"Powerful, Flexible Commerce—With a Steep Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I like SAP Commerce Cloud’s flexibility and comprehensive e-commerce capabilities. I can manage product catalogs, customer data, orders, and multiple sales channels from one platform. I also value its integration with other SAP solutions, scalability, and customization options, which help businesses create personalized shopping experiences and adapt to changing requirements. It has strong enterprise features, and the documentation is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I found the learning curve challenging, especially for new developers and administrators. Initial setup, configuration, and customization can be complex and time-consuming, and setting up the development environment, extensions, dependencies, and SAP integrations requires technical knowledge. I’d like more practical examples and step-by-step setup guidance. The Backoffice could have simpler navigation, better search and filtering, and a more user-friendly layout. Managing environments, extensions, integrations, and customizations, along with debugging errors and deploying changes, could also be more straightforward. Better error messages and debugging tools would help me identify and resolve issues faster. Once the initial configuration is done, development becomes more manageable.
