## SaneBox Reviews
 ### 1. Brought Sanity to My Inbox and Boosted Email Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorrit L. | President, COO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox has done exactly what its name suggests: brought sanity to my inbox. I am vastly more efficient managing email than I used to be.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I would like to see it get smarter about filtering based on content as well as sender. Right now that can be done, but requires more manual intervention.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get dozens, sometimes hundreds of emails a day. Before I started using SaneBox, I routinely told people that if they needed me to see something, they had to text me (or email, then text me to look for the email). Even with spam filters and Gmail's native filtering, I simply got too many messages, organized too chaotically, for me to be sure I would see important emails in a timely fashion. With the organization and automation SaneBox has brought to my inbox, I no longer worry that I will miss critical emails. Non-spam junk is filtered so I can skim it occasionally if I want. Emails are sorted into relevant categories, so I can batch process related kinds of information without context switching and so I can easily prioritize what to review when/how often. It is game changing.

 ### 2. The most amazing inbox manager! Saves so much time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. K. | Chief Technical Officer and Director of SEO Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how Sanbox can be configured so easily to go through my inbox and make sure everything ends up sorted into the right folders for later use. It saves me so much time. I can honestly say it saves me 10+ hours per week and means I don’t need an assistant. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without it.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

The only thing I’d mention is that you have to configure it through another website, and sometimes you need to search around and fine-tune the settings to get everything just right.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sanebox is helping me solve inbox management and dealing with spam. I can easily to through hundreds of daily emails in less than 10 minutes now with the smart sorting features.

 ### 3. Effortless Email Management, Seamlessly Integrated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how SaneBox automatically files and filters my incoming email on both my personal and work accounts, making it easier to manage. The way it handles newsletters with the "SaneNews," for example. The "SaneLater" filter is my favorite since it allows me to review non-urgent mails at my convenience. For the most part, it just works, and having only a manageable amount of emails in my Inbox helps me focus on important tasks without feeling overwhelmed. Its native integration with Gmail is great, as I don’t have to think about it too much. Re-training is simple, just dragging the email from one label to another. Setting up was very easy, and their support was super quick to solve my problem. I also found SaneBox to be an affordable alternative to other products I tried.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

Two things: (1) I wish that to un-train, rather than "re-train," it were a bit easier. Essentially you need to both remove the label AND move it to the Inbox. (2) The detection isn't perfect, so you need to stay on top of it a little bit, but moreso early on. I often found that SaneReceipts was so great that I would NEVER look at it, then suddenly discover there was a conversation happening around an invoice my company sent or something. I wish that if a reply/forward came in relative to something in SaneReceipts, that it would automatically move it OUT of SaneReceipts, to call my attention to it.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox reduces email overwhelm by automatically filtering non-urgent emails, so I can address important ones without stress. It works well with Gmail, keeping my inbox manageable.

 ### 4. Efficient Email Management, Minor Categorization Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aidan H. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how SaneBox filters out unimportant emails almost instantaneously, saving me from receiving unnecessary notifications on my phone. Their website functionality is impressive and doesn't get bogged down by slow visuals. The billing is logical and the smooth experience reduces anxiety and creates predictability about costs. I've found the initial setup very easy, and I was thrilled to see my inbox count reduce by a third in minutes, thanks to handing over some email management control to AI. SaneBox allows me to focus on what's actually important, helping me respond faster to important emails by increasing my attention capacity.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I'm sometimes not 100% sure how to permanently re-categorize incorrectly filtered emails (i.e. whether I can do that on mobile, or whether I have to use my computer's Gmail website to do that). Perhaps there should be a tighter automated feedback loop to verify that a sender will show up in the inbox in future. I recommended it to my old high school's alumni organisation, but they found the cost a bit steep.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox filters out unimportant emails, saving me time by reducing spam and distractions. It helps me respond faster to important emails due to increased attention capacity. The smooth billing and quick filtering make email management seamless, cutting my inbox count by a third.

 ### 5. Effortless Email Management with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas P. | Software Developer

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I love how simple SaneBox is to set up. It just connects and links with my Fastmail account and works out of the box, creating three compartments: important emails in Inbox, less important ones to SaneLater, and those not important at all to SaneNews. I find this organization incredibly helpful. The AI used in SaneNews and SaneLater to sort all the emails is fantastic, and the value for the price is great.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

There's a problem with SaneBox when it comes to handling notifications for important emails. I use Fastmail, and it's tricky because I can only choose between getting notifications for all emails or just selected VIP ones. I can't get notifications specifically for those that end up only in the inbox, which is something SaneBox based on IMAP doesn't currently support.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SaneBox simplifies my email management by sorting my emails into compartments like Inbox, SaneLater, and SaneNews. It helps in identifying important emails easily and is simple to set up.

