversation with the client. Breaking work like "Implement payments" into subtasks, and sequencing blocked pieces with Gantt dependencies, sounds like it's given your team a much cleaner way to structure complex delivery.

You're right that Scoro shows a lot at once early on, and permission sets can help there, they let you configure a simplified view for roles like developers so commercial and financial modules stay out of the way until they're needed, here's how to set them up: https://support.scoro.com/hc/en-us/articles/12780488077325-Permission-sets.

Thanks again for such a thorough walkthrough, we're glad Scoro is helping your 150-employee team manage complex delivery work with confidence.

  ### 2. Absolutely essential for time and team management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna-Kaisa R. | AD, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

Task lists and planner are my most used tools. Project views work well, and I like the pace at which new improvements are being rolled out. Lately, AI both within Scoro and the possibilities to use the data gathered further with other AI tools has made a great difference. Scoro's own AI assistant sets projects up for me, which is a great help! I just tell it in plain language what I want, and things happen.

In our workflow, we've also created reminders to Slack, which helps people keep up with projects and tasks.

Support is great, they also proactively approach us to point out where we could do better.

We've been users for a long time, so I cannot offer accurate ROI figures, but I still see pricing as good value for all the features Scoro offers.

There are rarely any problems with performance, and updated are rolled out with good communication.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

It can be overwhelming and complicated to many. Calendar view is not the best.

**Recommendations to others considering Scoro:**

There often is no silver bullet to solving all the needs a company might have, but scoro is so versatile it comes quite close.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, now also reporting. Team resource planning is essential!

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you so much for such a detailed review, Anna-Kaisa! It's wonderful to hear Aava & Bang now has real-time visibility into who's available and where the team's time is going, which takes a lot of the guesswork out of planning across such a busy workload. On top of that, having ELI (Scoro AI) set up new projects for you in plain language, and pushing task reminders straight into Slack, sounds like it's shaved real time off the day-to-day admin.

We hear you on the calendar view, and there's actually more room to shape it to your liking than might be obvious at first, our guide on customizing filters, saved views, and the time grid is here: https://support.scoro.com/hc/en-us/articles/12404262638349-Calendar-customization. Thanks again for such generous feedback, we're glad Scoro is keeping your projects and your team so well aligned.

  ### 3. Scoro Keeps Projects Centralised and Remote Teams on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bianca C. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

Scoro is really good for tracking progress and creating tasks for the team. It's especially helpful for working remotely. It also gives you the possibility of centralising everything from a project into one place, and making it easily accessible to the whole team.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

Sometimes it feels like a lot of work for things that should be simple. Creating a task under a phase, for example - the fact that you can't completely populate the task directly from the phase is annoying. Adding photos to the task description could also just be a drag and drop instead of having to click the image icon, and then uploading the image. I feel like there are a lot of little processes that these that could be easier / require less clicks.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps everything centralised so all our projects are in one place and everyone can see the communications, how time is being spent in that project, and how progress is tracking.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you so much for the great review, Bianca! It's wonderful to hear your whole team now has one real-time home for every project, so even working remotely, everyone can see exactly how things are tracking without chasing updates across different tools. Creating and organizing tasks under each phase sounds like it's made that day-to-day work easy to follow for the whole team. Thanks again for taking the time to share this, we're glad Scoro is keeping your 50-person remote team so well connected.

  ### 4. Easy and lucid tracking tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

As a small and medium business owner, I use Scoro mainly for its integrations with Xero and Expensify. With Xero, Scoro makes it easy to sync invoices, bills, and payments between my projects and accounting. I just create invoices for my clients in Scoro, and everything is automatically updated in Xero, saving me and my team lots of time and manual work.

For expenses, Scoro’s integration with Expensify is a big help. After approving expense reports in Expensify, all receipts and expense details show up in Scoro attached to the right project or invoice. This keeps my records organized and makes tracking spending simple.

Overall, Scoro helps me keep my finances in order without needing to jump between apps or worry about things getting missed

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

Can have more alert features built in for over delivery and other data points

**Recommendations to others considering Scoro:**

Worth every penny and easy lucid interface for tracking activity, team tasks and projects

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead tracking, project execution, billing. Quote generation and sales pipeline updates internally , new customer tracking and onboarding

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you for such a thorough review! It's great to hear your finances are staying in order without jumping between systems or worrying about things slipping through the cracks, from quoting all the way through to getting paid. The Xero and Expensify integrations do a lot of that heavy lifting, automatically syncing invoices, bills, payments, and expense receipts straight to the right project.

You mentioned wanting more alert features for over delivery, and Scoro's watchdog tool already covers a lot of that ground, letting you set automatic alerts on budget or retainer metrics so you're flagged before a project tips into overservicing, here's how to set it up: https://support.scoro.com/hc/en-us/articles/12405325244813-Watchdog. You could also ask ELI chat (Scoro AI) do that for you.

