What I love most about Salesmate is how flexible the whole platform is. Unlike other CRMs that lock you into fixed sales pipelines, I could build everything to match our consumer electronics CX workflow all on my own, no developer help required. I personally set up custom fields for device serial numbers, warranty expiry dates, complaint categories and retail partner tiers, all details we absolutely need to manage gadget customers. Last quarter, we were working with our partner Texas Retail Electronics Inc for their bulk gadget resale program. Back when we were still using our old system, we stored their end-user warranty feedback and replacement requests in separate files. We messed up a batch of their customer records once and nearly delayed their product replacement schedule. After I imported all their data and built a dedicated pipeline stage inside Salesmate, I was able to track every user complaint and partner request on one shared timeline. I also rely daily on task reminders and automatic email sync. We hold regular weekly CX reviews with distributor Dallas Device Distribution Co. to check unresolved customer issues. The task alerts keep me from forgetting high-priority follow-up checks. Every email I send to partners or reply to for customer support automatically attaches to the matching contact profile. The dashboard stays straightforward too; teammates who are not familiar with CRM software can quickly add meeting notes or update case status without long training. All customer and partner information lives in one place, cutting down costly human mistakes and helping our small team deliver consistent customer experience for gadget buyers and retail partners alike. Salesmate works solidly for our core customer experience tracking, but two recurring limitations keep adding manual labor and operational risk to my daily CX work. The biggest headache is the reporting module, which is clearly designed around sales revenue metrics instead of customer after-sales and warranty data that my team relies on. Last month, I needed to prepare our monthly CX trend report, counting open warranty tickets and customer complaints submitted through Dallas Device Distribution Co. I spent nearly two hours trying to build the report and filter results using our custom CX fields for complaint type and warranty status, but the reporting tool simply could not detect those custom fields. I was forced to export all raw customer records and manually sort every entry inside Excel, which ate up almost half my workday. The second ongoing issue is inconsistent real-time email synchronization. It does not happen every time, but it occurs frequently enough to worry me. A few weeks ago, I sent a revised customer experience optimization plan to the account manager at Texas Retail Electronics Inc. My email sent successfully right away, yet it failed to sync to their Salesmate profile until the next business morning. One of my teammates did not see that logged message and almost sent conflicting guidance to our partner. That could have damaged our long-term business relationship. I also wish there were more native integrations for customer survey platforms. Right now after collecting post-purchase user satisfaction feedback, I still need to manually copy survey results into each customer’s Salesmate profile. These problems won’t make us switch CRMs, but improving custom field support for reports and fixing email sync delays would remove so much repetitive admin work and lower the risk of miscommunication with our retail partners.
