## SAP HANA Cloud Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Transactions, But Time-Intensive Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumeet R. | Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I like that SAP HANA Cloud allows us to use everything in one tool. It displays the purchasing order, which is something I appreciate. We were able to customize some analytics tools in our system, which adds to the flexibility. The ability to complete transactions in five to ten minutes at most, compared to our previous tool which took a lot longer, is a significant improvement. We've become accustomed to the system within a month, and now, after using it for approximately one and a half years, it's smooth sailing.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

It's a bit annoying and very time-consuming compared to the previous ERP systems. It's okay, but just very time-consuming.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud for supplier management, completing end-to-end transactions more efficiently. It reduces my transaction time from over an hour to just five to ten minutes per transaction.

  ### 2. Real-Time Analytics Powerhouse with Flexible, Scalable Performance.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahendra S. | Manager Operation and Maintenance, Renewables & Environment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

What I like best about SAP HANA Cloud is its ability to combine high-performance data processing with flexibility and scalability in a single platform. It enables real-time analytics on large datasets, which significantly improves decision-making speed and operational efficiency

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

SAP HANA Cloud can be quite expensive compared to other cloud database solutions, especially for small to mid-sized organizations. Licensing and resource usage costs can increase quickly

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP HANA Cloud addresses the challenge of managing and analyzing large volumes of data in real time. Traditional databases often struggle with performance and latency when dealing with complex queries, but HANA Cloud’s in-memory processing enables fast data access and real-time analytics, helping us make quicker and more informed decisions

  ### 3. SAP HANA Cloud: Fast Real-Time Performance with Smooth, Scalable Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subham M. | Deputy Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

SAP HANA Cloud delivers excellent performance through real-time data processing, which makes reporting and decision-making noticeably faster. It also scales well and integrates smoothly with other systems, so it feels dependable for enterprise use. Overall, it’s a powerful, efficient cloud database solution.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

SAP HANA Cloud offers strong capabilities, but there are a few areas where it could be improved. The cost can be relatively high, particularly for small or mid-sized organizations. The initial setup and configuration may feel complex and often require skilled resources to get everything running smoothly. In addition, performance tuning and troubleshooting can be challenging at times, and the documentation could be more user-friendly and easier to navigate. Overall, it’s a powerful platform, but it comes with a learning curve and important cost considerations.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP HANA Cloud addresses slow data processing and fragmented systems by offering a single, high-performance platform for real-time data management and analytics. By bringing data together in one place, it helps eliminate silos and reduces reliance on multiple tools.

For me, this translates into faster reporting, stronger decision-making, and better overall operational efficiency. It also cuts down on manual effort and supports data accuracy, which is especially important when managing large-scale operations effectively.

  ### 4. Structured, Reliable, but Complex for New Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul N. | Lead Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I appreciate that SAP HANA Cloud is structured and reliable for daily finance operations activities. It gives me confidence in the accuracy of the data, which is crucial when dealing with invoice postings. I also like the integration with other processes, such as the payments team and procurement team, which makes the overall workflow more efficient. The integration helps a lot in my daily work because different processes are connected, allowing me to refer to purchase orders and related data directly in the system, reducing the need to check multiple sources.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

One area as per my experience can be improved is the ease of use for new users. The system is a bit complex because there are many fields and steps, and it may take time to be comfortable.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud for validating invoice data, reducing errors, and tracking invoices easily. The integration with other processes makes workflows efficient by connecting related data directly in the system.

  ### 5. Sub-Second In-Memory Analytics That Slashes Latency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujit S. | Assitant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

What I find most impressive is the in-memory processing capability. Handling massive datasets that used to take minutes to query now happens in sub-seconds. This real-time data processing has significantly reduced our latency issues, allowing our team to run complex analytics without having to wait for overnight batch jobs

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

The pricing model can be quite complex to navigate, making it difficult to predict monthly costs as data volume grows. Additionally, while powerful, the steep learning curve for junior developers means that onboarding new team members takes longer than it would with more traditional SQL databases

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with fragmented data across multiple legacy systems, which made real-time reporting impossible. SAP HANA Cloud acted as our 'single source of truth' by integrating these disparate sources. This has resulted in a 30% reduction in data prep time for our analysts and much more accurate quarterly forecasts.

