## SAP Concur Reviews
 ### 1. Great option

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur makes it easy to track and manage expenses in one place. I like that receipts can be uploaded directly through the app, which saves time and keeps everything organized. The approval workflows are helpful, especially for businesses that need structured expense reporting. It also integrates well with accounting systems, which helps streamline bookkeeping and reimbursement processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface can feel a bit outdated and not very intuitive for new users. There is definitely a learning curve, especially when setting up reports or navigating approvals. Sometimes the system can be slow or require multiple steps to complete simple tasks. Customization can also be limited depending on your organization’s setup.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps keep all expense tracking organized and reduces the need for manual data entry. It makes it easier to manage receipts, submit reports, and track reimbursements. This saves time and improves accuracy, especially for businesses handling frequent expenses or travel-related costs.

 ### 2. Streamlined Expense Coding, But Needs Usability Enhancements to labels

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil G. | Manager - Channel Insights & Automation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I appreciate that SAP Concur makes it easy to code expenses to different project or cost centers. It's quite a simple way to do so. I also love the new enhancement that has you tag specific team members that were at a lunch or work event and you paid the bill. Added accountability that you didn't spend a huge bill on yourself but rather paid for the team. The travel booking feature is also convenient as it considers all available options approved by our company's corporate travel policy. I like the reminders to finish up receipts, which help so I don't forget them, along with the capability for fast payment to credit card companies. I love that SAP Concur comes with TripIt, a very valuable tool for travel planning and watching the travel itinerary. It's great for putting in meetings, restaurants, and hotels in the calendar at the appropriate time zone and informs when travel is delayed or when a hotel is in an unsafe area, allowing for rebooking to a more suitable hotel. The transition from our old e.Expense system to SAP Concur was very slick, with no issues during the transition.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I feel like it's a bit much for new users and it could be more user friendly in all the labels of how to perform those tasks. The average person that's a brand new hire to a company would really struggle in figuring out how to code expenses. Also, sometimes it can get taxes wrong and it doesn't really give me the option to correct the tax problem on a receipt. It will then flow to another team for the correction before heading to my approval chain.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur makes coding expenses to different projects simple and facilitates easy travel booking, aligned with corporate policies.

 ### 3. Streamlines Expense Management, Needs Interface Tweaks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saidheeraj M. | Associate AI/ML instructor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really value the convenience SAP Concur offers in managing work-related expenses. Storing everything digitally and organizing expenses as they occur makes the reporting process manageable and lessens the chances of losing important information. The system's clear tracking of submitted reports, allowing me to easily see when an expense report has been submitted, approved, or processed for reimbursement, provides great transparency. I find the receipt management feature particularly useful as it lets me upload or attach receipts directly to expense entries, which keeps everything organized for submission. The expense report tracking and approval workflow is also fantastic; it allows me to monitor the status of my submitted reports, giving me visibility throughout the approval stages. The automatic expense categorization and policy checks guide me toward selecting the correct expense types, which helps reduce errors and ensures reports align with company policies.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is helpful overall, there are a few aspects that could be improved. One issue is that the interface can sometimes feel a bit cluttered, which may make it harder to quickly find certain options when creating or editing an expense report. New users might need some time to become familiar with where different features are located. Another area that could be improved is the process of editing or correcting submitted expenses. If a mistake is made, going back and adjusting certain details can require several steps. Streamlining this process and making navigation more intuitive would make the overall experience more efficient for users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage work-related expenses and travel. It eliminates manual steps, organizes receipts, ensures policy compliance, and provides clear reimbursement tracking, making the process transparent and efficient.

 ### 4. Really Helpful for College Students to Excel Academically

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpan A. | Co Head, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The Mobile App: It’s very easy to snap a photo of a receipt and have it automatically uploaded and "read" by the system (OCR technology).
• Automation: It tracks mileage and expense reports quickly, which saves a lot of manual data entry.
• Integration: It connects well with other tools like SAP ERP or travel booking sites to keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

User Interface: The desktop version can feel a bit dated and clunky compared to modern apps.
• Approval Workflow: Sometimes the "pathway" an expense takes to get approved can be confusing or get stuck.
• Rigidness: It can be very picky about receipt quality, sometimes rejecting photos that seem clear.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of losing track of paper receipts for project supplies. When buying hardware components, microcontrollers, or motors for university competitions, I can just snap a picture of the receipt through the app. The benefit is that it significantly speeds up the reimbursement process from the school's administration, so I'm not waiting months to get my money back.