Thanks again for sharing your experience, we're glad Scoro is helping keep your business running smoothly.

  ### 5. Scoro’s Time Tracking and Custom Dashboards Boost Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Executive Office | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

Scoro's time tracking and task management/setting is incredibly helpful. It does take a minute to learn/get used to, as everything does, but it has helped increase my productivity and has also been a massive help in showing me where my time is going in the day (to what tasks, etc). Another great feature about Scoro is its dashboard abilities; I can display as many widgets as I need.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

The only thing I dislike about Scoro is not being able to see my bookmarks (that I have made custom) as charts (or expanded reports on my dashboard). This is potentially an option available that I haven't found yet though.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoro is helping me keep track of my time and showing me where my time is going to certain tasks. I can review how much time I spend on recurring tasks, so if there's ever a weird pattern I can review it. This helps me keep track of my day and not get lost in recurring tasks.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you for such a thorough review! Seeing exactly where your day goes, piece by piece, and being able to compare recurring work over time gives you the kind of granular visibility that turns guesswork into real capacity planning, so an odd pattern gets caught before it becomes a habit.

The time tracker and task setup are what make that possible day to day, and stacking as many widgets as you like on your dashboard means you can keep an eye on all of it without digging through menus, which matters when you're running things across a 50+ person operation.

On the bookmarks question, you can actually pull any saved bookmark straight onto your dashboard as a chart or metric through the "Add to dashboard" button, and this guide walks through exactly how: https://support.scoro.com/hc/en-us/articles/13750538194445-Step-2-Bookmark-reports-and-build-dashboards.

We're glad Scoro is helping you stay on top of your time, and appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback.

  ### 6. All-in-One Solution That Enhances Agency Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather E. | Senior Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

I like that everything with Scoro is in the same place. It includes timesheets, planners, projects, and the reporting, which makes management much more streamlined. We used to work with separate software for time tracking, project management, and billing, so having all this together in Scoro has made us more effective as an agency. Scoro helps us have everything under one roof with clearer visibility across teams.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

The reporting is a little frustrating at times, and I can't allocate time allocations to specific services within projects. It would be helpful to see the pace per service throughout the month. Also, during the onboarding, I felt that the onboarding person didn’t really understand our business, and a lot of the onboarding was generic rather than tailored to us.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Scoro to keep everything under one roof, giving clearer visibility across teams. It combines time tracking, project management, and billing, making us more effective as an agency.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Hi Heather, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a great review of your experience with Scoro.

It is wonderful to hear that Scoro is helping you keep everything under one roof, providing the clear visibility across teams that allows your mid-market-sized agency to be more effective by combining time tracking, project management, and billing in a single system.

We are glad you find the all-in-one nature of our timesheets, planners, and reporting tools valuable, as centralizing these features is designed specifically to streamline management and eliminate the need for fragmented software.

Regarding your feedback on tracking pace per service, you can use the Detailed Work Report to group results by Service or Activity Type to monitor your progress throughout the month, and I also recommend checking the Monitoring and Reporting section of our Help Center for tips on customizing your dashboard widgets for even better visibility.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we truly appreciate you choosing Scoro as your partner in becoming an even more well-oiled agency!

  ### 7. Scoro for the win!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheryl H. | Client Services Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

We’ve used Scoro for over three years and remain very satisfied with its performance. It has improved efficiency across our team compared to our previous system. The ability to set detailed client information—such as categories, pricing in USD or CAD, and client-specific checklists—ensures accuracy and consistency from the quoting stage onward. Quotes can be created, approved, and automatically converted into projects with related tasks, saving significant time. Custom views for quotes, projects, and tasks make tracking progress straightforward and help us meet deadlines. We also value the ability to change project and quote statuses, allowing for an easy handoff to our payments team. Invoices can be generated and sent directly through Scoro, with automatic follow-ups for outstanding payments. The system also alerts us to overdue invoices when creating new quotes. We’re always impressed with the monthly updates and how Scoro continues to improve with thoughtful new features that reflect real user needs.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

Scoro was a bit of a challenge to set up initially as there are so many customizations. However, our onboarding specialist helped us navigate this step really well. It is worth going through to have Scoro work as you need it to for your business.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoro helps us streamline our entire workflow, from quoting to project delivery and invoicing - all within one system. Before Scoro, we spent extra time managing client details, tracking project progress, and following up on payments in separate tools. Now, quotes are easily converted into projects with defined tasks, ensuring all deliverables stay on track. The ability to manage project statuses, generate invoices directly, and automate follow-ups for outstanding payments has saved our team time and reduced errors. Having visibility across all stages of a job helps us stay organized, meet deadlines, and maintain consistency with every client.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Hi Cheryl, thank you so much for leaving such a happy and detailed review for Scoro!

