## Sched Reviews
  ### 1. Longtime Sched User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan S. | Director, Professional Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

We have been able to use Sched for both virtual and in-person events. Adding attendees, speakers, and sponsors is a breeze, and being able to see projected attendance for events helps us be proactive in our planning. Last-minute changes to programming, locations, and events, are easy to navigate on Sched, as well. I appreciate the messaging options to push out real-time notifications and reminders to attendees, speakers, sponsors, or everyone at once!

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The pricing of Sched was a shock to us this year. The Sched team met with us to navigate our budget as a nonprofit education organization, and we are so grateful they were able to accommodate our needs.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched is a great communication tool. We have an event where we have participants in different pathways, with different learning needs, and a variety of complementary events. Sched helps us provide filters for this wide variety of attendees, and it also allows us to pivot locations and resources as we see attendance increase in real-time.

  ### 2. Easy to use, updated UI is great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The Sched team keeps you on track very well throughout the process with a detailed, outline of what steps are needed by when. Logging into the system and completing all the required steps for the published app was easy. The end result is a very professional looking app, and all I had to do was upload images and information about our event.

End result, over 200+ people used our app for our annual event this year without any issues or complaints.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Previous versions looked a little dated, but the latest UI/UX updates are great! Very clean and fresh.

Of course, with any software there will be limitations, but we were able to do everything we needed to for a live 3-day event.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Run a live event for multiple days consists of a lot of information needing to be shared and having it all in one app makes it easy to keep everyone informed. There are schedules they can build for themselves based on the event's lineup, and we can also send live notifications if needed.

  ### 3. User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gladys J. | Professional Learning Facilitator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is extremely user-friendly, from all stages of planning an event. Spreadsheet import is extremely useful, and management of communication in the dashboard to participants, speakers, and more is great. The live support through chat has been helpful, along with a plethora of self-help guides on the site.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I would like an option for the spreadsheet imports to be a choice of Google and Excel spreadsheets but I understand the formatting and platform needing excel. There are no real downsides of using Sched. Beyond Sched's control are budget cuts in education which limit the ability to purchase subscriptions that we may find more useful with the communication features as other aspects. They do, however, provide great deals for working with them.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing educators with options and choice at professional learning events in one easy platform to make the professional learning experience enjoyable and easy to navigate.

  ### 4. Fantastic support - but you won't need it often

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched is extremely intuitive to set up and use, even the more advanced features. But if you need help, they also have fantastic support - very clear tutorials for admins and users alike (which they make easy to share with event participants), and dedicated account managers and tech support teams who are very responsive and actually take the time to get to know your event needs. And they take client feedback seriously - every year I see a new improvement or integration that is based on user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Honestly, I don't think there are any issues with Sched that aren't common among event platforms - and they are minor. We've received feedback from attendees in the past who wished the attendee interaction features were more robust, but Sched obviously also received the same feedback because I've noticed improvements with every update.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched just launched an integrated CFP feature which will make recruiting, reviewing, and converting prospects to speakers so much easier. It was launched after we had already begun our own CFP this year, but we are looking forward to using it and streamlining the process for our next annual conference.

  ### 5. Sched makes event management a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariam M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Sched makes event management so much easier with its intuitive user interface. The ability to bulk-upload sessions, users, and speakers—complete with helpful tagging options—was a huge time-saver. I also appreciated how the schedule could be integrated into our website, providing a professional look for our event. The email feature was another highlight, allowing us to send daily reminders, welcome emails, and customized newsletters to attendees. The event privacy features also gave us peace of mind when it came to restricting it to our participants only.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

While their customer service is quick and responsive, they don’t always have all the answers, which can leave you hanging in certain situations. Another area for improvement is the email customization options, particularly for subject lines and intros, which are sometimes pre-set and can’t be modified. Also, a Spanish-language user interface would be a fantastic addition. Lastly, the feedback feature could be more flexible to collect additional information.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched helped us manage a complex event with ease. Its tools for bulk-uploading sessions and managing attendees saved us hours of manual work, and the email reminders helped improve engagement. The integration with Zoom meant that we didn’t have to worry about linking sessions individually, and the event privacy features ensured a secure experience for our participants.

  ### 6. Year 2 and VERY Satisfied

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlin P. | Speech Language Pathologist and Special Education Event Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Sched?**

This is our second year using Sched for a week-long Special Education professional development conference. It is a fantastic resource! Coordinating the event with it made scheduling 200+ attendees and 50 speakers simple. Thank you for this platform and extremely fast responses to all questions through excellent customer support!

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

I'm not sure there is anything I would say that I disliked.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sched has created a one-stop shop for all your event planning needs from beginning to end, from registering, scheduling, providing presenter feedback, and obtaining data to present to our School Board.

  ### 7. Very well received by our online participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian D. | Retired, volunteer., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Visual, themed, schedule. Works seamlessly cross-platform.
Our users were happy! Time zone management was brilliant across five and a half zones.
Daily schedule email reminders were well received.
Administrative possibilities are immensely valuable using the well-documented Rest interface.
Just in time (i.e. late) setting of Zoom links worked well - they are revealed shortly before event start times.
The company was very supportive.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

The emailed daily schedule does not localize event start times to the time zone of the reader.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

You will need to be prepared to dive into the data.
Ensure you have your schedule of events already prepared in a spreadsheet (we used google sheets) for easy upload to Sched.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not develop and maintain our website with zoom links, descriptions, etc., once we had loaded our schedule into the Sched system.

  ### 8. Really responsive support and excellent registration platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Sched?**

The ease with which the registration is undertaken. This platform constantly upgrades and improves everytime we use it. GREAT, responsive helpful support.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Nothing. There is nothing missing from this product and everything works properly.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Super easy to get support. Videos are great. Just sad that every time we use it the price has escalated significantly. It was $100 the first year we used it!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to cap numbers is great as well as freeze registration. I'd like next year to have support with having 2 audiences with different access to workshops. WE didn't use it this year as the workshops are still visible even if part of the audience is excluded.

  ### 9. User friendly conference set up, best and easiest out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary P. | Educational Technologist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Sched?**

I have used Sched many times to organize conferences. The people I work with have a wide range of technology comfort, and I don't think I've ever received a question about how it works from the user point of view, as far as registering for sessions. Even better, the back end is great too. Many options for uploading, many plans to really support your needs, and best of all the customer service is the best out there.

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

Sched doesn't really have any downsides. Maybe if you're an advanced web designer or coder it might feel too stiff? I really can't think of anything. It's truly ideal for organizing a conference, no matter how many sessions.

**Recommendations to others considering Sched:**

Try it. You can set a lot of it up and get a feel for it before you commit to purchase. It's straightforward and easy to use from all angles.

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in an organization with over 500 employees. This has been the best way to relay information to people, track attendance and trends, and keep information about our conferences in one extremely reliable and easy to use place.

  ### 10. Please reconsider your prices!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamison N. | Founder and Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Sched?**

Ease of use and embeddable into your website

**What do you dislike about Sched?**

We would still like to use it, but their pricing has skyrocketed! Some of features cannot be justified as selling points, like their website. The prices are literally three times as much as what we used to pay.

Also - Having Eventbrite as the only ticketing integration is shortsighted. Most do not use Eventbrite after they priced all SMEs out of their product. Having a ticketing solution integrated that is also integrated with Stripe is far more clever for folks like us!

**What problems is Sched solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None presently but we did enjoy using the product to embed schedules in our sites