 ### 5. Streamlined Expense Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dewesh P. | Cyber Security Engineer, Computer & Network Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like how SAP Concur centralizes travel and expense management in one platform. Submitting expenses and uploading receipts is fairly straightforward once you get used to it. It's great that it integrates with corporate cards because that reduces manual data entry and makes expense tracking easier. Having travel bookings and expense reports in the same platform makes management much easier. The corporate card integration is particularly helpful because most transactions are imported automatically, so I just need to review them, attach the receipt, and submit the report instead of entering everything manually.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing that could be improved is the user interface, which sometimes feels a bit outdated and not very intuitive for new users. Certain tasks like editing expense entries or attaching receipts can take more steps than expected. Occasionally, the system also feels slow when loading reports or switching between sections, which can make the process a bit frustrating for me.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for travel and expense reporting, which organizes everything in one place. It eliminates manual tracking of expenses and receipts, helping with policy compliance and speeding up reimbursements.

 ### 6. Efficient Travel and Expense Management with Mobile Convenience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W.

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really appreciate being able to use SAP Concur on my phone, which allows me to take photos of receipts. This means I can submit expenses in real time, rather than having to save receipts until later. The initial setup was very easy, which made getting started a breeze.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The app on my phone often needs to be closed and reopened in order to refresh properly. Also, it gives too many warnings (i.e., warnings that I can't submit more than 100 line items, which I never do).

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to book travel from anywhere and stay compliant with firm policy. It lets me submit expenses in real time by taking photos of receipts on my phone.

 ### 7. SAP Concur Makes Travel and Expense Reporting Fast, Easy, and Compliant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditee k. | Sr. Digital Marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how convenient it is to manage expenses while traveling. I can access it through both the web platform and the mobile app, so I don’t have to wait until the trip is over to record expenses. The option to simply take a photo of a receipt and upload it instantly saves a lot of effort and removes the need to carry paper receipts. I also like that you can link a corporate card, which makes tracking expenses much easier. The receipt store feature is particularly useful because it allows me to quickly find older receipts without searching through past claims.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing that could be improved is the overall user interface, which feels somewhat old-style. Some workflows also include multiple steps, so completing certain tasks may take a bit longer than expected.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur makes it much easier to track employee expenses and overall spending at an organizational level. Since everything is managed through one integrated platform, generating reports and monitoring expenses becomes more efficient. Another benefit is that the solution is scalable, so companies can start small and expand usage as the organization grows without needing major system changes.

 ### 8. Intuitive Expense Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghej K. | Product Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that SAP Concur is an intuitive platform. You don't need to do a lot of research to be able to use it, which is great for team members who aren't very tech-savvy. It's very easy to just inform them of the steps, and they can follow them themselves.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the biggest challenges I faced with SAP Concur was that it didn't have an option to read bills directly from images. I had to manually keep a click and upload every document. It would have been much easier if I could click an image and have it autofill the information, or if there was a way to automatically fetch information from barcodes or order IDs.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for bulk uploading reimbursement bills and sending them for approval. It's an intuitive platform that makes it easy for my team members, who aren't tech-savvy, to follow steps and get reimbursements efficiently after getting approval. The approval workflow was seamless.

 ### 9. Streamlines Expense Management but Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I mainly use SAP Concur to submit and manage work-related expenses, which makes it easier to upload receipts, create expense reports, and send them for approval without dealing with paperwork. I like that I can track the status of my reports and see when reimbursements are processed. SAP Concur keeps everything organized in one place, which makes the whole reimbursement process smoother and helps avoid losing important documents. It saves a lot of time by simplifying the process of submitting expense reports and tracking approvals. Additionally, uploading receipts is easy, and having everything stored in one place adds to the organization.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing that can be improved is the user interface, as it can sometimes feel a bit outdated and not always very intuitive. Occasionally, finding certain options or navigating between sections takes a little longer than expected.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps organize receipts and expenses in one place, making reporting smoother and preventing lost documents, while simplifying approval tracking and reimbursement.

 ### 10. Effortless Expense Management with AI-Powered Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I find SAP Concur easy to navigate and it makes correcting mistakes effortless. I appreciate being able to refer to past reports, and the ability to upload and re-upload images and invoices is excellent. The AI tools are really helpful as they read off uploaded images and auto-fill some information when I'm submitting expenses, which is a great time-saver. I'm more than satisfied with it, and from my user perspective, it's fairly easy to use and navigate.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I have recently seen the layout change, and it takes a bit of time to get accustomed to it, yet everything is still pretty user-friendly
Sometimes I feel it takes a bit more time for a page to load within the UI. It doesn't impact my user experience critically, though it may not always be smooth when navigating between sections.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for managing expenses and protecting data. It helps me submit and review invoices easily, adjust mistakes effortlessly, and saves time with AI-tools that auto-fill information.
I would also like to add that it is an easy platform to submit any travel expenses when I have business trips or company internal events. You may have a handful of documentation to submit, starting from regular paper receipts and finishing off with digital forms and invoices.

