"Deep, Scalable Sales Compensation Management with Strong Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Performance Management?

What I like best about SAP Sales Performance Management is the depth of the platform and how much of the sales compensation and performance process can be managed in one place.

From a UI/UX standpoint, there is a lot of information available, but once you understand the workflow, it becomes much easier to navigate. I especially like being able to see performance, compensation-related information, goals, and reporting without having to jump between several different systems. For managers and sales reps, having that level of visibility makes it much easier to understand where you stand and what is driving the numbers.

The integrations are another major strength. SAP SPM fits well into a broader sales and business technology stack, which is important when performance data is coming from CRM, finance, HR, or other systems. Having those systems connected reduces manual work and creates a more reliable source of truth.

Performance and scalability are also strong. The platform can handle a significant amount of data and more complicated compensation structures without requiring everything to be managed manually in spreadsheets. That becomes especially valuable as an organization grows.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, the value comes from reducing admin Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Performance Management?

The main downside of SAP Sales Performance Management is that the platform can feel complex at first. The UI/UX has a lot of functionality packed into it, so certain areas are not always as intuitive or modern-feeling as they could be, especially for new users.

Integrations are powerful, but depending on the systems involved, setup and maintenance can require more technical involvement than expected.

Performance is generally strong, although with larger data sets or more complex reporting there can occasionally be some slower load times.

Pricing can also be harder to justify for smaller organizations. The ROI makes more sense when you have a larger sales organization, complicated compensation plans, or significant administrative work to automate.

Support and onboarding are important because there is a noticeable learning curve. More guided onboarding and easier self-service resources would improve the experience.

The AI and intelligence capabilities are promising, but I would like to see them become more embedded into the everyday workflow, with more proactive insights and recommendations rather than mainly relying on users to dig into the data themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
