I find it really helpful that Scoro can handle several tasks I previously had to spread across multiple tools. Before Scoro, I used Pandadoc for quotes, Resource Guru for resourcing, and ClickUp or Monday for day-to-day project management. Now, with Scoro, I can quote, manage projects, allocate resources, and report while staying in the same platform. Additionally, it allows us to track the sales pipeline for projects as well by having a CRM function. I do not use it that much but it's helpful for Sales and Account Managers.
This is especially valuable for reporting, because we can link projects, quotes, and invoices that all relate to the same work, so the paper trail is straightforward to follow. Overall, Scoro still feels like one of the most versatile options for bringing several solutions together under one roof.
Some additional notes:
As for the UX/UI I believe it is as intuitive as it can be inside the complexity of information that it allows us to navigate. It has a helpful integration with our calendars to allow us to more easily see someone's capacity based on their scheduled meetings. I was also pleasantly surprised by the speed of the platform. I used some custom solutions previously but they were usually very slow and they had less information in the database. I cannot provide any feedback on the pricing as I am not responsible for this topic. However, in my previous company we considered acquiring Scoro but we ended up choosing another tool mostly due to pricing. That said, we would have benefited from making that choice because we ended up investing a lot of time into fixes and integrations that probably wouldn't be needed. The Help button provides a lot of helpful tutorials that come in handy when we hit a road block. I saw that there's the AI assistant ELI to assist us but I haven't used it that much yet. I hope to give it a go soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because I work on large campaigns, the lack of subtasks is a bit of an issue, although I’ve heard we may be getting that functionality soon. I’d also like an option to integrate Scoro with Slack, so comments from Slack could be automatically carried over to Scoro and vice versa. Another thing I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t seem easy to partially invoice a specific quote, though I might be mistaken.
At times, when using the Planner in the general view, it was hard to locate a task, so I ended up using the Planner within the project itself to find it more easily. Finally, if the pricing is as high as it was before (or higher), that’s a pity, because I think a lot of people are missing out on a good tool. I also don't find the bookings to be that helpful, to be honest as I'm mostly referring to the Planner. I also saw some issues with reporting on projects as the profitability seemed lower than in reality because it was not only looking at time actually registered but also other factors as planned time that we're disturbing the data. Thank you for such a detailed and fair review of your experience so far! It’s great to hear your team has retired three separate tools and can now see who has capacity and how each campaign is performing financially without stitching data together by hand. Linking projects, quotes, and invoices for the same piece of work, plus a calendar integration that shows someone’s availability around their meetings, sit at the heart of how Scoro supports a large marketing agency, and we’re glad the speed stood out to you as well. Good news on your top request: subtasks are already live in Scoro, and your site admin can switch them on by choosing the “With subtasks” work planning option, as explained here: https://support.scoro.com/hc/en-us/articles/43241170360461-Work-planning-with-subtasks. We really appreciate you choosing Scoro for your campaign work, and we hope ELI earns a spot in your routine soon.