 ### 11. All-in-One Travel, Expense, and Invoice Management with Strong Policy Controls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sairam k. | Senior Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how it brings travel, expense, and invoice management into one platform, which makes the whole process much easier for companies to control. It also has strong policy enforcement and audit capabilities, so organizations can automatically enforce their expense policies. From a developer perspective, the APIs and integration options make it fairly flexible to connect with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA or Oracle ERP. Overall, it solves a real business problem by automating a lot of manual expense and travel processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that some parts of the UI and admin configuration can feel outdated and not very intuitive, especially for new administrators. The implementation and configuration process can also be quite complex, which means it usually requires experienced consultants to set things up properly. Another challenge is that certain customizations are limited, so you sometimes have to work around the system instead of configuring exactly what the business wants. Lastly, troubleshooting integrations or extracts can take time, because logs and error details are not always very transparent.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the problem of managing travel bookings, expense reporting, and reimbursements in a single automated system instead of using manual processes or spreadsheets. It benefits me by saving time on submitting expenses, ensuring policy compliance automatically, and giving better visibility into spending for both employees and finance teams.

 ### 12. One-Stop Hub for Business Travel and Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

One stop for all business travel and expenses. Also it’s centralized system helps to reduce efforts in terms of submission of invoices and plans for payment .

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Mainly the licensing cost of the software is very high and long deployment timings also make it difficult to integrate with the current system. Especially mobile applications have some glitches too.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it’s solving the travel and expense management at the one place. By having everything under one system it allows a smooth flow of the things and more visibility towards finance and planning as well.

 ### 13. Streamlines Expense Management, Needs Improved Upload Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit K. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like the ability to view attached receipts, check expense history, and approve or send reports back for correction in the same platform with SAP Concur. It helps me organize all employees' expenses in one place which is a necessity for keeping track of expenses and adequately reimbursing them. The user interface is really easy to use with nicely organized buttons that clearly show how to perform tasks, and the software works fast. The initial setup was simple.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I had faced this issue once where one of our employees uploaded a receipt but the system didn't catch it and then the person wasn't reimbursed so this really caused a nuisance. It would be better if there were a way to fix this thing.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps me organize and track employee expenses in one place, making the reimbursement process efficient. I can view receipts, check expense history, and approve reports, all in the same platform, streamlining what was once a tedious manual task.

 ### 14. Powerful Expense Management but Needs UI Refinement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shrey B. | Freelancer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how SAP Concur has simplified the way I handle business travel with its standout mobile app. The app allows me to take a quick photo of a receipt at a restaurant, and it automatically uploads and begins the expense entry process. I appreciate the lack of need to track physical paper receipts, and the integration with our corporate cards so that most transactions show up automatically. The approval workflow is transparent, letting me know exactly when my reimbursement is processed. I really enjoy how SAP Concur streamlines the entire expense process, particularly with the AI (ExpenseIt) feature that automatically pulls receipt details like date, vendor, and amount, which saves a lot of time. I also value the real-time visibility into my reimbursement status, with notifications when a report is approved or sent for payment, making things transparent and stress-free. The mobile app acts like a pocket assistant that's all about speed and convenience. Features like on-the-go approvals for travel requests or expense reports help eliminate bottlenecks and speed up reimbursements by up to 50%. The Drive feature automatically captures mileage, ensuring accurate reimbursement. I also appreciate the integration with tools like TripIt Pro and Microsoft Outlook, which helps organize travel itineraries and align expense reporting with daily workflows.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While powerful for large-scale control, SAP Concur is frequently criticized for its complex user experience and technical rigidities. Key areas for improvement include: User Interface (UI): The design is often described as dated and non-intuitive, leading to a steep learning curve for new users compared to modern SaaS alternatives. Mobile App Reliability: Users report frequent crashes, glitches, and slow receipt uploads that can make on-the-go reporting frustrating. Complexity & Speed: Many workflows, such as hotel itemization, are cumbersome and take significantly longer than they would on more streamlined platforms. Admin Overhead: Implementation is often long and resource-heavy, typically taking 6–12 months for global rollouts, and the backend requires significant IT involvement to maintain. Support & Pricing: Customer support response times can be inconsistent, and the lack of transparent, public pricing makes it difficult for companies to forecast costs as they scale.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur simplifies business travel and expense management by eliminating paper receipts, automating data entry, and providing real-time reimbursement updates. It integrates with corporate cards, accelerates approvals, and manages travel itineraries, making expense reporting efficient and transparent.