 ### 6. Keeps My Inbox Organized and My Workflow Stress-Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly-Anne T. | Executive Personal Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It keeps my workflow clean and tidy. The filters I’ve set up for sorting my emails make my day feel much less chaotic.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I dont have any particular dislikes, I thinks its a good tool.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox literally keeps my mailbox sane. It automatically sorts email into categories once you’ve trained it, and the Blackhole for spam means I never have to see those messages again. There’s also a CC folder, so anything I’m CC’d on goes straight into that mailbox, etc. Overall, it makes the daily flow of incoming email much more efficient, so I’m not wading through spam just to get to the actual work emails.

 ### 7. SaneBox: The Only Tool That Truly Solved My Email Overload ⭐️

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pinky A. | Immigration Attorney, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I like SaneBox's automatic filtering feature, which organizes less important emails into separate folders and allows me to focus on the important emails that remain in my inbox. I use features like SaneLater and SaneNews daily to review emails at a more convenient time and recategorize them when needed. I also appreciate the SaneBox Daily Digest, which gives me a quick summary of the number of filtered emails and shows how many would otherwise have cluttered my inbox. As a solo attorney who receives a high volume of emails, I find these features incredibly helpful. I had tried many email clients and apps before, but none effectively solved the email filtering problem the way SaneBox does. I've been using SaneBox for a year now, and I continue to use it because it has consistently helped me stay organized and productive. I don't see myself stopping its use anytime soon.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I do not have any major dislikes about SaneBox. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the user interface, which is fairly basic and not particularly modern. However, since SaneBox works primarily behind the scenes and performs its functions exceptionally well, this has never affected my overall experience.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using SaneBox, my inbox was overwhelming. Important emails from clients, potential clients, and even government notifications were often mixed with newsletters, marketing emails, software notifications, and other less important messages, making it easy for important emails to get buried and overlooked. SaneBox solved this problem by automatically filtering less important emails into separate folders while keeping important messages in my inbox. I can also easily train the system by recategorizing emails when needed. As a result, I spend less time managing my inbox. I'm more productive and have greater confidence that I am not missing important communications.

 ### 8. Intuitive Email Management with SaneBox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Enterprise Sales Engineer - New England, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

I really like SaneBox because it's super intuitive and easy to use. The drag and drop method and pre-built folders make setting up my email very straightforward. I also love how I can use multiple email boxes, and the ability to create custom folders is really helpful. The feature that I love the most is the drag and drop functionality because I don't have to think about managing my email box or setting up rules, which I used to hate. If an email doesn't go to the right box, I just move it where it should go. Once you set up the whole admin background, it's just easy to use on autopilot. The receipts folder is cleverly done, and I find the overall ease of use to be one of the most important aspects. SaneBox isn't all up in my face; once it's working, it's just working, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

N/A

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SaneBox to organize my inbox and prioritize tasks, making email management easier across multiple accounts. It helps me know what to work on and when, reducing the difficulty of managing daily communication.

 ### 9. SaneBox Makes a High-Volume Inbox Manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott W. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

SaneBox makes a high-volume inbox manageable. In 2025, I received 68,380 emails, had 407 emails on my busiest day, and SaneBox archived 68,633 emails while saving me an estimated 416 hours.

What I like best is that SaneBox helps separate the emails that need my attention from the ones that can wait. That makes it much easier to stay focused and not feel buried by my inbox. I would have a hard time keeping up with email without it.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I do not have any real dislikes. The hardest part is simply following their process and giving SaneBox the time it needs to learn how you want your email sorted. Once you commit to the process and train it properly, it works extremely well.

For me, the setup and learning period is worth it because of the time and effort it saves every day.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaneBox is solving the problem of email overload. I receive a high volume of email, and without a system to sort and prioritize it, my inbox can quickly become overwhelming.

In 2025, I received 68,380 emails, with 407 emails on my busiest day. SaneBox archived 68,633 emails and saved me an estimated 416 hours. That time savings is the biggest benefit for me.

SaneBox helps move lower-priority emails out of the way so I can focus on the messages that actually need my attention. It makes email much more manageable, reduces the time I spend sorting through my inbox, and helps me stay focused during the workday.

 ### 10. Sanebox .... it made me sane again

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about SaneBox?**

It’s so easy to set up and use on a daily basis. It has already saved me a lot of time, and I feel my company is a bit more secure now because the bad emails are being filtered out before they reach my inbox.

**What do you dislike about SaneBox?**

I can’t really say anything bad about it. Everything works perfectly.

**What problems is SaneBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sanebox helps my business sift through spam emails that could otherwise impact the business in a negative way. When you consider that an employee can spend 10–15 minutes per day moving and deleting spam emails, that’s a huge amount of time saved.
