What do you like best about SAP CPQ?

SAP CPQ works well with our existing SAP ecosystem, ERP and S/4HANA, so you get more accurate products and pricing compared to Salesforce CPQ, which doesn't integrate as well with our existing SAP ecosystem. The integrated AI features are great, like the Quoting Assistant that turns unstructured emails and RFQs into draft quotes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP CPQ?

Well, as we began, it was a bit of a challenge to implement. To begin with, it was a bit of a muddle, but as soon as we got an outside expert to take a look and sort it out, and started training our people, everything started running smoothly. What problems is SAP CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

We think the best thing about SAP CPQ is how well it integrates and all the advanced features it offers. Take Guided Selling, for example. They've taken some steps towards this with the new documentation. We're delivering SAP CPQ as a SaaS Cloud solution. It's got these prebuilt connectors that we're using with SAP Integration Suite. It's connected to our other business systems, and for us, it's important for keeping data local and for fast responses, since we're based all over the world. It's pretty clear what the value proposition is, but there is a learning curve. It's great that it can control discounts and make sure all quotes are done right. One thing we've noticed is that SAP CPQ can generate quotes of 10,000 lines or more in seconds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