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It makes travel management more organised. It’s easy to submit expenses, track approvals, and manage receipts, which saves time and helps optimise processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Although it’s easy to use overall, there’s still a learning curve. It isn’t as intuitive as some other platforms. For example, submitting expenses can be a bit more complicated than it needs to be.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage business expenses and book flights or trains for business events while keeping all business travel expenses and processes in one platform. This saves time, reduces errors, and makes it much easier to track expenses and get reimbursed faster.

I use SAP Concur primarily for expense claims, which I find really helpful as it allows me to make these claims directly on my mobile phone. I like that it's easy to use and the claims can be processed quickly. Even though I don't use it very often, I find the user experience straightforward and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The initial setup was challenging due to our complex business and tax rules around mileage and per diem reimbursements.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for expense claims on my mobile phone. It's easy to use, and claims can be processed quickly. The UX is straightforward and intuitive, though I don't use it very often. I haven't encountered any particular problems using it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I appreciate SAP Concur's easy integration with banking and payment partners, particularly how it aggregates expenses made with an AMEX corporate card. The app simplifies travel planning directly within SAP Concur, eliminating the need for third-party bookings, and the company manages the process entirely. I also value the workflow it provides for budget approvals, declaring expenses, and reimbursements, making these processes straightforward and efficient. SAP Concur's systematics allow financial analysts to audit expenses smoothly, which contributes to a seamless experience.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The hotel booking option does not provide proper reviews, and it's hard to choose a hotel from the SAP Concur site. It would be better if there were options to add reviews, photos, or at least integrate with Google to get reviews and ratings of the hotels listed.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for planning business travel and managing expenses. It integrates expenses from my AMEX corporate card, allowing easy report creation and approvals. Its integration with banks and in-app travel planning, bypassing third-party bookings, streamlines our company processes.

Additionally, the initial setup of SAP Concur is easy, which allows me to start submitting expenses and creating reports quickly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The SAP Concur interface is too complicated for new users, and they have to struggle to use it. The process time should be increased because sometimes it's slow in making reports. The initial setup is easy, but new users need training, and full configuration takes some time. The interface could be simplified with a simpler dashboard, reduced steps for making and submitting reports, speeding up of page loading, ease of editing steps and menus, and providing autofill in columns.

Cost: SAP Concur can be expensive. Its subscription-based model may be costly for organizations, especially once add-ons for expanded features are included.

User experience issues: Even with an intuitive interface, some users have run into user experience problems, such as occasional navigation challenges and limited customization options.

Mobile limitations: Although SAP Concur offers mobile capabilities, some users have noted that these features are not as comprehensive or interactive as those offered by modern alternatives like Expensify. This may be a drawback for organizations that emphasize a mobile-first approach.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve several business problems, including error-prone expense submissions. By automating the process, it supports more consistent and accurate expense reporting. It also addresses delayed reimbursements by streamlining the reimbursement workflow and reducing the time it takes for employees to be reimbursed for their expenses. In addition, it helps with a lack of visibility into expenses by providing real-time insight into organizational spending, which enables finance teams to monitor and manage costs more effectively. Finally, it supports policy compliance: with configurable workflows and AI-driven tools, it helps employees follow company spending policies and reduces the risk of non-compliance.

 ### 22. Effortless to Use and Easy to Get Started

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne P. | Communications manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is the ease of use. The interface is straightforward and makes it simple to submit and track expenses without feeling overwhelmed. I also appreciate how organized the platform is, which helps keep everything in one place and makes the process much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that some parts of the interface can feel a little clunky or require a few extra clicks to complete simple tasks. Occasionally it takes a moment to find exactly where certain options or reports are located. While it’s generally easy to use once you’re familiar with it, the navigation could be a bit more streamlined to make the process even faster and more intuitive for users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve the problem of managing and tracking expenses in an organized way. Instead of dealing with scattered receipts or manual tracking, everything is centralized in one system. This makes it much easier to submit, review, and keep records of expenses. For me, it saves time, reduces confusion, and helps ensure that everything is documented properly, which makes the overall expense reporting process much more efficient.

