"Streamlined Our Quote-to-Cash Process, But Requires Expert Customization and interface can be more friendly for a user who has 0 knowledge of SAP CPQ."

What do you like best about SAP CPQ?

I use SAP CPQ to automate and streamline our quote-to-cash process. It helps our sales team configure complex products, generate accurate pricing, create professional proposals, and produce quotes much faster while reducing manual errors. I like dynamic pricing the most, as it helps us respond faster to customer requirements without compromising pricing governance. It automatically factors in customer-specific contracts, volume tiers, regional pricing, currency, and approved discount thresholds while generating quotes, eliminating manual price calculations. We also use SAP CPQ to standardize approvals and integrate quoting with our CRM and ERP systems for a smoother sales workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP CPQ?

Customizations often require specialized expertise, making changes slower than we'd like. The interface can feel dated in some areas, and performance may slow down when working with very large product catalogs or highly customized quote configurations. Most changes to pricing rules, product configuration logic, approval workflows, and document templates require technical consultants or administrators rather than business users. It would help if SAP CPQ offered more intuitive low-code configuration tools and faster performance for complex quote generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
