What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

Licensing fees are among the highest on the market, often reaching six or seven figures per year. Deploying or migrating to the platform can also take 6 to 18+ months, largely because configuring the data models, custom business logic, and integrations is complex and time-consuming. What problems is SAP Commerce Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We deal with multi-system fragmentation, where product catalogs, customer pricing, inventory, and order fulfillment all live in separate silos across ERP, CRM, and PIM. What I value here is the native, bidirectional integration with backend systems (like SAP S/4HANA). It gives real-time access to accurate pricing rules, credit checks, custom contracts, and cross-channel inventory updates, without relying on complex third-party middleware.