 ### 23. Convenient but Needs UI and Speed Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsh S. | Associate Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I love that with SAP Concur, I can just take a photo or screenshot of my bill from my phone, and it uploads directly. It saves me from keeping physical paper bills in my wallet. The ability to track reimbursement status clearly is another thing I really like. I also appreciate that SAP Concur is connected with Microsoft Outlook in our company, allowing me to get all my flight and hotel booking details directly in the app. The link with our bank corporate cards makes it easy to track my spending without manually entering everything. This is much better than the old manual Excel entries I heard about from my seniors.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The mobile app is sometimes very slow and takes time to load my past reports. Also the UI looks very old, like softwares from 10 years ago, they should make it more modern. One more thing is that the OCR (capturing text of bills) fails if the bill is a bit blurry, so I have to enter details manually which is annoying.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to submit travel and meal expenses. It securely stores receipts, streamlines approvals, and provides clear reimbursement tracking. Integrating with Outlook and corporate cards, it simplifies spend tracking compared to manual Excel and emails.

 ### 24. Centralized Travel Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan K. | Bigdata Platform Architect at HCL Technologies Limited, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like using SAP Concur for travel booking, bill uploads, and checking the status of expenses. The reporting feature is also quite useful. It's great that I can book flights, hotels, and taxis, and also upload receipt images using the mobile app and track the status easily. I also appreciate the easy expense report creation and the single dashboard for tracking travel and getting policy alerts. It has centralized features for managing business travel, which has been a significant advantage over the internal tool I used earlier.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I feel the UI interface is a little complex and could be improved for a better user experience. The mobile application module interface, in particular, needs enhancements. Also, the slow performance and limited mobile features are areas that need attention. Initially, setting it up wasn't easy, especially aligning with company policy, approval flow, and integration with ERP.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur mainly solves the complexity of business travel and expense management with compliance. I use it for expense management, travel management, invoice management, compliance, and reporting. It simplifies travel booking and receipt capturing and keeps track of expenses with alerts.

 ### 25. Transforms Expense Management with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan O. | Senior Business Analyst API and Partneships, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I think SAP Concur is pretty good and easy to use. I like that you can add products while you're out on the go, so you don't have to hold on to receipts. It's great for people who tend to lose receipts needed for expenses because you can open the app, take a photo, and attach it, making it very easy to do your expenses.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It's possibly more specific to our organization, how we've set up the expense categories and codes, but I've found that a couple of companies that I've worked for have lots of expense codes, which sometimes make you double guess what you're actually gonna assign it to.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur streamlines expense management for over 1,500 staff without needing to issue credit cards. Approvals are easy for line managers, and it allows quick payments by AP. It's user-friendly, lets me handle expenses on the go, and eliminates the need to keep paper receipts.

 ### 26. Revolutionized Expense Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel B. | Backend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur primarily for corporate expense management and reporting. I love the SAP Concur mobile app, especially the ExpenseIt feature. The ability to snap a photo of a receipt immediately and have the AI automatically extract details is a game-changer, ensuring I don't forget small expenses. The Expenselt feature significantly speeds up my reimbursement cycle by intelligently matching the receipt with the corresponding corporate credit card transaction. This Smart Matching feature eliminates the need for manual reconciliation, providing a clear audit trail. Additionally, the integration with my corporate credit card means my bank transactions automatically flow into my Concur profile, ensuring 100% accurate reporting and eliminating manual data entry. After switching from a manual spreadsheet-based process, moving to Concur was a massive upgrade in terms of speed, visibility, and reducing the risk of lost documentation. It turned a week-long approval process into something that happens in just a couple of days.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While the platform is powerful, the GUI feels a bit dated compared to more modern SaaS tools. The navigation on the desktop version can be somewhat non-intuitive for new users, requiring a bit of a learning curve to find specific settings or historical reports. A more streamlined, modern design would make the daily experience much smoother. One area that could use enhancement is the offline capability and overall system responsiveness. In locations with poor cell service (like airports or remote client sites), the mobile app can sometimes struggle to save drafts or upload receipts, leading to lost progress. Additionally, more proactive notifications regarding system outages or maintenance would be helpful so users don't spend time troubleshooting what turns out to be a platform-wide issue.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage corporate expenses efficiently. It automates receipt entry, saving me 50% of the time on reports. The Expenselt feature integrates receipts with credit card transactions for accuracy and convenience, transforming our process speed, visibility, and reducing lost documentation risks.

 ### 27. Powerful Receipt Scanning and Splits, but a Complex UI for New Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ebrahim Kashif M. | Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I liked most is the receipt-scanning tool. You can upload multiple receipts at once, and the tool scans them and automatically categorises the expenses, saving time and energy. I also like the grouping feature, where you can create a group head and, under that, add related expenses like food or telecom. Another useful option is the split-up feature for expenses, where you can split your bills and add the team members who were part of the expense, etc.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The UI feels quite complex, and for first-time users or beginners it isn’t very user-friendly. They may need some training on the tool to get started. Unlike other tools like ADP or Allsec, where you can claim expenses and, even though it’s not a full-fledged expense management tool, new users can still guide themselves easily, this one takes more effort to navigate at the beginning.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m not sure how well it solves problems at the finance level, but for me it’s helpful because it lets me track my claims and reimbursements for all types of expenses in one place.

