What do you like best about SAP Ariba?

I'm confident in the software because the planning assumptions now have dates and source data that have to be verifiable and trusted by executive directors. The time it takes to get the annual plan's spend data ready has gone down from five weeks to nine days. The refresh for a scenario is an afternoon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Ariba?

We had a bit of a rough time when catalog mapping was an issue. We were getting 40% of our spend in a bucket with no name under an entity name that was interpreted to be a region and it was conflicting with the entity name that is assigned. Once we'd scrubbed our database to get rid of any vendors we didn't need, it took three weeks to set up our custom tree. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAP Ariba solving and how is that benefiting you?

The annual strategy dataset has been whittled down from a five-week prep period to just nine days. It takes an afternoon to refresh the scenarios, and the uncategorised spend went down from 38% to 6% in our business units in the region. Early warning of uncovered vendors.
