What do you like best about SAP ECC?

What I like most about SAP ECC is its comprehensive ERP functionality and how it integrates different business processes in one system. I value the flexibility of ABAP customization, including creating custom reports and Module Pool applications, implementing user exits and enhancements, and building OData services with SAP Gateway. I also appreciate the strong data management and transaction processing, and how data flows consistently across modules like MM, SD, and FI. Its stable ERP backend and customization options help me build solutions for business requirements, and I find its reliability valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP ECC?

I find SAP ECC’s interface complex and the learning curve steep, especially for new users and developers. Some configurations and customizations take significant technical knowledge and time, and debugging complex ABAP programs, managing enhancements, and troubleshooting integration issues could be more straightforward. The interface could also be more modern and intuitive. The initial setup can be moderately challenging and time-consuming, requiring planning and technical expertise. Better documentation, simpler navigation, and more beginner-friendly tools would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