 ### 28. Streamlined Expense Workflow with Strong Policy Controls

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishan T. | Customer Success Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

From a support and operations perspective, SAP Concur does a solid job of organizing the full expense and reimbursement workflow. The platform standardizes how expenses are submitted, reviewed, and approved, which helps cut down on inconsistencies in reimbursement processes across different teams. One aspect I found especially useful while supporting the tool was the level of control available through policies, expense types, and approval flows. This makes it easier for organizations to enforce compliance and maintain clear visibility into employee expenses. The reporting features and audit trail are also valuable when investigating issues or tracking reimbursement status.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One challenge with SAP Concur is that parts of the interface and certain configuration settings can feel complex, particularly for new users or administrators. Although the system is powerful, troubleshooting issues with expense reports, policy violations, or receipt matching can sometimes take longer than expected. At times, the overall user experience could be streamlined by reducing the number of steps required to complete specific actions. Clearer error messages and more informative system notifications would also make it easier to resolve issues for both end users and support teams.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps organizations streamline expense management by offering a centralized platform to submit, approve, and reimburse employee expenses. From a support perspective, it cuts down on manual tracking through emails or spreadsheets and helps ensure expense policies are applied consistently. When employees submit expense reports in the platform, it creates a clear, structured workflow for approvals and reimbursement processing. Overall, this improves transparency, reduces administrative overhead, and makes it easier for finance and support teams to track, manage, and resolve reimbursement-related issues.

 ### 29. Simple, Straightforward Automation That Reduces Manual Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cun j. | Sr. Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Simple and pretty straightforward, it can automate the process and reduce manual work. From choose categaries, fill in data then submit until it's got approved, after the process setup, it's set up to align with the policy compliance.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

At the beginning, it's a bit complex to go through the configuration and the list; after 2-3 submissions, it's better to choose among categories. Still a bit to understand the different expense category for first time claim that type of categary, but it's fine.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Concre, the company collects expense information, then gets approved and expensed. As a result, the report can be easily created based on the data and shown from the BI tools.

 ### 30. Streamlined Expense Management with Slightly Complex UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed I. | Senior Consultant, Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the transparency SAP Concur provides throughout the reimbursement process. It keeps me informed about the progress at every stage, making tracking submissions easy. The cash advance feature is also particularly useful for corporate employees and consultants like me who travel frequently, as it allows us to request a cash advance before a trip and then submit claims against expenses incurred during travel. Overall, expense management is smoother and more efficient with SAP Concur, which is very useful for frequent travelers. Real-time tracking is very useful because it keeps me updated on the status of my reimbursements at each stage without needing to follow up. SAP Concur adds more value as it also shows all my card transactions, which eases my expense details addition process. The initial setup was also easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface feels slightly complex. While raising the cash advance, there's no option to enter the amount at first; only after saving does it allow you to add the amount. Such small tweaks in the tool are necessary.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur centralizes expense management, helping manage expenses without data mishaps. It simplifies bill uploading via mobile, offers real-time claim tracking, and integrates card transactions for easier expense detailing. The cash advance feature is invaluable for frequent travelers like me.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fraser D. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like the mobile app for SAP Concur. It's a game-changer because I can handle my expenses on the go without waiting to get back to my desk, which is pretty sweet. The mobile app lets me upload receipts right when I get them, so there's no chance to lose them. Plus, being able to approve stuff without being tied to my laptop is super handy when I'm running around. It integrates well with our finance system, making life easier when everything's in sync. Overall, it's reliable and makes expense management a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Yeah. Sometimes the approval workflows feel a bit clunky. Like, you've gotta click through a few too many steps. If that got a bit more streamlined, I'd be laughing.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, SAP Concur takes the headache out of keeping track of all my receipts. Instead of rummaging through a pile, I just snap a pic and submit them digitally.

 ### 32. Good for Expense Management, Cumbersome for Archiving

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasja S. | Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I do like how SAP Concur populates information, making it easy to understand once you use it enough. Depending on your access, you can make the information you see or put in as intense or as little as you want.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes it isn't helpful with moving through months. I want to see information that has been deposited in a month before, and there isn't really a way to access archived history easily without having to do several steps to get there. I would say to make the feature of seeing past information easier.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur organizes receipts and helps figure out purchasing details. It populates information, making it easier to understand with use, and allows you to control the intensity of the information viewed or inputted.

