"Proactive Planning with Seamless Integration"

What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

I really like the demand forecasting capability in SAP Integrated Business Planning—it’s remarkably accurate and helps me anticipate market shifts. I also value the integrated planning view because it connects supply, demand, and inventory data in one place, which makes it easier to spot bottlenecks before they become problems. The scenario planning tool is another feature I appreciate, as it lets me test different what-if situations and see their impact before making decisions. Overall, these features give me the accuracy and flexibility I need to plan with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

A few things could be improved from my experience. First, the learning curve is fairly steep — the interface and configuration options can be overwhelming for new users, so a more intuitive onboarding process or simplified UI would help a lot. Second, integration with certain third-party or legacy systems isn't always smooth, which sometimes creates extra manual work to reconcile data. Third, the scenario planning tool, while powerful, can feel slow when running complex simulations with large datasets — improving processing speed there would make it much more practical for day-to-day use. Lastly, I think more customizable, user-friendly reporting and dashboards would make it easier to share insights with teams that aren't as familiar with the platform.