  ### 6. Efficient Supply Chain Management, Needs Better Data Handling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshit G. | Supply Chain Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I have used SAP HANA Cloud in my supply chain operations, and its ability to handle huge data sets is commendable, which helps me make important decisions and saves me a lot of time. The system can automatically raise purchase orders based on demand or my inventory levels, which is crucial to prevent stock outs of critical items, save the company’s reputation, and maintain service levels. The initial setup was easy, needing just some time to train people for complete adoption.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I think it can not hold massive data sets. It has some limits. I think it can work on its memory because usually companies have massive data sets and they want to preserve it.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud to efficiently handle large data sets for decision making and optimize warehouse operations. Its automatic purchase order system prevents stockouts, safeguarding reputation and service levels.

  ### 7. Powerful, Scalable Database Platform for Modern SAP Landscapes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis S. | Senior SAP Architect, Consumer Goods, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

Its flexibility and scalability in the cloud while keeping the power of the in-memory SAP HANA database. It combines transactional and analytical workloads in one platform, which simplifies architecture and accelerates innovation. Plus, its tight integration with the SAP ecosystem makes development and data management much more seamless. SAP support is very good as the product is in their focus. Also the HANA Data Lake Files options are something that can help you get the right type of compute for your usecase.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

Cost can be high if you don't manage the workload properly.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP HANA Cloud solves the challenge of managing transactional and analytical data in separate systems by unifying them on a single in-memory platform. It also simplifies cloud scalability and data integration across the SAP landscape. For me, that means less architectural complexity, faster insights, and more time focused on delivering business value instead of maintaining infrastructure. It is easy to be integrated with other non-SAP platforms as well.

  ### 8. Flexible, Cost-Effective, and Modern Cloud Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** claire w. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I like SAP HANA Cloud's flexibility and automation, especially for handling BI reporting and performance reporting tasks. The automation for releases is a significant help. I also appreciate the flexible memory feature, as it reduces costs by allowing us to only use a lot of memory when we actually need it, not every hour. The initial setup and configuration required some effort, but overall, it's simpler and more modern compared to on-premise solutions.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

nothing

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud for performance reporting and BI reporting. It offers flexibility and automation, particularly helpful for release automation. The flexible memory reduces costs by allocating high memory only when needed during the day.

  ### 9. Standardization and Optimization with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorota Maria L. | Assistant Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I really like the simplicity of integration points across modules with the key private cloud enablement of the acdoca table, which makes reporting easy. I also like the Fiori launchpad and the applications targeted to the final users.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

Some functionalities are not adjusted to specific industries. For example, asset accounting needs to be treated differently depending on which country is the mother company and which industry you are in. It is especially lacking complex solutions for capitalizing projects in multiple countries if you want to use WBS or internal order element to do so. FSI organizations struggle with that a lot. The initial setup is still cumbersome; lots of tasks should be optimized with AI, such as migration, testing, and configuration of the standard solution to customers' functional requirements.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP HANA Cloud standardizes and optimizes processes across large organizations, is easy to use, and supports growth by following the right structures.

  ### 10. Boosts Finance and Procurement Efficiency with Real-Time Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaik M. | Indirect Procurement Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud mainly as the core system that supports our finance and procurement operations. It helps manage purchasing activities, vendor data, and spend tracking in one centralized platform. The biggest benefit and problem solver is the real-time data processing, which makes reporting faster and improves visibility across departments. Overall, it works as a reliable backend that keeps business processes integrated and consistent within the SAP SE ecosystem. I appreciate having everything integrated into one system, which reduces manual work and improves data accuracy in the SAP SE environment. The different functions work on the same data in one system: procurement, finance, and controlling all see the same purchase order and vendor data, eliminating the need for manual reconciliation. The HR team sees the value in people finance alignment, and the finance team likes the reporting and automation, while IT likes the real-time queries.

**What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?**

Performance can slow down when handling large datasets or running heavy reports. Customization and changes often require technical support, which slows down business teams. Error messages are not always clear, so troubleshooting takes longer than it should. The setup is confusing for newbies, especially regarding accounts, networks, and sizes.

**What problems is SAP HANA Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP HANA Cloud as it centralizes finance and procurement operations, providing real-time data processing that improves reporting and visibility. It integrates functions across departments, reducing manual work and improving data accuracy.