SAP Concur is often used alongside other financial and accounting tools within the organization to further streamline reporting, financial tracking, and reimbursement processes by allowing data to flow smoothly between systems, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort. With an initial setup that was manageable, it was mainly about setting up details and learning how to submit expenses and upload receipts, becoming quite smooth and easy to follow after a short learning period. I would rate my likelihood of recommending SAP Concur as a 9 out of 10, as it is a reliable platform for managing expense reports and travel-related reimbursements, and it streamlines the overall expense management process effectively.

A more streamlined interface with clearer navigation and fewer steps would make these tasks quicker and more user-friendly.

It's a game-changer for us as it eliminated the shoebox full of receipts and constant back-and-forth emails. The automation easily cut our reimbursement turnaround time in half. The mobile app's OCR technology and ERP integration are main selling points. We also integrate SAP Concur with SAP S/4HANA to automate financial postings and use the Uber and Lyft integration, which makes receipts from business rides automatically flow into our expense report without lifting a finger. Even though the initial setup had a steep learning curve due to the high level of customization available, the upfront effort was worth it since the system now runs almost entirely on autopilot. I would definitely recommend it to others, as it's a massive time saver.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I find the mobile app stability to be an issue and have experienced receipt management hurdles. The interface can be cumbersome, and the administrative setup is complex. Also, I've had some security concerns.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur automates and centralizes travel booking, expense reporting, and invoice processing, cutting reimbursement time in half. It unifies fragmented processes into one platform, eliminating manual receipt handling and constant emails.

 ### 45. Powerful Compliance Platform with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshu kumar S. | Associate Consultant, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I love how SAP Concur bridges the gap between an employee's mobile phone and a corporate General Ledger without needing anyone to be an accountant. The ExpenseIt AI and the Financial Integration (FI) API do the heavy lifting, which used to require weeks of manual work. I appreciate that I can configure complex global tax rules once, and then it automatically calculates VAT for thousands of users in different countries. The real-time visibility it provides is fantastic; seeing a "spent vs. budget" dashboard update instantly feels like magic compared to the old methods. The platform shifts my role from a reactive data-entry clerk to a proactive financial strategist, which is incredibly satisfying.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

My biggest frustration is how the user interface can sometimes feel like a step back in time compared to modern consumer apps. Even with the recent 'refreshed' home page rollouts, the deep configuration menus still feel clunky and require way too many clicks to perform simple tasks, which leads to 'Concur fatigue' for my end-users. From a developer standpoint, the reporting side (Intelligence) has always felt a bit rigid; trying to build a custom, highly specific dashboard for a CFO often feels like you're fighting the system rather than working with it. I also find that the mobile app’s performance can be inconsistent across different devices, occasionally crashing or failing to sync receipts at the exact moment a traveler is trying to hurry through an airport.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to automate expense management, eliminating data entry errors and fraud. It provides real-time visibility, replacing chaotic manual processes with a seamless data flow, and allows for automated global compliance to protect the company's finances.

 ### 46. SAP Concur Makes Expense and Travel Management Simple and Transparent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is how it simplifies expense management and travel processes that can otherwise be time-consuming. It makes it much easier to capture receipts, submit expenses, and track reimbursements all in one place. Instead of keeping paper receipts or trying to remember details later, everything can be uploaded and organized quickly, which saves a lot of effort.

Another thing I appreciate is the transparency it provides. You can easily see the status of submitted expenses and understand where they are in the approval process. This reduces uncertainty and makes the whole reimbursement process feel smoother.

It also helps teams stay consistent with company policies, since guidelines and limits are built into the system. Overall, SAP Concur takes a process that can be frustrating and turns it into something much more manageable and efficient, allowing people to focus more on their work instead of administrative tasks.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that the interface can sometimes feel a bit complicated, especially for new users. It may take some time to understand where everything is and how to complete certain tasks, such as submitting expenses or correcting a report. A simpler and more intuitive layout would make the experience much smoother.

Another challenge is that small errors can slow down the process. For example, if a receipt is missing or a field is filled in incorrectly, the report may be sent back for corrections, which can be frustrating and time-consuming.

The mobile app is helpful for capturing receipts, but it does not always work as smoothly as expected. Occasionally, syncing or uploading receipts can take longer than it should.

Overall, while SAP Concur is useful for managing travel and expenses, improving the user interface and making the process a bit more straightforward would make it a much better experience for users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the common problems of managing travel bookings, expense tracking, and reimbursements in a more organized and digital way. In many workplaces, these processes used to involve keeping paper receipts, filling out manual forms, and sending emails back and forth for approvals. This could easily lead to lost receipts, delays, and confusion about the status of reimbursements.