It is wonderful to hear how Scoro has helped you streamline your entire workflow from quoting to project delivery and invoicing within a single system, especially as it has saved your team time and reduced errors by eliminating the need for separate tools. By utilizing our quote to cash features, you have successfully bridged the gap between sales and execution, ensuring that all deliverables stay on track through defined tasks and automated payment follow-ups. You mentioned that you particularly enjoy how quotes can be converted into projects with client-specific checklists and pricing in multiple currencies, which directly contributes to the consistency and end-to-end visibility that keeps your business organized. We are thrilled to hear that our monthly updates and thoughtful new features continue to impress you, and we are glad that our onboarding specialist was able to help you navigate the initial setup so you could tailor the many customizations to fit your specific business needs.

We truly appreciate you choosing Scoro as your partner for the past three years and look forward to continuing to support your team's success.

  ### 8. ELI Bot Makes Finding Information Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanchit S. | Strategic Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

I like the AI chatbot functionality which got added. The ELI bot is the easiest way for me to navigate and find information I am looking for

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

ELI chatbot is still developing and at times break down. However, it's improving a lot

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regular MIS for all our teams. Tracking revenue by client and trends on spending of each client. Also helps track dues and alerts everyone involved

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, Sanchit! It's great to hear NEXD now has one clear, real-time view of revenue and spending trends by client, plus automatic alerts on outstanding dues, instead of piecing that together across separate spreadsheets. Scoro's AI (ELI chat) sounds like it's become your shortcut for finding answers fast, which is exactly what we built it for. We hear you on the rough edges, and the good news is ELI came out of beta this April with a much steadier, more capable version, you can read about the upgrade here: https://www.scoro.com/blog/scoro-version-update-26-4/. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience, we're glad Scoro is supporting 20-person MarTech teams so well.

  ### 9. Enhances Visibility, Streamlines Processes, and Provides Unmatched Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi H. | General Manager: Business Execution, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

I love how the Scoro team set themselves apart with their unmatched customer service. Scoro is a brilliant system that has improved visibility across the business and eased the admin burden on the team. It has streamlined internal processes and tracking of projects and costs. I particularly appreciate its ease of use and how it effortlessly links costs across projects and resources. The improved reliability of data and reduced administrative burden impress me. The setup was easy, making the transition smooth for our team.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

Internal navigation, it's hard to ‘go back’ to a previous screen, need to keep multiple tabs open to speed up work across multiple projects. A similar setup to having a root directory would be ideal, where you can click up one ‘folder level’.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoro streamlines internal processes, enhances business visibility, improves project cost tracking, links costs effortlessly, and eases administrative burden, making it reliable and user-friendly.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Hi Heidi, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an awesome 5-star review!

It is fantastic to hear that Scoro is helping you streamline your internal processes, enhance visibility, and significantly ease the administrative burden on your team. By effortlessly linking costs across projects and resources, Scoro is designed specifically to provide that improved data reliability and project cost tracking you mentioned, ensuring you can focus more on execution and less on manual data entry.

I am thrilled that you particularly appreciate the system’s ease of use and the unmatched support from our team, as we strive to make the transition and daily operations as smooth as possible for every business.

Regarding the navigation and the "folder level" structure you mentioned, while we don't have a traditional root directory, I recommend making use of the Bookmarks feature to save your most frequent filtered views, which allows you to jump back to specific project lists or financial overviews with a single click from the top menu. Additionally, you can customize your global search settings and personal menu to keep your most-used modules like Projects or Finances front and center, reducing the need for multiple tabs.

We truly appreciate you choosing Scoro to power your business execution and for being such a champion user!

  ### 10. A Powerful solution for project and financial management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Scoro?**

It is a all in one approach to business management. it seamlessly connects project management , resource planning, CRM, time tracking, and financial reporting, given teams complete visibility into their operations.

**What do you dislike about Scoro?**

The Initial setup and customization process may require a significant time investment, and some advanced reports and workflows have a learning curve. smaller team that only need basic project management features might find the platform more complex than necessary.

**What problems is Scoro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the challenge of managing projects, resources, finances and client relationships across multiple disconnect tools. It eliminated Silos, improves team collaboration, and provides real time visibility into project progress and profitability.

**Official Response from Karin Kanamäe:**

> Thank you for this honest review and for taking the time to walk through how Scoro fits into your operations!

Bringing project management, resourcing, CRM, time tracking, and financial reporting into one place has helped teams like yours eliminate silos and get real time visibility into progress and profitability, so decisions no longer wait on scattered spreadsheets.

Many mid-market sized teams tell us the all in one connection between planning, tracking, and billing dashboards is what makes daily work feel manageable again, since everything lives in one place instead of five disconnected tools.

We appreciate you choosing Scoro and are glad it's giving your team a single source of truth to work from.