With SAP Concur, everything is centralized in one system. Receipts can be uploaded directly, expenses can be categorized quickly, and reports can be submitted for approval without needing multiple steps or paperwork. This helps reduce administrative work and makes the whole process more efficient.

For me, the biggest benefit is the convenience and transparency it provides. I can easily track my expenses, see when they are approved, and know when to expect reimbursement. It saves time and reduces the stress of managing receipts and expense claims, allowing me to focus more on my actual work rather than administrative tasks.

 ### 47. Convenient Expense Management with SAP Concur

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shashank K. | Lead Quality Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like how SAP Concur is very convenient for me. What stands out is the ability to upload receipts directly and create expense reports quickly. I love being able to track approvals all in one place, which saves a lot of time. The process is also more transparent and efficient. I don't need to carry physical copies anymore because I can upload them directly. Setting up was easy and straightforward. It just becomes really easy to work on and create expense reports, especially after the account is set up by the Admin. I also appreciate that it gives accurate data.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface can be improved as it sometimes feels complex when editing expense reports. It could be better by reducing the number of steps required to create an expense report or having a simple dashboard to see uploaded receipts, pending approvals, and completed transactions on a single page.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to upload receipts and create expense reports. It ensures my expenses follow company policy, speeds up reimbursement, and streamlines the process with receipt uploads and approval tracking, making it transparent and efficient.

 ### 48. SAP Concur Streamlines Travel & Expense Management with a Handy Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is how it simplifies and streamlines expense and travel management in one integrated platform. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, emails, and paper receipts, everything is centralized and easy to track. The mobile app is especially helpful—it allows you to capture receipts instantly, submit expenses on the go, and keep things moving without waiting to get back to the office.

I also appreciate the visibility it provides. Managers can review and approve expenses quickly, and employees can see exactly where their reports stand in the approval process. That transparency reduces confusion and follow-up emails.

Another standout feature is the policy compliance automation. Built-in controls help ensure expenses align with company guidelines, which minimizes errors and reduces back-and-forth corrections. Overall, SAP Concur saves time, increases accuracy, and makes what used to be a tedious administrative task much more manageable and efficient.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One thing I dislike about SAP Concur is that the interface can feel cluttered and not very intuitive, especially for new users. Finding certain features or reports sometimes takes more clicks than it should, and the navigation isn’t always as straightforward as you’d expect from a modern platform.

Another frustration is occasional system lag or slow load times, particularly when uploading receipts or generating detailed expense reports. When you’re trying to submit something quickly, those delays can be irritating.

I’ve also noticed that error messages can be vague. If an expense gets flagged, it’s not always immediately clear what needs to be corrected, which leads to trial and error instead of a simple fix.

While SAP Concur is powerful and comprehensive, the overall user experience could be smoother and more user-friendly to match the strength of its functionality.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur is solving the problem of manual, time-consuming expense and travel management. In many organizations, tracking receipts, submitting claims, and getting approvals used to involve spreadsheets, paper forms, and long email threads. That process was not only slow but also prone to errors and compliance issues.

By automating expense reporting and integrating travel booking with company policies, SAP Concur reduces administrative burden. Expenses can be captured digitally, matched to transactions, and routed automatically for approval. Built-in policy checks help prevent non-compliant spending before it becomes a bigger issue.

For me, the biggest benefit is time savings and better visibility. I can submit expenses quickly, track their status in real time, and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth. It also improves accuracy, which means fewer corrections and faster reimbursements. Overall, it makes financial processes more efficient and transparent, allowing me to focus more on core responsibilities rather than administrative tasks.

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur to manage and submit business expenses and travel reimbursements. It helps me upload receipts, create expense reports, and track spending in one place. This platform simplifies the approval process and makes reimbursements faster and more organized. I like how easy it is to submit and track expense reports. The receipt upload feature and automated expense tracking save time and make the reimbursement process much faster. I also like the clear and clean dashboard and the ability to track the status of submitted expenses. It helps me see approvals and reimbursement progress easily, making the whole expense management process more transparent and efficient. Additionally, the automatic expense sync with ERP system data reduces manual work and improves accuracy. The initial setup of SAP Concur was direct and fast, easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Sometimes the interface can feel a bit complex for new users, and the system may take time to load certain pages. Simplifying the UI and improving performance would make the experience better.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage business expenses and travel reimbursements. It simplifies the expense reporting process, reduces manual work, and offers a clear dashboard to track approvals, saving time and ensuring efficiency.
